*indignant* I'm not on crack! I'm just on Theraflu... which is evil. I swear to drunk I'm not God!! Whheeeee!

    "I'm a lumberjack and I'm okay...
I sleep all night and I work all day!
I cut down trees, I skip and jump,
I like to press wild flowers!
    I put on women's clothing
    and hang around in bars!!"

... oh wait... I am a woman... that doesn't exactly work well, does it? Well, I can't remember the verse where he says "suspenders and and a bra", so that shall have to do.

Today's word of the day: ...there is no word of the day.

"Oh my God, this is terrible, will somebody please stop it?"

I have a sinus infection. Doesn't that sucK? That's why I'm taking TheraFlu, though I doubt it will help...

And remember children; sinus infections are bad, so please don't pick your nose. ;D

That is a GOOD SONG, Xadllas! <3

... how long has it been since I actually used a 'less-than-three' sign? A long time. I don't think I've used it since I deleted my AIM. And now it's time for another Monty Python Sketch!

... maybe later. I don't feel like typing one all from memory right about now, and I'm too lazy to find it on YouTube. So I shall simply say this:

    "ALBATROSS!"

Linali froze and glanced around the room; a chill ran down her spine that had nothing to do with the lack of heat in the building, and she shivered involuntarily.

"Telegram," the oblivious man continued, apperantly putting all his mental effort into the word. "Ah, yes, I remember now!" He snapped his fingers triumphantly. "Lenalee Li!" His emphasis on the first syllable as 'LEHN' instead of a softer 'lihn' told her that her name had been spelled wrong yet again, and an anger mark pulsed on her forehead.

"So, am I free to go?" she requested through gritted teeth. Trust her brother to send a telegram with the incorrect spelling just so she would have to jump through hoops.

"Yeah, yeah, sure, go ahead!" The man waved absently and opened a folder on the table, perusing its contents. "I'm a very busy man you know, so I can't afford talk to you all day. Or is it night, now?" He frowned at looked at his watch.

The anger mark pulsed again, but Linali forced a smile. "Of course, sir," she said, rising and offering an only-slightly mocking bow, knowing that her friend and fellow exorcist Allen Walker would have said something appropriately witty. "Thank you for your time." Linali spun on her heel, boots clicking against the stained hardwood floor, and paused with her hand on the knob. Something was not right. She could feel it in her very blood; someone was watching her.

It was not the usual akuma-presence she had grown accustomed to feeling everywhere; though the stench of demons was prevalent in this city, this was something else. Something foreign, though perhaps not necessarily evil...

She shivered again and exited the run-down police station into the deeping gloom of the cobblestone streets. Linali stopped at the edge of an ornate stone balcony and rested her arms against the cooling stone, watching as the last rays of the sun dipped below the horizon and hazy dusk at last gave way to night.

"Do not trust anyone..." the voice rang again through her mind, this time conjured by an uncertain memory. "...not even yourself..."

OOC: oh dear, I did another long post again... once we bring other characters in, I'll be less likely to ramble! Oh yes... akuma are the demons that are destoryed by exorcists in the manga D.Gray-Man, which is where Linali originates. Allen Walker is the protagonist of the series. :D

    Oh dear, how frightening. :p

In other news, I competed in National History Day with my topic as Chuck Yeager, the first man to break the sound barrier and fly past supersonic speeds in an airplane. I lost. This was because in Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children, Cloud Strife became the first man to break the sound barrier... without aid of an airplane.

This has been a news announcement from the society of Gravity-Defying, Spikey-Haired Men.
    Cloud Strife: President
    Sora: Vice President

    ... Sora's VP? Oh dear...

In other news, I have decided to take up flying lessons by jumping off a desk and flapping my arms. I succeeded. And no, I am NOT on a wire!

I am female, thank you. Hence the "big sister" title I currently hold in the Kadaj Family. :D And you?

But yes. Randomosity is good. I suggest at least one daily helping of something random, and at least two servings of something silly. Such as a tennis-playing blancmange from the galaxy of Andromeda, or five British men dressed in drag.

That was your two servings of something silly, and now for something random.

    :p

OOC: Right, got it. I'd like to take this opportunity to remind the other participants that literacy is necessary to building a good RP. Please keep this in mind.

Assisi, Italy. End of a fictional 19th century

"Linali Lee, age 16, race: Asian." A stern police detective impatiently tapped her passport against his palm. "And you expect me to believe that you're sent by the Black Order; not only a member, but an exorcist?"

"That is correct, sir." A slim female sat across the table from him, legs crossed, resisting the urge to wince at her stereotypical surroundings. The bare light bulb hanging overhead gave her creamy skin an unhealthy pallor, making her jet black hair and almond-shaped indigo eyes stand out all the more. But for the table, whose warped wood spoke of better days, the small room was completely unfurnished. The peeling paint revealed the sorry state of this station's disrepair.

"My uniform should be proof enough," Linali continued, placing her hand over the Rose Cross emblazoned over her heart; a symbol of the Black Order that should have given her immediate compliance from any law-respecting citizen. Her uniform consisted of a perfectly-tailored black long-sleeved top, with a cross on a white background embroidered on each shoulder. She wore a black miniskirt and thigh-high black leather boots.

This outfit, which usually earned her reproving glares from more conservatively-dressed, was actually key to her occupation. The boots that upper-class ladies frowned upon were actually her main weapon; The Dark Boots, they were called.

"So, you say you're an exorcist," the officer repeated. "And with the Black Order, no less."

Linali checked her sigh and leaned back in her chair. "My story is not going to change no matter how many times you ask me the same question, even though it is phrased in a slightly different way," she pointed out. "May I ask why you are even interogating me, sir? You should have received a telegram from my superiors in England."

The man opened his mouth, most likely to repeat his inquiry in a slightly different way, then paused. "Telegram?"

"Yes. Tel-eh-gram," Linali emphasized the syllables as if speaking to a small child. "It's something boys and girls learn about in elementary school when they're very young." Her patience was beginning to wear thin.

OOC: I promise my next post won't be so long! I find it hard to deliever a proper explanation in one or two lines!

...no, there's not really. This freshman at my high school is convinced that there is, though. o.O REALLY! He walks up to me at lunch and he's like: "I heard there's a party in your pants. Am I invited?" And I'm like "..."
    "I'll bring food!" he continues.

Now, why exactly would I want FOOD in my PANTS? Guys, take note; this is one sign that you are completely desperate.

In related news, this guy is one of my good friends... just has a bit of a one-track mind at times. It tends to be perverted... all the time. But he's really not that bad of a guy.

Storytime with Jade is over now. Thank you for tuning in. Now it's time for the penguin on top of your computer to explode.

P.S... This is what I get for being sick and having eight-hour marathons of Monty Python's Flying Circus all weekend, and then having to brave school. Get used to it.

This has been a public advistory from Jade Rhade, who would like to please remind everyone that drugs are bad. Even the legal ones. Such as TheraFlu. They are quite disgusting and all but the most-tastebud-deprived would find any measure of enjoyment in them.

Have a pleasant day, unless you happen to be emo. Then have a very depressing and whiny day.

P.P.S... I promise I'm done rambling now... maybe. In a bit. *is hit over the head by a knight wielding a rubber chicken*

OOC: no prob, I've been busy as well... I haven't been on this post for... for... a while. T_T

Jade was tempted to shove her foot into the rapidly closing door, but a sound from the next couple of rooms over caught her attention. The until-now-believed-to-be-vacated Room 679. I KNEW there was someone in there! she thought triumphantly, a sudden grin crossing her face. "Stay," she told the now-closed door of Suite 669, then jogged down the hall to 679.

She knocked on the door and tried her favorite tactic again. "Room service!" Jade called in an artificially cheery tone. She didn't even know that this time she had a better chance of success, as mere minutes ago the mysterious prankster had, in fact, just ordered room service.

Well, Aeon Sora, I'm here like I promised!

    character from the manga D.Gray-Man

    Name: Linali
    Surname: Li
Occupation: Exorcist for the Black Order
    Origin: Chinese
Region: Currently lives in the Black Order headquarters in Britain (19th century)
    Lv. : 5

I'm intrigued by the 'level' option... sounds fun! ^_^ Will we receive more information from you as the RP progresses? Because I admit, I'm a bit confused as to how our characters will be interacting.

I still don't think that's a good idea, Chuck... we have to be careful, remember? The mods shut us down once (with good reason); we don't want it to happen again. :-/

I'm glad you're sure, sis, 'cause I'm NOT. But I'll go with you against my better judgement.

Hey, HisNobody... someone beat me to making your sig!! :( I'm sorry; I had History Day competition Saturday, and I had to stay up half the night before just finishing the exhibit.

AnimeGirl104- good luck with keeping your grades up! I know how difficult that can be! *hugs*

I missed you too, sis. I still can't trust CFF just on his word, but if you've accepted him, I've accepted him.

I don't know about the RP, Chuck Norris... I'm not sure if the mods would like a Kadaj-family-only RPG... maybe if we made it so that anyone could join, and just say that the idea originated from our hiding from guests?

Hi, everyone else! :D I missed you all, too.

Well, Naruto, I've been overruled. If the rest of the family can vouch for you (which they have) I'll accept you. But please, I'm asking you; don't do anything that will give my family a bad name. I love these people; they're my family. Please promise me that you've changed.

Well, I'm sorry. Naruto has to prove that he's changed since being CFF until I consider him part of this family. Call me a *****, I don't care, but I have a talent for holding grudges. Unless CFF can prove that he's changed, he's not going on the family list on the first page, nor will I make him a sig. Sorry, CFF, but you're going to have to prove yourself after all the crap that happened before. After all that's happened, I don't want to see this family shut down again.

CFF, if you can give me some evidence that you've changed, I'll accept you without any judgement. I'm just looking out for the best interests of this family. Do you have posts to prove it?
