Haha, I'm sorry!
OMG! I'M LATE!! *starts to cry* I was working on a project with a friend, and NOW I'm late! It's my friend's fault; she says so. Anyway! Happy anti-Valentines! Who wants to be my anti-Valentine's partner? :P
"Link" from Fullmetal Alchemist: Conqueror of Shamballa (the movie) "Smile Bomb!" from Yu Yu Hakusho "Stray" from Wolf's Rain Can I add in a closing theme? Because "Lost Heaven", the closing for FMA: CoS is amazing.
From Fullmetal Alchemist... Roy Mustang: "...at least until I become Fuhrer and every one of 'em is obeying me." Riza Hawkeye: "Be more discreet about those declarations, sir, some would call them treason." Jean Havoc: "She's right, Chief, it's a presumptous thing to say. You got a death wish or something?" Mustang: ..."That's a stupid question, Havoc. I say it because it's true. And when I'm Fuhrer, there'll be changes. THAT DAY... ALL FEMALE OFFICERS WILL BE REQUIRED TO WEAR... TINY MINISKIRTS!" From Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest... Jack Sparrow: "Where is the thump-thump?!"
8 U.S. ...this is very random...
This is a quote from my best friend's fanfiction. This isn't the funniest, but the other's would require explaining. Excerpt from Chapter One of "The Party from Hell", by i AM the Random Idiot (posted here http://www.fanfiction.net/s/3085459/1/) “Oh, Your Supreme Seeker-of-Darkness-ness!†Ansem’s magical guardian-person walked into the kitchen to see his master doing the crossword and eating Lucky Charms out of the box. “My loyal guardian!†Ansem called out, expelling a mouthful of half-chewed hearts, stars, horseshoes, clovers, and blue moons. “Help me out here. I need an eight-letter word for ‘absence of light.’†Ansem’s Guardian (whom I shall call Bob from now on, because that was his name) thought for a moment. Was his master feeling well? The answer was not only obvious; it was his master’s favorite word. Maybe this was a test. “Ah...’darkness,’ milord?†Bob ventured cautiously. “ABSOLUTELY NOT, YOU MISERABLE EXCUSE FOR A SOUL-STEALING DEMON!†Ansem exploded. Bob cringed. Ansem took a deep breath and explained, “Obviously, my well-meaning but sadly mistaken friend, they want us to think the answer is darkness. The true answer clearly must be...pancakes.†He filled 'pankakes' into his crossword, spelling it with two k’s.
Is it too late to join? I broke out my old LotR Elvish dictionary for this... Name: Jade Race: Elf Age: Looks 17 (actual age, 256) Alias: Shadow Warrior Series: Baldur's Gate (Forgotten Realms... it's a game/book-series spin-off of D&D, similiar to LotR) Appearance: Height- 5'5", slender with light skin, green eyes, and dark brown hair tied back in a braid with a jade ring tied at the end. Pointed ears. Weapons: -Daemagil ("Shadowsword" scimitar) Once per day, can cast shadow over the chosen battlefield for two minutes. -Silme ("Starlight" katana) Allows wielder to see through shadow cast by Daemagil Special Abilities: Can use basic magic- mostly fire-based and healing. Can see well in the dark Summon/Transform: N/A Limit Breaks (Up to Four): mostly abilities granted by weapons -Stars of Shadow- summons ten small serniath (shadowstones) which can be thrown to seek out and follow a target. -Wraith Healer- transforms player into a shadow-like Wraith for 30 seconds in which the player cannot be harmed, but also cannot attack- (gives time for using potions/healing magic) -Slayer- player goes berserk for 30 seconds, giving greater attack bonus, but drains user of life-points -Rain of Fire- casts spell that splatters tiny fireballs across battlefield except where user is standing Overdrive (A super-Limit Break): -Calath- ("Shadowlight") Both swords are combined into one; a cut from the sword while in this mode numbs area and slows reflexes. Biography: An elf, Jade's true name was Mairana, but she abandoned it when she became a sellsword (mercenary) against her parents' wishes. I'd like to be a judge for a few rounds, if possible. Zexion of the Twilight; if you have time, could you PM me and explain how this tournement will work from a judging perpective, and if I were to judge, would I still be able to fight? Thanks!
OMG, that's crazy! Riku: "Level up, level up!"
I learned with a typing program, but I can't remember what it's called... It had something where you had collect these keys by playing games because someone's football coach got locked behind this door-thing... there were little games where there were bubbles floating above snowboarders and stuff and you had to type the correct letter keys... it was really dumb, and didn't really work... this entire paragraph was typed by me looking at the keyboard... o.O :et's see what I caon fo without lookinhg;... not mushc, onviously. ^^ my example of not looking...
I'm yet another one who found the site via video... I was sick of trying to make FMA ones because there is NO LEGAL WAY to download episodes, so they're quite impossible unless one does slideshows... And I found this from other people's vids.
The manga's not that bad... okay, yes it is. *slumps defeatedly* But for those of us who don't have GBAs, it's the only access to CoM without reading the game script!
... I love Wrath. *ducks thrown debris from enraged FMA fans* Rather than being an Ed-lover, I am most definately a Roy-lover. :D
Damn, I was really hoping it was out there... I've found various sites with the Japanese subbed, but... that would explain why I couldn't find any in English. o.O Have you seen the anime?
This is still going on with that same picture, right? I have to say Roxas's is the best so far, along with eastercat's, but... Center: "What is the air speed and velocity of a laden swallow?" Second from left (arms crossed): "I don't know that!" Center: "You are the weakest link... goodbye."
Right, I don't think anyone started a D.G-M thread yet... if anyone did, I apologize! Has anyone seen the D.Gray-Man anime? I've read up to Volume 4 of the manga, and I have to say it's the only manga I've read that compares to Fullmetal Alchemist. I know the anime exists; was it ever dubbed in English?
Episode 50 is amazing... I cried. But that's all I'm going to tell you; I don't want to spoil anything!
As much as I hate to sound like a raving fangirl (which I am o.O), FULLMETAL ROXAS MY SOXAS! It's because of FMA that I'm here, really; FMA was the first anime I was ever introduced to, and I was HOOKED. My best friend was the KH fan, and we promised that if I'd let her rant about the new (at the time) KHII, she'd have to listen to my rant about Fullmetal. And well... I'm here. The movie was AMAZING, and the manga rocks... I love Alphonse, however, I have to admit that... that... *tiny voice* Wrath is my favorite character... Eeek! *dodges thrown debris*
I own Volume 1 of the KH:CoM manga, and IT ROCKS! Then I borrowed Volume 2 from a friend (none of my local stores had it), and... well, let's just say I was very disappointed by it, compared to Vol. 1. THIS CONTAINS SPOILERS FOR THE KH:CoM MANGA and/or GAME... then again, if you ARE on this thread, you should already know that... *shrug* I've been spending too much time on IMDb... o.O Volume 1 was very drawn out, going into a lot of detail (esp. with Agrabah), but then by Volume 2, the only worlds we saw were Twilight Town (which is rather necessary) and the Destiny Islands. No mention of any of the others. AND THEN... several very important facts were simply discarded; such as the fact that Zexion was betrayed by Axel and absorbed by the Riku Replica (who is known as Travis); not killed by Riku as shown in the manga. Also, Travis himself was killed by Riku during the game; in the manga, his heart is broken by Namine, and then... what? The next we see of Travis in the manga, he's starring in a spoof with a bunch of Vexen Replicas!!! Why?!? I appreciate the fact that some things need to be changed to better follow a serialized manga, but... did this bother anyone else?
Come on, people, don't let this die off!! This looks awesome! In case you should decide to keep this going, Zexion of the Twilight (as a SERIOUS RPG, not a joke)... Name: Mairana Gender: Female Age: 17 Height: 5'8" (oh, wait, should that be in meters? Uhh...) Aliases: Jade (used more often than real name) Personality: Quiet and intense, Jade often intimidates those she meets. She tends to use violence to solve her problems rather than to rationally think things through; this often gets her into trouble. She believes firmly in her own strange code of justice and follows it unerringly; if an innocent gets between her and a demon, she won't shy from blasting through said innocent, but she's fiercely loyal to her friends. Most consider her to be dangerous and immoral. Attire: Plain white tee-shirt, jeans, and knee-high laced black leather combat boots. In colder weather, Jade wears a black leather jacket with a silver scarf. Appearence: Pale skin, dark brown hair, and jade-green eyes. Specialty: ... not sure what you mean by that Weapons: Six-foot polished mahogany bong (staff)/ skilled in martial arts and hand-to-hand combat... perfers to use her feet more than her hands or weapon. Powers: That's a VERY good question... I suppose I'll need something... how about the ability to see the demons (and various other undead) that walk among the humans? Would that work with this setting, or can anybody see them? Reason: (This will obviously change if this power isn't unique) Cursed to always see the demons around her, Jade was sent away from the city to live with her grandfather. Said grandfather shared her curse and taught her to fight the undead around her. A few weeks after her 17th birthday, her grandfather died, leaving Jade alone to battle the undead. She fights to honor her grandfather's memory. Is it possible you could give more information? Such as location, time period, and circumstances? This is my first RPG, sorry if I'm wasting your time or not following some rule that I should know...
Fullmetal... definately Fullmetal...
