"Of course I do," Tifa responded as if offended, following after Cloud and heaving herself on the bike after him, getting comfortable behind, before wrapping her arms around his waist lightly, waiting. Looking over his shoulder, she stared at him softly, "I was just concern is all, about you." "Yes, I know," was all Saïx replied to Xemnas's retreating form, now wondering if this was really going to cost him his job. Axel wasn't here to confront him about it, he had seen him go somewhere with a black haired girl...he remembered her as the one who went with him to the office when he was called on the warning of suspension. However, he was going to leave a red note through his door, as it was typical for teachers and faculty to do to inform students that they were going to have a meeting on weekends. And not a good one. So, turning the other way, he headed for the dorm building, after taking the detour at the office, of course.
"Ooooh, you're so strong," Larxene mocked unimpressively and with fake admiration, knowing she could pull those two contradicting expressions off together. Rolling her eyes to the side slickly, she looked down at her soup, finding that there was just a bit left. Not wasting more of her time on the dimwit before her, she quickly ate the rest left even though her stomach was full, leaving just a tiny bit for a certain something. Licking her lips, she turned back to Axel pleasantly. "You're going to have to give him your thanks later, because I have yet to thank him myself...well, if he is alive later. I've also noticed that so far, you've said you don't mind me dead, won't miss me, and I'm a nobody to you. Yet, the point that's confusing to me is...what makes you think I give a damn?" She raised her eyebrows questionably at him in a sarcastic manner, not being blind to what he was trying to do; get her annoyed. Well, two can play that game, and if she can't fight, there are other ways. Holding back a sneeze, blinking the watered eyes away, she made her spoon hold the liquid that was left in her plate, and with a flick of her wrist, it was suddenly thrown on Axel's face, smack dab to his eyes, or it was what she was aiming for. Her blue eyes grew delightfully as the soup dripped over his facial features, wishing she could give one of her giggles. Giving a dramatic gasp instead, placing a hand to her mouth for added effect, she said daintily, "Oops, well, wouldn't you know? My hand slipped. I'm soooo sorry." Larxene tilted her head cutely. "Going to shut up now?" Sending a quirky sweet smile, she kept her focus on him, not moving, wanting to know what Axel would do. Laugh? Shrug it off? Be unimpressed? Call it childish? Leave? Retaliate? Hopefully leave, if it bothered him...
OOC: Tula already mentioned it xP. It's Axel. Saïx just appeared calm, not letting the last words affect him, because he will make sure Axel won't mess it up, or his job. Threats worked wonders, after all. Though he honestly did have some faith in the boy, it wasn't like the girl was a little kid, she was fourteen, all he needed was to watch over her. "Don't worry, Xemnas, he'll be fine." With that, he gestured quietly with his hand at the path of the office. "Care to go back? Or you have something else to do?" "Yeah..." Tifa agreed silently, him mentioning Aerith in such a form making her a bit...uncomfortable, again. But either way, he knew he had a point, and so she didn't say anything else as they walked to the motorcycle, reaching it after a while as it was parked a few ways away, but since this was hasty, they had to get to the school before Cloud went into pain again. Looking at the black and smooth bike, she turned to him, almost uncertain, "Think we can make it?" Guess the sense of excitement coming back from the mall was out the window, now filled with worry and just wanting to get there.
"My, such the concern, Axel. Just that Demyx sent out a wave, and I got wet. Unless you lack common sense, unsurprisingly, you can figure it out," Larxene drawled casually, cocking a blonde eyebrow lazily with a amused smile on her face as she heard the last question. The soup had made it possible for her to breathe through her nose now, and even if it was just for awhile, she'll take advantage of her voice being more clearer, the problem left was just the headache, in which she ignored the pounding pain. She wasn't going to show weakness, the fact that she had a cold and Axel (of all people out of thirteen to be in the kitchen) was seeing her sick...is enough. "And the goal in my Nobody life isn't to be missed, quite the opposite. I'm not expecting anything less." Larxene knew she was pushing it, but fluttering her hand, she made a few sparks of electricity appear, showing that even if her strength was low, she could still slap him around if she tried hard enough. She looked at him innocently with her doe eyes. "Though, I am willing to give you a free early example of my sweet and generous offer. What do you say?"
OOC: Not that it is bad, but I'm so used to seeing people put Axel in some type of red, that is weird it being another color xP. "Deathbed? Pfft. As much happiness as it would do for some, I'm not dying anytime soon. And if I do, I'll make sure you all have something sweet to remember me by," Larxene replied merrily, as a smirk adorned her porcelain face, hearing him mutter to himself. He was going to get a handful....when she gets better, because her strength was, admittingly, at a low point at the moment, considering it was wasting its energy fighting the damn virus. And she was already forcing herself as it is to make her food. Speaking of said soup, it was ready by now, and giving a sniff to her clogged nose, trying to uselessly get some air in, turned off the burner fully, giving a last stir with the ladle, before pulling it out, and placing it on the surface of the cooktop. She went to open another cabinet where the plates were, taking one out that was fit to holding such things as a broth. Rubbing her tired eyes with one hand, she stepped to the stove to serve herself, making sure it was full to the brim before heading off to the small table that was build in the middle of the kitchen. Larxene only walked back to the counter to open a drawer, pushing Axel's form a little as he was in the way, and left quickly enough as she got her forgotten spoon. Sitting in one bar stool, she heaved a sigh as she looked down at the heated liquid before her, laying her head in one hand. Goodness, she was tired. The pot had still some leftovers remaining, so she can either leave it here for a random member to eat it, or save it for later. Shrugging weakly to herself, she began to eat her soup slowly, getting some around the edges where it was most cool as the warm taste was already helping her congestation.
Tifa just gave a nod of her head, relieved with Cloud's words. He was right, Vincent would've called if anything had happened, she had forgotten about the fact that he had bought a phone, and she wasn't thinking straight when asking a question, and knowing there were loved ones back there to report. So, the main important person was Cloud at the moment, and she looked around as they were already outside and heading to the parking lot, wanting to get to Aerith by now. She hope dit wasn't anything serious or fatal, that's what was keeping her from going nuts. "I guess if we know that....it must be something in you then. It can either be what you said, or maybe is something else that mixed. Mako, perhaps?" She looked at him to see what he'll say.
OOC: Alright, I'll be off soon as well. Axel cursed in his head as he noticed the man was going the same way Shigiku and Naminé had, and tried to think. If he followed him, then it wouldn't be long before the man actually finds out he's being traced, and it would be even more suspicious. That, and he couldn't follow Jack hiding since he was walking around in the open, he wasn't exactly a trained spy. Getting a idea, lifting himself up the wall, he went to trail after him, a few paces behind where if anything hapens, he could escape or cover himself. With his fire red, vibrant hair and his black cloak...he wasn't exactly conspicuous, but that wasn't what he was going for either, he just waited until Jack figured it out and play along without his consent.
OOC: No, it isn't, Axel *gives shifty eyes* xP. But really, in the game, Axel and Saïx always had this tension with each other, and I'm trying to flow it here. I thought that as well, and I could do that for the while since we need her. Saïx just narrowed his eyes even more as Xemnas mentioned a "rebel", which was just what he was, but maybe he could twist it around a bit, "Well, the boy does belong to the Skater and Rebel group, you know about the separation in the school that we have..." And how the faculty for the past years tried to unit them again, but attempts were useless. This was only something that had to be fixed by the students own will, he thought. "But I assure you, he's good with kids....even has a little sister he takes care of at home. Of course, he's a bit on the class clown level, however, this is the main reason why I'm thinking of putting him as a babysitter. Teach him what it is to be responsble, serious, learn the meaning of hard work, and he's going to drill it into his mind the toughest way possible. It's only disciplining, Xemnas, and I'm positive he'll do a splendid job." "Yeah, you're right, but I just don't get it..." Tifa sighed as she trailed off, worried and anxious, and not wanting this to happen on top of her problems already, and her relationship. Hopefully, Aerith can do something or explain it, as she was the only person they had left in Twilight Town to take care of this. Of course, Tifa didn't feel very comfortable on it, she never did, since she knew Aerith's feelings...but she was still one of the greatest friends, and she'll just have to face it up, like she always did. She hadnd't really spoken to the girl after they went to separate in their own Preps and Skaters, but since this was emergency, the rift could be broken...not that Axel hasn't done that by now. The thought that Aerith can do something made her calm for a bit, but her grew in horro as a thought came through her head, "And the children?! You think this might be happening with them too?"
Axel, having practiced spying and noticing his surrounding as a fighter, made sure to keep a hidden eye on Jack's movements as he stood up, scratching his head when looking down at the plates, acting normally. He had noted that there was a wall that covered the way to the kitchen, and had a opening where he could reach Jack without him knowing, and if he went away, he could follow him as well. Gathering the trays, and putting them on top of each other quickly, with the used cups placed in a space where they wouldn't fall, he carried it with both hands, and walked down to the path of the kitchen, getting there soon enough as he had managed to ironically find a spot to eat close to it. Disappearing behind it, only to look down the closed hall to see a opening at the end that led outside, he went to it, placing the dirty items in a cart by the wall carelessly, where other dirty plates and utensils were. Reaching the opening, getting out into a side deck, he peered around the wall a little to see Jack close to him on the other side. Hiding himself completely again, knowing he wasn't spotted, he had to think things over, as you might never know if he could have some special sensing ability in the way of Zexion. Axel knew nothing about what the guy could do. Maybe talk to him casually...? He was a great liar and actor, after all...
Tifa grabbed her items quickly as Cloud got up and walked off, putting them all in the bigger Victoria's Secret bag along with the application, and went to follow after him, feeling quite sick now at the discovery as she stepped beside him. She didn't understand, why would it return like this anyway, when everyone else was cured? Could it be something else? After all, Cloud did have mako in him, which could spawn other results, maybe. Either way, the first thing to do was to see Aerith, as Midgar was too far away at the moment to get to. Or maybe wait to see if it passes and see if it was a one time thing. Walking along as they made their way to the entrance to go, she glanced at him in anguish, "W...what are you planning to do? I mean, is it really Geostigma, or something like a side effect that could leave?" Saïx visibly frowned at this, not wanting to play babysitter anymore than he has to with the 1,000 or so kids in the school. However, as he thought of the complaints, the problems in the dorm rooms, a idea formed in his mind, and it was something that will be sure to make that person annoyed. If he can fly by detentions easily, if he can ignore suspension warnings, why not give him a new sort of punishment? Staring at Xemnas, seriously, he went to say, "I was thinking the same thing, Xemnas. We can have somebody to watch her...a student, perhaps, instead of a teacher. I think it will be great, because not only will it teach responsibility, it would perhaps make them learn a few life lessons." His eyes narrowed as they darkened. "And I know the perfect student to give this job to."
OOC: This is the most I've seen of the thread so active (including Tularim), in the way of years, it feels like! xD I was busy seeing the many videos posted, roftl! Is too bad Nymph or something isn't here.
OOC: Being married and having a daughter? I'd say 25... And lol! Discovery! But I hate math T-T. I always sucked at it. Still do *kills numbers*. Axel nodded at Naminé's suggestion tensely, very well agreeing, and gestured with his hand for them two to go by themselves. "Okay, you go ahead first, and be quick, because he's distracted now, but I don't know for how long. We can't let him see Shigiku. I'll stay here, pretending to figure out what to with the...plates." Which was true. With no waiters to pick them up or anything, the only thing left to do is leave them here or take them to the kitchen in the back. Since he was in his Organization uniform, he might appear out of place, yet it was the best he could do. However, he had more things in mind, but he didn't want Naminé or Shigiku involved. Giving the two girls a sharp gaze, particularly to the blonde, he sternly ordered, "Go. Make sure to keep Shi away from view as much as you can without making it look like you're hiding something." Shigiku and him parting ways was perhaps getting closer, and while it made him feel that ache in his chest again, this was something he had to do. Besides, it wasn't like this will lead them to where her parents are exactly, depending on the situation.
Saïx took a deep breath, what the insolent girl saying not bothering him in the least, because what she was stating wasn't true, and he was more mature on these types of matter. In fact, he was married, so there was nothing to be bothered about. Especially if the girl was simply doing it to provoke him. He was quite admiring when Xemnas said she had detention, but either way, they had records of all students with pictures, and they'll find her name. Staring back at the dog, he saw it run off, and gazing at it for awhile, turned back to Xemnas, who was thankfully, now normal. Good. "Was she a student, Xemnas? You haven't answered that. We can't have something like her running around if she doesn't go here." "Yes, the pond. That's the water in the church, and it will always be there..." Tifa answered weakly, her voice low and coming as a croak, knowing where this was leading. But wasn't it over? It couldn't be...it had to be something else. Even when he asked her to slide his sleeve up, she was afraid to. Feeling her stomach and gut constrict in a unpleasant way, she hesitantly and cautiously rasied her hand, which caught the hem of his sleeve. Breathing deeply, she slowly lifted it, only to be met by marks on his arm, and her eyes widen in concern and apprehension as she almost panicked. "No...but how? I thought you healed?!" Now what where they going to do? Aerith was in the school and all, she can perhaps help as she was a mage and a Cetra, but Cloud couldn't drive, could he? Maybe it was a side-effect that will leave quickly enough?
OOC: Daaaaaaayum o.O. He sexy as heck. Thirty two my butt. Axel didn't know what was wrong as he saw Shigiku shrink in her seat, looking almost frightened at some direction, and it turned out even more odd as Naminé stared almost in surprise the same way. Thinking that this was a obvious sign to gaze at where their eyes were settled, he turned his head, only to blink his orbs as he saw the familiar, black haired man that he'd seen only in Shigiku's memories. For a moment, he made sure his eyes weren't deceiving him, but indeed, it was him, right there in plain view. So they were here? Shifting to eye both of the females with him, without letting his focus drift away from Jack, he said in a hurried and serious tone, "Shigiku? Go hide beside Naminé to make sure he doesn't see you." He then set his stare at the blonde. "As for us, pretend we didn't notice and don't look at him that much. People have this sense when they know they're being watched." He wasn't sure what he was doing, but he kept Jack under the corner of his eye discreetly without making it obvious. This was too soon for his taste...he had meant to keep Shigiku for as long as possible, but he had also promised that he'll get her parents back, and it will be unfair to her that he didn't take advantage of the chance when it presented itself. Gulping, finding something in his stomach swirling that wasn't the food, he concentrated half-heartedly....heart or not.
Tifa finished paying for the Tylenol after a while of waiting, and getting a bottle of water, still pondering over what Cloud might have as she was walking back to the bench in which she left him in. A sickness couldn't hit him that fast, could it? Feeling her stomach clench hard as she thought of the worse, she found herself walking more quickly, just wanting to get back more than ever. In a second, it wasn't long until she spotted a mass of blond spikes in which she went towards. Tifa noticed he looked a bit worse now, and she wondered if this was something Tylenol can fix. Sitting down beside him again, she placed all the stuff next to her instead, and went to study his face, asking him in a worried tone, "What's wrong, Cloud? I have the medicine, if it would work..." "That's none of your business," Saïx replied patiently, finding his right eye twitching, but didn't turn around to face them anymore. He really needed a good and long vacation, kids these days are easy to get on your nerves, and while he had control, he was known to have a nasty temper. To make sure they get the point he was serious, he added, "Any more questions, and you'll find yourself writing them in detention on Monday, after school."
OOC: The name's Jack. Jack Dawson xD. Who said to Rose to never let go, but she did anyway and he went down to the ocean floor (okay, I know the real meaning about that, just thought I cracked at it xP). But the kidnapper is just Jack. "If she wants to draw and doesn't want to swim, I think you should let her, Shi. Is not like we can't force her," Axel stated, eating the very last piece of bacon, and now going to gulp his fruit punch. Then again, they weren't going to swim right away after eating, it was bad for your stomach and it wouldn't digest well. He sucessfully felt like a hot air balloon....and of course, after he was back without being too full, he'll have to do a few exercises, he hadn't stretched out or have had a good fight for awhile, and he didn't want to get out of shape. For being slim, he still had muscles and abs to show off. As the last drop of punch was drank away, he looked around to see that Naminé was finished, though he didn't know yet about Shigiku. "Not to rush or anything, yet to ask, is everyone done, or do you need more time?" He eyed his Pumpkin at this.
OOC: Yeah, it was the left. He always had it covered. "School is not for entertainment, if you're not satisfied with what you're given, then, to put it in Layman's terms, too bad. It's the weekend, find something to do outside, or go to the pool in the basement," was all Saïx said on the matter for a final time, before turning around after narrowing his penetrating gold eyes at them and paying his attention back to Xemnas and the dog. "Now, if you would please leave so I can take care of this problem at hand." Tifa was now going through the rack of medicines, noting the Tylenol boxes right at the second, since it was a well known brand, as well as Advil. Still, she picked the one Tylenol box where it reduced fever, sickness, headache, etc., the symptoms that Cloud was having, and it blatantly said that it has more strength, so it works for her...and him. Taking it in her hand, she walked down and out of the aisle, getting a bit out of breath with her running around all the time, but her man was sick. She wondered what it could be though, as he was fine just a while ago before... Getting to the least busy check-out, waiting for a lady to finish, she sighed.
OOC: The Sniper Nobodies :P.
OOC: Waaa...? o.O Oh damn, I meant to say "There", not "that". Now I have to see how to make Vexen get over my mistake xD. Okay, I'll edit it and just ignore it, since what Max said can mean a jab at Vexen. Vexen sighed, not wanting to deal with this any longer, plus the added insults, and looked over at Zexion, watching to see if he got any of this yet, or if he was suspicious. Whatever the case, he hoped the Cloaked Schemer knew what he was doing, as Max was asking for his help, so it was up to his comrade to question it and pick a decision. There was still the fact that his story had holes, but he'll have to wait until Max showed what else he truthfully wanted. "Again, I ask again now, what is it that you need Zexion to do? 'Scent' it out?" "It seems to be empty and no one is here," Axel said, stating the obvious, but saying it outloud because he felt like it anyway. He had been exploring the place, feeling more calm now that he was here than he was heading to it, only because it meant that he didn't have to buy anything and think of the negative thoughts that had been plaguing him by now. However, he had found a way to ignore them, and that's to take Zexion and the kiss off his mind, and reliving the time when Larxene was actually with him. He had a right to be suspicious though, unlike him, Larxene wasn't hypnotized, and she didn't exactly showed more restraint when it happened...almost as if she had to think over to smack Zexion. Okay, there he went again. Damn it. Siighing irritatingly, only getting mad at himself, he walked around, tracing with his gloved finger the glass that were covered and protected the gold inside. Well, since no one might be here, and Traverse Town didn't have people anymore, at least in this part, so why couldn't he? The point of a gift was to work hard and pay hard money for the one you care about, that's what made it meaningful, but who he said had to pay for anything else? Perhaps, he could have his fun by pretending...he bent his head down to look at a particular ring that had a 100 k diamond, smirking. "Hey, Roxas, think we can steal something from here?" Roxas, who was closed to him, also seeing the jewelry, eyed him intently, raising a eyebrow, "What for? You want to wear earrings and beautiful diamong rings, Axel?" "Hahahah, wow, Roxas, you should go ahead and be a comedian, you're hilaaarious," Axel countered boredly and dryly, sending him a unimpressed look , before staring at the rest of the interesting trinkets, ignoring the blond pain in the a**. "I have to say, dear, you'll look better in them than I'll ever will." Straightening up, and supporting himself lightly with the peering glass, he swiftly swung himself over on the other side, his cloak billowinng behind smoothly as he landed on his feet, and eyed the see-through glass pane that had small, round, metal keyholes for the lock. This was good, because not only was he truthfully just joking around with the blond to see his reaction, it was distracting him from thinking anymore on Larxene. "Think about it, Roxas. This part of Traverse Town is empty, there's nothing, but weird creatures living here, and this place is empty. Not to mention, I'm saying we can sell them or something. By the way, mind using your Keyblade for me?" Roxas stared at him, unsure, and not really wanting to. He had his morals intact, and not stealing was one of them. Giving a glare to his best friend for his actions, he told him hard, "You don't know if this place is empty, Axel, and stealing is wrong, isn't it? People go to jail for these type of things." Axel eyed him, confused. "And the point is....?"
OOC: Lol xP. Good, because she's not dead either TT-TT. Damn Sephiroth. "Is Mr. Saïx," the royal blue haired man corrected sternly, turning around to look at the students before him who interrupted. Staring down at them blankly, but sharply, wondering why they can't be satisfied with just once dance, he answered, "It won't be for a long while, as school just started, and the primary focus to do in a school, is to study. We would have a Sadie Hawkins Dance soon around the corner, followed by a Halloween and Winter Dance in the appropiate Holidays. One we hit the new year, all you'll be worried about is midterms, and beginning to take the SATs and the town exam if you're a Junior, so you better enjoy what you'll get. Good enough for you?" Tifa had walked quite a way, almost jogging sometimes, but it was all good in the end as she spotted Walgreens up ahead, and went to it, a bit more calmly than before, but still hurrying. As her legs stepped in the store and the cool air condition brushed her uncovered skin, which was her legs arms, and face, she looked around. It was nice that it was still warm and hot outside, instead of the days being ruined by the upcoming winter that will appear soon, yet, she couldn't waste any time thinking about that as she headed to the aisles right off, following the signs. Now, Tylenol, or Advil? Just something that worked strongly, but not enough to make him drowsy... OOC: Heheh, Sadie Hawkins Dance xP.
