He had no experience, and his Chocobo seemed to fool around, and he wasn't sure if that was safe. It wasn't that he was scared, but there was a chance of falling, and he didn't want to break anything at the moment he was here. "Roxas, just relax. Weren't you the one who wanted to ride them?" Axel aked airily, his lips in a smirk, reminding him in the most sarcastic way he could of his excitement to see Chocobos and and riding them. Now he was having doubts after he dragged him away from spying on the receptor. How quaint. Rolling his eyes to the side, he motioned Kabi to move to his friend, and in turn, she did so, both bird and Nobody very balanced as one. Being next to Roxas, he then said, perhaps trying to make him feel better about this despite having the chance to rub it in, "I'm sure Chani can understand that this is your first time, and will go slow for you if you wish it to. She's playful it looks like, but not mean. If not, you'll gladly switch Chocobos and she can stay stuck in the den..." Axel have Chani a certain sharp look at that, and the bird simply placed her head down, as if being scolded. Well, what do you know? He had a way with animals. Either way, he flashed Roxas a confident grin. "Come on, I'll be right beside you anyway. You dragged me here, so you better damn ride the Chocobo." Vexen tepidly watched the lower Nobody leave as it took the piece with him, and not like he cared for it or it was important, he could be throwing it away, for that matte, but the whole point of the object was to bring to Zexion for study, and he left it there in case the Cloaked Schemer needed it once more. Whatever the manner was, he wasn't going to question what Zexion did with it, but he did spot his smirk. Looking at him strictly, he went to say in the same tone, "Yes, that is all. However, I was serious when not to tell Larxene. Not that I don't want her to find out, is that I don't want her to find out before we can set in stone that Axel...the fact is, wouldn't it awful for her to get her hopes up that he's still alive, and then ruin it by saying he wasn't? I would think you 'cared' for her..." He let it trailed off there, almost like a purposeful dramatic pause, smirking for a second, before offhandedly adding, "There are other reasons, I do admit, none are good or make much sense considering Max's character as we've known so far, some of it is staying watching Axel die or him doing the murder...I doubt that one the deepest, I would figure Axel is too important for him to get rid of. But there is a point where he might be leading us astray. Yes...I am still in the track that it is Max that was there, as I'm sure you do too, because if not, I overestimated you. Other than that, the real other chance that is perhaps 70% of being true is... He made a stop there, not on purpose this time, but seemingly not wanting to hear the thought out loud, so he spewed out quickly, "Axel's survival." Another rest, Vexen knowing he just gave out what he was thinking, when he wasn't going to before...it just seemed immature to hide useless tidbits like those, now that his contemplation was over. "I doubt you'll keep it from Larxene though, but it wouldn't be pointless to try anyway. And that's all."
Kairi had a Keyblade because it was the most random thing that could've popped out of Nomura's mind. Riku comes out of nowhere and says, 'I got this flower induced Keyblade from a memory', and gives it to her, than all of a sudden she acts like she's a tough b*tch? Please. Even in KH2 she had to be saved by Naminé. That had to be the biggest "WTF?" moment in the game to me. I don't see her as a wielder, because why when Sora, Riku, and Mickey, joined together their Keyblades to open the door to get to Xemnas, she wasn't there? In fact, the whole flowery Keyblade disappeared and was never seen again. I'm sorry, but I can never see Kairi as a fighter, she isn't one, as much as she tries to be. In all games, she was always the damsel in distress, and is hard to take that picture out and then to abruptly say she has a Keyblade, and can now help? I don't care if there's a connection to Aqua, at least Aqua was told to be a fighter at first glance as we see from the Secret Ending. Larxene, we knew to be hardened and sadistic the first time we got a look at her (she fatally kicked Sora royally). Kairi...Kairi...is meek. I can't see it.
Holy..! Those actually exist? And a mermaid and a mouse, wtf? How can they even try and write that, or a duck, or a dog? About yaoi, I've replied to this before, but when you think about, is not like KH has enough girls to pair up any guys with, at least interaction. If you're thinking of a het pairing for Axel, the only one is Larxene, or if you're feeling more random, the 14th Member (how much do all of you want to bet those will be popping up, huh? Probably her and Roxas too, and the whole Org.). You can't pair Axel with Kairi, she has her own with Sora, and Riku, and Naminé is also on herself, not to mention they're young. Too young. And there's no way Kairi will fall in love with Axel if they just met for how long? That's why I can't get into it, even in AU. It's the same with AkuRoku, it looks like pedophilia. Zexion and Demyx are just a pair out of nowhere with no substance except making it because they're cute together and can feed off each other in personalities, when in truth, looking at Zexion in the game in canon, in that FM+ scene with him and Xigbar, he looked utterly annoyed with the peppy attitude. Demyx isn't even on a list if Zexion had a choice. The worse is, that if two guys are best friends, is even more because they can say there's prove that they love each other and that they went through all the trouble to find them, etc. In my opinion, the only reason Axel was so attatched to his friend was because like Saïx said, he couldn't bear to live without a heart. Roxas had that, or made him feel like he had one, so when that was gone, he was back to emptiness (and this is all whether Roxas has a heart or not), so he tried to get it back, along with his best friend. If you look at it, Axel even said Sora made him feel the same way, and as much as AkuRoku fans like to think, I'm sure Axel is aware Sora is not Roxas.
OOC: ...o.O...LOL xP. For some reason, that makes me imagine Fluffy going on top of Larxene's head, and using her "antennae" as reins. Don't ask about that x.x. "Are you sure that's going to digest well?" Axel questioned Wiggles casually, as he had noticed the Moogle swallow whole the box and nachos in one swoop when his eyes went upward to check if it was done. Looking around, he noted that Roxas was already seating on the Chocobo, ready to go, though looking quite fretful. Finding Kabi moving, he watched as she bent down to a lower height, as a way for him to get on easier. Shrugging, leaning his support on the Chocobo, but very light, he easily and smoothly swung his leg over, sitting on the saddle and positioning himself correctly, making sure he was comfortable enough...especially when the bumpiness that was about to happen when riding goes off, have to protect what's precious. He glanced over at Roxas, who stared at him back blankly at how he did it so simply, and his Chocobo, Chani, who had a amused glint on her eye...or something that showed the Chocobo is satisfied because of its posture and high head, seemingly not bending down on purpose, he could guess. Then again, since when had he read animals? In a breath, brushing the Chani thought off, Axel began to explain, "I've ridden a horse before in my past life. Not alot, I barely did to gain even a ounce of experience, but I do remember how it feels like in the height and what I'm suppose to do. I'm sure the Chocobos go smoother though...for once, the saddles on Chocobos doesn't have what a horse saddle has: a place to put your feet through. Your legs are basically free...and be careful with Chani." Seeing as Axel was already on, Kabi softly straightened up, making him grab hold of the bar that will help him hang on when riding instinctively in a flash at the movement. Unlike Chani, he at least had one that wasn't so playful, but nice and sweet. Roxas gulped, now having second thoughts on this, especially when Axel had blatantly spelled out that with his Chocobo he had to be "careful", though he didn't know why exactly. He grabbed the bar that was placed in the saddle tightly, as if the harder he held it, the safer he'll be, also noticing that Chani didn't bend down so he could safely get on like Axel's Kabi did...and Axel was taller. Was that what his friend meant? Surely, they were trained for the rider to get on comfortably, so...did Chani do it on purpose? Trying not to look down, he eyed the Hypello from his height apprehensively, his voice tense, "Um...any other tips you can offer?"
Keira blinked for a moment, raising a eyebrow, and wondering if Kai truly wasn't aware of the way she spoke. Seeing her jump over easily towards the fence as she threw her legs over, Keira wished she could do that, but since she had a skirt on…and it didn't matter whether Kai was a girl or not, it was still awkward. Carefully climbing over smoothly, her feet were in the bar, before she jump herself over, grabbing her skirt down to make sure it didn't fly up. If she knew she would be going somewhere like this, shorts would've worked wonderfully. Not to mention the ache went off again. However, as she composed herself, she stared at Kai, “Well, you might speak like Kai, I guess, but to us anywhere, the way you speak would in third person." Then she just shook her head. "Forget it, let’s just keep going…"

Axel blinked when he felt Wiggles appear out of nowhere on top of his head again, crunching on his nachos, and for some reason, if the bathroom will allow it, wash his hair again, in case. Sighing as he followed Roxas into where the Chocobos were perched waiting, they stopped for a moment, Axel for warning Wiggles before he hopped on, and Roxas for a completely different reason. "Wigs, if you're going to ride this with me, finish it up, your nachos might fly away....and you're eating in my hair." Stepping over to Kabi, he gave her a small scratch around her neck, making her jiggle happily again, waiting for his Moogle to end his lunch. Roxas, on the other hand, was already rounding on Chani, trying to find a proper way to get on top to ride her. It had a saddle, but it wasn't like he had ridden a horse either, so this was new to him. Sighing, willing to try it, grabbing hold on the Chocobo's back, but not adding too much pressure either, he placed his foot on the strap after a moment's hesitation, and despite the tallness of the creature, heaved himself up hard, like he was doing gymnastics, and swung his leg over succesfully in one move, sitting on the saddle, only to balance his sitting after almost falling to the side. Looking down, it almost felt like he could fall easily, and the way the bird moved...he was quite anxious now. It was intimidating. He'll definitely be sure to grasp on for dear life when this gets going.
"Yeah..." Tifa sighed disappointedly, finding Angel now gone, and in defeat, gestured to Cloud by pulling his hand for them to go, sending a smile to him. She couldn't be down and ruin Cloud's own mood, and she couldn't wait to ride the motorcycle, that in itself, got her excited at the prospect and made her feel better about Angel. Taking a sip from her Sunkist, she glanced over at Cloud, skipping, "Let's go, then! I don't know how long it has been since I haven't gone outside with you...if we ever even did." Rei was out with Axel. And now she'll be out with Cloud. It was funny how they were with the men they wanted. Hopefully, Rei will take advantage of it to get even closer.
OOC: Hypello Pic And, yes, I have watched Invader Zim, before it got cancelled -_-. Gir :3. "I love the little tacos. I love them good." Axel had backed off the stall the moment the what he called now, Nobody Hypello, went to take out the Chocobo that seemed comfortable with him, and the bird seemed to be happy with getting out, and with him being the rider. He couldn't believe though...a Hypello who's heart got taken? And then turned into a Nobody? The Heartless had gone that far to take a creature's heart as well? Not that the Hypello didn't look human enough, though, is not like Heartless had brains or any sense of self. Either way, since he still looked like a Hypello, than he is one to him still. Going over to Roxas, who appeared like he was about to start jumping up and down like a kid, he questioned normally, "You still mad at me?" Roxas stopped his ecstatic show of axniousness , since he had to keep it cool and not show how truly excited he was, he didn't like being so open. Nevertheless, he didn't answer Axel's question as of the moment, taking a while to think on it. He knew he still wasn't angry at him, that was for sure, but he was pondering over whether he should tell him that or not. Coming to a decision, Roxas shrugged, watching as the what he now knew was a Hypello, although the Nobody of one, finished setting up the Chocobos. "I don't know..." Axel rolled his eyes, and knowing already the truth, he began to make conversation, "So, what are you going to name your Chocobo? I was thinking of naming it Larxy or Lar or something along those lines, since I couldn't think of anything...." He paused there, going into his thoughts as he tried to figure out a Chocobo name, before saying after a long silence, "What do you think of...'Kabi'?" "I'd say it sounds like what you would call a pet, or rather, a Chocobo," Roxas answered, letting himself follow Axel casual stroke of discussion. Is not like he could hide it from th redhead any longer that he wasn't upset at him, and he kind of expected it. Scratching his cheek for a moment, thinking of a good name for his Chocobo, he then said, "I'm going to name mine...Chani." "I have the feeling those names suck." Roxas gave him a dry look. "Think of a better one?" "......no." "There you go then."
OOC: I don't know, if she did, I would've thought it was a random one to get around. It's been too long since I played FF7. Tifa just shook her head, watching Angel walk away sadly, but then heaved a heavy sigh. The girl was making the decision for them, and stepping up to Cloud, she grabbed his hand with her free one that didn't have the can of soda, and shrugged, not knowing what to do now. Before Angel left the cafeteria completely, she asked Cloud, only one last ime beofre they left, "What other way? Tell me, it doesn't matter if it might not work...but if it's dangerous..." She had a ride long ago, when she first came here to do her studies in a good school, but her truck broke down fully and was considered useless, not that it wasn't crap anyway. So, with no way of fixing it, or money, it went to the heap.
"Well, what do you know, Rox? We both got females..." Axel quirked up sarcastically, leaning against; the door of the stall now, only to find a mass jump from his head. Knowing it was Wiggles, he saw the Moogle mutter something about nachos, and coincidentially enough...a nacho stand popped up close. Blinking for a moment after a while of staring, Axel simply shook his head, and left Wiggles to fulfill his craving for nachos. He didn't think anything could surprise him in this world anymore. Roxas just glanced at his friend for a second to his jibe, before turning his head to the blue overgrown gecko, swaying his head a little, to be taken as a nod. He felt a kind of excitement bubble in him, the fact of riding a Chocobo making him quite impatient and unable to wait. Grinning, he went to say, "Okay then, we'll ride them now." Let them head out already, he knew for a fact that Chocobos were also very fast, and he wanted to experience it. Thinking he should ask first now before anything, because he was tired of being kept in the dark about what the hell the owner was or what kind of creature was he, he asked plainly, "No offense, or anything, and sorry if it did, but I was wondering what kind of species are you? I never seen it before until now, and I can't fathom what it could be. If you don't mind me asking, of course...if so, then forget it, is fine." Axel made sure to sound polite again, because if he sounded rude like he would usually have asked it, he'll perhaps ruin Roxas's awaiting fun to ride the Chocobos in all their glory.
Tifa would've been happy at the prospect of Angel coming, but the thing was, she didn't have a car, and unless Angel had one, well...they had a problem. Only Rei had a ride, which is why they all agreed to take Rei's car on the girl's day and night out they planned for tomorrow, yet she was already busy going with Axel to the beach. She didn't want to be the bearer of bad news, and she looked around, a bit anxiously, her voice low, "Uh, yeah...the mall is good..." Wringling her hands, she looked to Cloud apprehensively, whispering quietly, "You sure your motorcycle can't carry three people?"
Tifa still hesitated, torn, and she took awhile to think it over. Maybe Angel did need her breathing space for awhile, after all, she did say all she could say at the moment to make her feel better about what she thought of. But did she want company? Axel and Rei are out...so who did that left? Tifa knew Angel wasn't allowed to come, due to Cloud's attitude, it said enough, but then she simply didn't want abandon her. Shifting her eyes to Cloud and her, she contemplated it over carefully, to see if there was anybody else she could talk to...she might find one herself. Reluctantly...Tifa nodded in recognition, going a bit more over to Cloud, and grabbing her soda, but she still had to ask one more time, "You positive?"
Tifa laughed slightly at Cloud's answer, before looking up at him gladly with a grin as he offered to go out and have some fun. She was already standing up as her boyfriend let go of her hand, but then remembered that Angel might be left alone, and despite her being a new addition, Tifa took her as a friend, and friends don't leave other friends that way. She heard her answer about the permission, but she still felt bad...about leaving her alone. But then there was also spending time with Cloud as much as they could together, because if she did turn out to be pregnant, they will be quite busy, and she wouldn't be able to do stuff when she came carrying around that belly. Biting her bottom lip in indecision and worry, she turned to look at Angel, honestly and seriously, "Are you sure? I mean, will you be fine?"
"Hmm...." was all Vexen muttered, his brain churning at the chance that was now presenting itself, and yet, Max was the one still on his mind, unless of course, it was leading them astray. But there were only a few posessors of darkness that he had known, Ansem...the heartless, was one, then it passed on to Riku, and the only one left with a sense of darkness like it, as far as he knew, was Max. It will be understandable why he would be at the machine, the many reasons there, but one of them had to be the truth, even though he knew to be careful on the hints. As said, it could've been placed there on purpose for them to notice it...but then....why did he only find out when Roxas trashed the machine and he found this particular clue with a bunch of other useless parts after? Max couldn't predict the future as to what Roxas would do, and he was there the whole time cleaning up except for the meeting. Why would Max bother to put some clue on a piece to lead them to the wrong conclusion anyway? And why would it be worth it since he could have easily thrown it in the trash bag without a second look as he was tidying up the lab? Didn't add up...and he had to cross that possibility out, though not completely. The fact that he actually killed Axel was crossed out as well, due to previously stated reasons that his machine had no outward interference. The rest was Max being there and touching the lid, either watching....but why would he? If he didn't kill Axel, why would he watch a part of his own scheme die? Vexen frowned to himself as he knew where his mind was leading him up to, and his eyes appeared enthralled at the likelihood. Was it that easy? Or maybe he was just proud of his machine to actually think it might've been hindered? That was denial on his part...and as a scientist, opportunities were endless, and doubting yourself was just a pathway to failure. It was then he wondered whether he should share this with the Cloaked Schemer...but shaking his head in the end, he made his way to get up, reaching out for his wine as he stood. Looking at the bottle, he briefly thought if he should offer it to Zexion, as it was meant for them both to drink...but he would probably think it was poison like Larxene did. So grasping it, he decided to leave the piece on Zexion's table if he wished to inspect it more, and looked at him, "I think I should make my leave for now, I've got my answer. Larxene is probably waiting for you anyway...and no word about this, and I repeat, NO word about this whatsoever to Larxene, if you're on the same line of thinking the same conclusion. The last thing we need is for her to go reckless again and ruin things. " However, Vexen didn't know to either to search more or be greatly disappointed that Axel might be... "A female? Do you mean Roxas's or mine's? Or both?" Axel asked forcibly...politely, though he more was aware that the blue alien lizard was replying to his question, because he had known that the Chocobo he had come to bond with, was indeed, a female; there was no other possible way. And a very loveable one at that. Yet, he still wanted it to be sure and to be placed in the air to hear, since there was a two percent chance he might make a mistake on gender. Seeing Roxas not saying anything and waiting for the answer, they both looked expectantly at the...what was it? OOC: Basically, Tula, there's Moogle mania due to Max xP. Axel is still in Traverse Town (nobody can get in, as always, and nobody can sense your presence) where Max has him from the beginning after he woke up from his long rest of him being 'dead' (the thing is, the machine malfunctioned, Max was spying on this, and saved Axel, if you didn't know). After a long while, Axel was getting bored with no one to talk to except Max and his Moogle minions, and tensions were high with arguments, and Axel asked for Roxas to come, at least. Max did so, and know Roxas and Axel, are checking out a Chocobo ranch, where the manager is a Hypello (another FF creature from FFX). Vexen found a piece that had a darkness to it when he was cleaning his trashed machine, and found it as a clue, and now he's investigating about Axel's death or murder and talking with Zexion to see if he could 'smell' who does it belong to. The 'scen't is familiar, but it doesn't directly say who it is, yet the two come to the though of Max. Is not set in stone, but Vexen is suspicious, and now he's about to leave after Zexion told him what he thought. Larxene is in her room...with her Moogle, Fluffy (but Nymph is not here now, so I don't who you can talk to except for Xangel, who is confronting Xin, wanting to take her back to their Org.).
"I know he's there," Tifa abruptly said, noticing Angel's look, but it wasn't like he was providing conversation either. Then, again, it might not be his interest. Simply giving a nod to her answer, she turned her head to Cloud, who appeared to be a bit dull, and she did kind of feel guilty about it. She also didn't didn't want to ask him about Yuffie again, though she wnated to. Sighing, in the end, she looked at them both, though she did a double take when she didn't find the can of coke anywehre, and her expression turned confused, "Where's the Coke?"
"Nice to meet you too. And yes, Keira can," she answered plainly, her tone not mocking to hurt her, but more like playfully following Kai's example, though if it was another person who didn't have a friendly aura like this girl presented, it would've been different. Keira stared at the forest apprehensively from the fence, wondering what they were going to do, but as said, she could always fight it out, might as well get her curiosity fulfilled and see what is it that Kai wanted over there. She always liked exploring anyway. Being trained in martial arts and self defense on her own accord and decision, and for her protection, she knew how to climb over anything if need be, and so, she placed her foot into one small hole sligtlty, and then lifted her other leg easily, waiting for Kai to go ahead first. However, before they can move forward, she asked straightforwardly, "Is there a reason why you speak in third person? Is kind of odd, since I've never heard anyone else like that before. Not that is bad, though, just wondering."
Vexen wanted to snap his fingers at the mention of Max, but stopped as it wasn't his way of going about things, and he couldn't believe he missed it. Of course...that man had always wanted to do something with Larxene or Axel, or both even, yet he never really knew what exactly were the guy's powers. But what happened then? Did he kill the insufferable redhead? A part of his plan? But there wasn't a way, he was sure his machine was not manhandled or disrupted from any outside force, not even darkness could be capable of affecting everything, or even used to disable a object. There was no doubt in his mind that his creation short-circuited as much as it 'pained' him to think so, all the clues that he had gone over his machine pointed to it. It was basically written in print. The particular piece was also part of the lid that opened the casket as well, so that's even more prove that while it was touched, it wasn't tinkered with. So what did that left? One, Max was there when it malfunctioned, and tried to get him out for reasons known to himself or for his plan. Two, he simply stood there watching, peering as it spewed its death. Third, to trick them and leave a clue purposefully to guide them wrong, and only managing to fall more into his hands. Or fourth....he was there when it went haywire and... His eyes widened at that, for once, feeling some type of flourish as the possibility ran through his head. Could there be...yet, there were many other reasons as well, he wouldn't go simply for the one option that caught his interest the most, but will definitely catch a certain blonde female's interest. He wasn't even positive it was Max either. Blinking his eyes, he gazed at Zexion intensely, "Can...make sure, does that 'familliarity' turns towards Max more? Think on it carefully if you have to, you hear? This is crucial..."
Hesitantly, Keira let her guide her, her butt aching with each step, but nothing that was that painful to stop anybody from doing anything or sitting. In her mind, she had to ponder whether should she just go off with a stranger who she just met, despite her appearing very nice, though if anything, she could fight her way out of it. That was a option. She wasn't one to be very social, so it quite perplexed her that somebody was making a effort, whatever that may be. Staring in front of her, she saw that they were heading to the park, and looking at the girl less cautiously, she said, "Um, my name is Keira, by the way. I got your name, so I thought I'll give you mine..." Yeah, no social skills whatsoever, even to her that sounded like a forced try.
OOC: Lol xD, I never wanted to write short, because I found, eveytime I checked my post over, that something was missing, and I could've placed a little more than I did, so it bothered me. That just expanded to what I do now ^^;. But I had no idea what to write on Vexen that time, so I just...placed something. "If they can make it apear like so, wouldn't they have to have some type of darkness or power relating to it?" Vexen questioned thoughtfully, sighing in 'disappointed' as his discovery didn't prove to be quite what he expected it to be, he had greater predictions than that, or else, the darkness was covered well. Taking back the piece, he placed in the bag again, and zipped it closed, breathing deeply as he settled it on Zexion's desk with the wine, where it was before. There had to be some hint in there that could be useful, not many posessed and controlled darkness well enough, and from the way it glowed, it definitely, from his studies, showed that it was by a posessor, not simply natural darkness. Since the Cloaked Schemer said it 'smelled' familiar, than perhaps it was someone he had come in contact with, or someone he had met before, even the essence of it. Lifting his head up, as he had it down while he was thinking, he eyed his comrade in a very serious, but knowing manner, "Tell me, Zexion, do you have any idea who might wield darkness? The object glows...is definitely stronger than any darkness that could simply wrap itself around it. Is there for a reason...." And someone who had to be there on the time of Axel's death. Yet, as Vexen thought more on it, the wider the realization became...close.
