Axel hesitated there, as that was one of the few immoral aspects of what they were doing. "Well...yeah, but nothing exactly happens to them, they're just collected. So that's nothing to worry about. All we need them is for energy, really. Once our Kingdom Hearts powers up enough, is over, and we get hearts. On the words of Master Xemnas's plan." He stopped there for a moment, not wanting to continue on that topic of what they do, and decided to switch it around. "The Heartless are more difficult to explain, since there are the normal ones, Shadows, NeoShadows, the ones you saw, and then there are the ones marked with the Heartless emblem, a black heart, with a red, chained 'x' across it, and red linings around it, which comes in all colors, shapes, sizes, more stronger. Emblem Heartless were created by machine, instead of being created naturally....from Xehanort's Heartless, who calls himself Ansem. The person you saw that almost destroyed the ship? That's why they have his mark...yet, that's all I ever knew of him."

He sighed, and then chuckled. "That's all you need to know, this isn't school, and I'm getting carried away. Is just that there are so many things involved with this...is your brain fine?"

It wasn't like Demyx really had a choice first. Fight Sora, he dies, doesn't at least fight Sora (which he did already once before this, but I'm sure the Org. accepts failure at times), dies anyway as he will be deemed a traitor by the Organization, and will be chased down, like Axel had. He had his orders, written even on paper. Demyx used the stone so he could use his powers at the beginning in the Underworld, but once that was done, he gave it back by putting it on the floor (Sora didn't have to snatched it away from him). That's all he ever did, other than give Sora a minor fight, steal the Olympus Stone. The second time, you find Demyx just standing there, and of course, Sora takes his weapon as someone smart would've done so. You see Demyx is like whoa, then just says a greeting, and I'm not going to repeat the dialogue and why. Sora egged him on, Demyx had to make a decision (you could see him acting on it), and then begins to fight in the end.

Demyx could've done something then run away or surrender, but really, it was upon stakes, and Sora was just running his mouth off, saying they don't have hearts and feelings. He could've taken it easy, that was unneeded, and the battle could have been avoided. I think those words really hit Demyx on the fact that he didn't have a heart, and just said to himself, "Fine, screw it".

The thing with Roxas, is that he doesn't go at it like Sora did, kill without a care (it wasn't until he saw Saix, perhaps Axel, that he finally got into his brain of what the Nobodies were about,, and how they felt on the matter, all the time following someone's opinion on them, instead of his own. Flawed, but immensely annoying, and he wasn't justified in doing so, unless they provoked him to fight and left no other alternative) I do not think that Roxas would've done what Sora had done, despite his brutality and short-tempered personality. The only times he had ever attacked directly was Diz, which was right for him, because his whole existence, friends, anything of Twilight Town was completely fake, he was used, only to be disposed of and go back into Sora. He was angry, he was hurt, and he took it out on the computer which was the main point of his living a lie. That's another reason completely from what you said for Sora.

As for him attacking Sora himself, I think it was more of a test, wanting to take back some of his life and existence, and he gave when he was defeated, taking his fate as it is. If Roxas was in Sora's place at the time of Demyx, he'll listen out a bit first and take his own conclusion on what to do, and analyzes, because he is much more perceptive in that matter. Is the same way of what Roxas did with Axel, the redhead outright attacked him, yet he took time to see what he was saying, and rate him his own way. Keep in mind that Roxas was frustrated and confused with everything by that time, yet he hesitated from outwardly charging until they showed him there was nothing to talk about.

And I also don't understand what was the Organization, "ruining the worlds". Sure, people like Luxord and Xaldin were wrecking havoc, but what the Org. did was collect the Heartless' hearts, like simply defeating them, and it's going to the moon-shape KH. There was nothing wong with that, the worlds were fine, nothing was out of place. That was all Riku could say, "You're messing up our worlds."

    .....

    How?

Xemnas didn't respond to that very correctly, but I think he was at the point that he simply didn't care anymore, not that he ever did, so his answer was more like a "maybe". Unless the real threat was the fact that Xemnas might gain power from it after they get their hearts, but that's another case completely, and it doesn't rest on the Organization itself, but its leader.

"We get them from Heartless, remember, that they have hearts inside. Once they are released and the Heartless destroyed, the hearts automatically come to our own Kingdom Hearts, which looks like a moon-shaped heart back at home," Axel explained smoothly, trying to keep it simple for Shigiku, yet not stopping from shifting to see if there was anyone else. Maybe he went the wrong way? Not to mention, he had to see for a new cabin, but he decided to go to the main desk, which he knew would be empty due to the attack, and he could just get a new card key. Sighing, tracing the necklace with his free hand, he stared down at her brightly. "Anything else?"

Letting Shigiku think it over, with their stuff ready, and his new necklace, he grabbed her hand, a bit hard, since she was carrying the toys, and began to lead her out of the room, turning off the lights as he reached the broken wood of was once a door. As he went outside, he wondered where to head first, until he just decided to go right where he last saw everyone else before. Now, to find and see what the rest are doing, and the ship. Staring down at Shigiku, he eyed the doll for a minute, blue eyes red colored string hair...reminded him of something, especially that they were now in the sea, but it was up to her to name it. "I know you're thinking of a name, but do you have any questions left? Open your mind to me, Shi, I'll answer anything that confuses you..."

They kept walking, Axel now trying to see if he could spot anyone familiar.

OOC: Nymph actually posted about Larxene in Zexion's room by...Zexion, who "smelled" her there.

"I'll stop then, just making a point," Axel chuckled as well, feeling slightly more better now that the conversation was heading elsewhere, though he was still miffed about Max's constant secrecy and little comments. Still, he had more important things in mind he wanted to learn about, and that was was Roxas saying something about Larxene in the meeting room. It must've been before he had went to the apartment, and when the meeting ended, because he hadn't seen her...and he wanted to talk with her for a bit. "You were saying something about the meeting and Larxene, Roxas? What is it that she did? I left for my suppose room when it all ended..."

Roxas perked up at the mention, staring at Axel with wide and confident eyes, as if he was gong to like what he said. "Well, after that, Xemnas ordered Saix to inform the ones who weren't here about the news. He called Larxene, the only one not present by his Berserker Nobodies, and she came. When they told her about you being replaced, she was really furious, telling off Xemnas and Saix, harsh. Of course, our Superior was calm, but she raised her voice and still disrespected, calling that wrong, and that she won't ever accept Xangel. The best part was at the end, where she threw a kunai to Saix's face, and just left, not bothering to see if it hit or not. She aimed right, but Saix dodged, unfortunately..." His expression turned grim, his eyebrows creasing, and his eyes narrowing as he thought over the Luna Diviner. "Larxene and I share a mutual hatred for him, it seems...he's the one that killed you...so horribly...geez Axel, you should've seen the blood you were spilling, it was turning into a pool..."

Axel followed her example, and stood up as well, fixing his trench coat, as he turned around to put back the velvet in the box, along with the note, and closing the lid, wanting to keep it as well. Grabbing it, he passed Shigiku silently, and placed it in the a space in the corner of his suicase, that was still opened, all the things packed, just in case something emergency inducing happened. Closing his baggage, he left it on the bed, and eyed the Pumpkin in front of him, giving her a grin, as he had spotted her stuffed toys. "Are you going to take the bunny and doll with you? By the way, do you have a name for her yet? I haven't heard it..."

Shigiku's stuff was packed as well, and looking at the broken down door, and his ruined room, he had to leave the suitcases here until they find another cabin. Not that it mattered, half or more of the people were gone...

Roxas snorted a bit in a chuckle at Axel's annoyance, before a certain thing that he had been wanting to know truthfully came back to his mind, what Reixa had told him. While he did kind of believed it, he wanted to hear it from Axel himself to really know that was what he thought of him, especially now that they had to catch up. Keeping silence for a little while, he then questioned, making eye contact with him, "You know...Reixa, mentioned something about a dream that had you, and to send a message to stop being a dumba**, that what I did was loyalty enough-"

"Ah, that," Axel sighed peacefully, thinking back to his thoughts about the memory of that experience, still only aBle to remember the important things that went on. Roxas wanted confirmation, so he'll give it to him. "She wasn't lying to you, it was true. When I woke up first, I barely remembered it and wondered if it ever truly happened, but as I kept going and thinking, the images began to pop up. Though the Axel that Reixa dreamt of wasn't me...it was more of the Axel she wanted. Call it a connection of conciousness, but I sometimes broke through that Axel...speaking and disrupting. Trust me, I didn't know you were feeling at fault for not protecting me right enough, but the Axel could dig into Reixa's memories, and it came to me automatically of you being upset over it, Reixa there with you, and so...I had...I had to say something to snap you out of it...even if it was from my mind. I also send something to Larxene, which I witnessed Reixa tell her from the moniters...it was weird, I have to admit...I guess is because I wasn't really dead and I had my conscious still..."

Roxas nodded, drowning everything he was saying, and felt relieved it wasn't a lie, like he didn't expect from her, and now that lingering doubt inside him vanished. However, the guilt was still there, he just kept thinking that if he was there to stop it, not that Axel isn't dead anymore, but...he wouldn't be stuck here, and in debt to Max. Looking down sadly, and ashamed, he tried to say, "I'm sorry. I know I could've done better...I fell asleep, but when woke up I found myself in my room, like someone put me there, and-"

Axel interrupted him again, looking over him with a grateful and appreciative expression on his face, brightened that he couldn't have a better best friend, and that Roxas did enough. "It doesn't matter. You stayed up, protected me from Zexion, guarded me all the time after while you were tired, and I couldn't ask for a better show of loyalty...and friendship. Is not your fault, things happen, and that's how it is. Don't keep blaming yourself, or my chakrams will speak for me to get more sense into you, and we'll both be under gravity again...I'm so thankful, Roxas...really."

He gave the kid a weak noogie with his fist, ruffling his blond hair, which just made Roxas take his hand away, annoyed, though he was smiling. "You're a amazing friend, and don't ever think differently. Everything you do, means something, because you're like my brother...

"Okay, now you're overdoing it," Roxas laughed, though elated more now that Axel didn't place him on a pedestal or thought wrongly of him, and instead, appreciated it. The regret and guilt disappeared just as quickly, and he felt free...from that burden. It wasn't the same hearing it from the person himself, than someone else.

Axel smiled a true one when Shigiku went to hug him again, and he returned it, wanting a bit more of a comforting affection. Hearing her question, he hesitated, before saying quietly, "She might...if she can get heart back..."

Staying there in the embrace, he thought over humorously how Angel was saying she'll simply get him a water bottle for a present, but that memory was more bittersweet now, and the only thing he had truly left of her was the necklace, because Xengla wasn't Angel, he could tell that much, and he didn't know how he will react to her. Letting out a sigh, he let the little girl free, thinking they should start leaving, of course, with the packages staying here. "We should be going now and see what's happening. Ready?"

Axel just stayed quiet as he slid down the wall he was leaning on this whole time, and sat on the floor, tired, letting out a exasperated breath. He heard Roxas's footsteps come over, only for the blond to sit on the ground right next to him, not that they had anything else to do anyway. He wanted to get out of here so badly now, he almost felt like Zexion didn't matter anymore, and whether this was all really worth it. Whatever it was, he wanted to change the topic on Max. Closing his eyes as he tried to relax, he asnwered to Roxas's question, "Positive? Other than the fact that he saved my life, and I still owe him, the only thing he ever did that was considered 'nice' after was letting me use his moniters, use Wiggles to get my clothes, and get me a apartment...a fruity one. That's where things started to end..."

"Is the apartment really that bad?" Roxas asked, looking over at him sideways in a odd stare, wondering if he was exaggerating over this.

    "Think of...Barbie meets Tarzan."

Roxas winced, his face grimacing at the thought he tried to imagine in his head. Was that even possible? Was that where they were going to sleep? Other than curiousity to see what is in that building and all, considering how it sounded, he wasn't looking forward to it, and he proclaimed right off, "I'm not staying there."

"That makes two of us," Axel gnarled disdainfully.

"Then tell me, when hasn't Zexion been the only threat and when did it change?" Axel nastily remarked behind him, but more to himself than anything. It was just like Max, call them idiots, when it was him who's keeping his own secrets, and won't expand on what the hell he was talking about, but keep being enigmatic about the whole crap. They can guess, they could hypothesize, they can "read between the lines", but they aren't freaking mind readers, and he doesn't bother to share, so he should keep his degrading comments to himself and see what he hadn't done to give in the matter. Unless, of course, is all part of his schemes that he enjoys controlling people with, yet even if there migh tbe disagreements, there was a thing call compromising. Max and him were a team now, and as a team, they have to work together, and that meant for him to give his own portion.

Then again, they are failing miserably in that department anyway, so that's going to hell.

What was it? That mysterious, over-powerful May girl that is such a threat? If that was the problem, then say it. As far as he knows, Zexion was their target, not someone who has to annoyingly meddle, if that was the case. There's a change, he should know, that way, he'll be more cautious of his actions. Axel even had a inkling hunch that the warning that Max gave him about bringing Roxas here had to do with that girl, but what was confusing, if it was provoking, why did Max allow it? He should've said no, and explain a bit why, and he would've understood.

Grumbling to himself in irritation, almost wanting to hurtle a chakram to Max's back, he sharply in a snapped his eyes to Roxas, frowning. "What did I tell you?"

Roxas just eyed him calmly, having watched the exchange quietly, but had formed his own opinion on the matter. "What you haven't told me is how you two even worked together to make a plan? There's more to a duo than simply having the same goal when it came down to what you're both undertaking, there's connection. You guys don't have that connnection." There was no way of going home if Max didn't redo the portalling again, so it wasn't like he had a choice in the matter, but the good thing was that he'll be spending it with Axel. He only vaguely wondered what would the higher ups think about this, like Xemnas, that he had disappeared for this one day. Not only that, but Axel mentioned Zexion as their target, yet it didn't seem he cared about giving that information to him, or else Roxas knew he would've chosen other words. Infinite trust.

    That made him smile.

Looking at where Max left as if studying it, he went back to glance at Axel. "I can tell you two don't trust each other, and that's bad when concerning scheming with another person."

"I hate when you turn all insightful on me," Axel griped, sending Roxas a bored and unimpressive look, but sometimes the kid went deep in matters, that it almost surprised him, after all, he was only a teenager, on the age of 15. "Is not entirely my fault, I have nothing to hide, yet he does. Maybe if he stops keeping to himself for once, I might actually trust him the way I need to. I was even getting close to telling him about the, um, places of the castle, and was debating whether giving him the information, and some, because he told me bits of May, but he just blew me off that idea completely. If it was up to me, I would've ended this, and just go back to Larxene like I desperately want to, and...just go back...that's why I sent for you, getting tired of being here...I can't wait til' this ends..."

"Maybe if you think of the positive things he's done for you can help?" Roxas tried, as he saw Axel go to one of his angst moments that they both partake in, and one of their similarities. Though, for the redhead, it only happened when he was too stress or it affects him personally, as he was much strong and proud in personality otherwise.

OOC: Is fine if you're not on, you already explained the situation, is understandable :). But you didn't miss a lot, Axel and Max tension are running high, getting on each other's nerves, until the redhead couldn't stand it anymore and almost trashed the plan and wanted to leave, but Max didn't let him. In the end, if Axel was going to be stuck here, Max won't be the one he will talk to, and asked to bring Roxas.

Max did so (simply grabbed him without wasting time explaining, and threw him through a portal)and Roxas after getting there, of course, thought it was a trick that Axel was alive, but after explaining and Axel proving that it truly is him, the blond goes all keyblades on him since he was alive this whole time, while they mourned for him, but Max put a stop to it by raising the gravity high, which added weight, and they feel to the ground. In the end, Roxas calmed, and now...they're just talking, and how Max can't let Roxas leave until further notice. As for the reply when you come back --

    BIC:
"I don't think there's any reason for Roxas to stay a day or so here, even though I would like him to. I never expected him to sleep over, it was to see him again, and for his company...which I miss alot. If Zexion approaches him, he could simply tell that he had been to see you, because the Schemer isn't easy to fool, bur for whatever it was, will remain disclosed. And I'm sure Roxas would be careful with what he drinks and what would be around him," Axel replied, disagreeing in this fully. He eyed Roxas, who simply nodded at him that he was fine with what he was saying, before rounding up on Max again. "I only wanted Roxas here for awhile, to have my best friend to talk to, not keep him...I'm stuck with you, and this place it's...lonely"

    And I hate being lonely...

Of course, he would never say this outloud, so he just remained calmly staring at Max to see what he had to say.

    OOC: Goodnight then ^^;.

Axel didn't know how long he remained in the hug he had given, he just needed to express what he was experiencing, and Shigiku was the perfect little girl for it. After a while, he pulled away slightly, placing his forehead against her, somehow feeling much better now that he had let that out...made him feel less trapped, despite that he was still upset. Fluttering his eyes open, he breathed deeply, before running a hand through her hair, and letting the little girl free completely as he sighed. Thinking that Shigiku might be wondering what was wrong, he gazed at her, a bit weakly and dismal, but he was ready enough to say it now. "I also want to tell you that...Shi, I forgot, Angel...she...she lost her heart to a Heartless. And she's a human form Nobody now..."

As he mentioned this, his stomach coiled into this resentment for this Xengla, but it didn't faze him.

Axel felt the cool surface of the necklace around as he heard the little click as Shigiku backed off after she was done, and for a while looked down, the same bittersweet expression on his face, fingering the emblem, wondering why she thought he wouldn't ever like it, since it was cool. Since it was a boy necklace, it only ended up until about his collarbone, the emblem touching the cloth of the trench coat just slightly. Brushing Shigiku's question off, though he did promise he wouldn't lie, he just didn't feel like talking about it now, he went to wrap her arm tight around her depressingly, hiding his face into the side of her hair, closing his eyes as the ache inside him grew. Perhaps Angel can come back with the chance that they got a heart, but can you really return to normal that way?

OOC: I wish Axel did have a necklace in the game xP, it would've been cool.

Doesn't mean that she wouldn't be able to, it doesn't have to be Asuka's voice (she's younger, and unstable, not sadistic or evil) Tiffany seems diverse, and if she can get the evilness in Larxene, I'm there.

OOC: Lol xD, where in the world is Namine? Ah, Axel has to tell her she's a Nobody too...and Angel now, or Xengla.

Axel took Shigiku's silence as a chance to open the letter with his hands, putting the necklace gently on Shigiku's lap, in one of her thighs, before his eyes went to the note, in Angel's familiar hand writing, and began to read quietly. He had to give a smile around the beginning, and he didn't know why she thought he wouldn't like the necklace, but as he kept taking in the words, a sort of seeming sadness filled him, wistful, like her essence was protruding from the paper. This was meant to be given to him on Valentine's Day, yet she could've gave it the day after or before, it wouldn't matter.

    Love,
    Angel

And that was the end, but he really 'felt' more upset than he ever did when he found out she turned into a Nobody, and this was like a last piece of her before the Heartless got her, he could feel it the effect coming to his face, and more upwards to his eyes, to which he blinked and folded back the note normally, putting it in the bed along with the box and velvet cushion. Forcing a weak smile on his face, his hand went back to grab the necklace, staring at it sadly for a moment, before turning his head sideways to look at Shigiku, opening the clasp so he can put it on, as he said in a croak, despite the medicine healing his voice from before. "Would you do the honors?"

"Wiggles?" Roxas repeated, looking at one of the Moogles who was jumping excitedly, who had a big pink, round nose, with a red ball held on by some string to is head, white body, small ears, and pudgy legs and arms. But it wasn't like he could tell which one was which, they all looked like stuffed toys. Who would even name a Moogle in the first place? Ignoring this, he walked closer to the moniters, listening to what Max was saying. He had kind of expected this, and it wasn't a problem since he had a lot to tell Axel, but how long will this "okay" take? Paying his attention to the receptors as he sighed, he could see the many halls and corners of their castle, he even spotted Xemnas and Saix in the Altar Of Naught. This is how..."Why are there Moogles here anyway? I thought you only used them for exchanging items?"

Axel shrugged, following Roxas in step as he also went to check out the screens. He didn't bother checking the Throne Room, knowing it was empty, but as he peered on each, he saw his Superiors talking, Zexion himself, who seemed to be butting with a intruder...really didn't care or wanted to see him, but Larxene wasn't in her room. Where was she? "I don't know about the Moogles, they're just here. Ask Max about it, he's the one who has them as pets...kupo. I have to admit though...I don't know whether it was because he got my stuff, but...I'm fond of...well...Wiggles. They're all...nice...though..." He didn't want to talk about them anymore, even if he noticed Wiggles's little cheer. Glancing at Max, he asked what Roxas had in mind, "How long will Roxas be able to stay here?"

He knew that it was in the package that Roxas couldn't exactly stay, but he'll make the best of it. Hopefully, it won't take that long to get the plan underway.

    OOC: Alright then, see ya...T^T

And the toilet paper...that's the Axel way of saying is the thought that counts xD.

Axel almost dropped the jewelry box in complete surprise at the question, not expecting that of all things to come out of Shigiku's mouth. Where did that question even come from? However, he was even more shock to be thinking over whether he did or not, but he knew it was platonic. She did mean a lot to him, but no in the way of someone to love...love, he did say before she wasn't exactly his type. Getting his eyes away from the box for the moment, still in thought, he stared at Shigiku, though his expression was blank, "Well...yes, I do. As my friend. I think it was the same way for her too...though I'm not certain...besides, I'm a Nobody, no emotions, remember? While I did say I love you like a father, and I meant it as if I had a heart, and it was real to me...it really isn't there...there, is like a echo, if you can understand...."

Wanting to get away from the conversation, he went to gaze at the box again, and with his arms still around Shigiku, opened the lid with his hands that were in front of her, only to be bewildered a third time in the past short minutes. There, laid in crimson, shining velvet, almost as if purposely, was a bright and glimmering silverand gold boy necklace, intricately made smoothly with tints of red, and there attatched, was a fireball emblem. A little overwhelmed, as he was predicting something less extravagant, he carefully went to get it out, taking the jewelry as it parted with the velvet, only for a white, folded paper to fall to the floor, but Axel snatched it in mid-air in fast reflexes, making Shigiku be softly pushed front. Placing the box and velvet in the bed, he had the necklace and note in his hands.

    OOC: Aw, that sucks :/.

"Good, because Axel is who I am now," Axel replied with a grim nod, though his lips weren't smiling, and his eyes were gazing at the wall in a distant way. At that moment, it was quiet, before he finally turned his head away, only to search for something. Finding the jewelry box, he made a snatch for it, thinking it was a good time to open it now, and see what Angel got for him. He could feel that ache inside him again from before, because he was aware Xengla wasn't the friend he knew anymore, and that there wasn't a difference whether she died or got her heart taken, she was gone, only a remnant of who she was. That thought almost made him hesitate as he eyed it, but whatever was in there, it will be precious anyway, no matter if it was simply toilet paper or jewelry. Not staring at Shigiku, he asked, "So...any question you want to say to me? I know you're wondering..."

"You know, you're being very quiet..." Axel said, stating the obvious, before he shook his head, and heaved a sigh. She was probably still lost on this whole matter, or maybe she was upset about hearing it, who knows, it wasn't like he could read minds, but he wanted to cheer her up again. Scratching his head with his hand, he then eyed her, waiting for him to tell her, before simply leaning down to her ear, and whispering it. It wasn't like he was apprehensive for anybody to hear him, is that saying it outloud to himself will remind him too much of what he used to be...he is, but isn't the same person.

Chuckling a little, he rolled his eyes, "See? Is not 'Salean'. I should burn whoever came up with that..."
