My name is cut off. :c
Completely relevant to nowadays. It also reminds me of another story I read in Philosophy (fictional, of course... supposedly). There is this Utopian village filled with fully satisfied people who don't have any issues, problems whatsoever during their stay. However, in exchange for these some-hundred people being completely happy, only one person out of the entire village must suffer. He is fed very little food, he is not clothed properly, he cannot see the light of day, etc. But when this interviewer asked if he should go outside and not suck up to his situation, he merely stated something along the lines of "If this is my purpose, then I have no right to question that." The people of the village either don't realize about this one person or know very little of him. The interviewer tried to explain otherwise, but the people never believed him.
Yeah, that's about 50% of the fanbase right now, including me, I guess. There's nothing we can do about it other than... not using it. I also cannot take Lightning seriously anymore what with her wearing these characters' costumes who were of completely different personalities and attributes. Certainly they are just costumes and have little to no real effect in combat, but knowing the characters who wore them creates a strange juxtaposition. I see this being compared to Dresspheres from Final Fantasy X-2, which was also directed by Motomu Toriyama and his undying love to dress up girls. Of course, the battle system for FFX-2 turned out to be very solid, but knowing that they'll keep a very similar system for Lightning Returns, this will seem just as much an afterthought as the monster-hunter/creator thing in XIII-2.

All die Killer: the writers
'Tis a symptom of becoming a Brony...
The hardest part of going to cons is making sure you have friends to go wiff you. So much money :c
Nothing's more destroying of your day then getting any kind of cut on your finger. D:
Still waiting for the day they get an Asian Red Ranger.
YEAH, GO WHITES! WE ARE THE SUPERIOR COLOR! ...obligatory "sounds racist" statement here...
I believe he's called Toooooooooon Link. But yaay, little surprising that they would choose a secret character, but I guess it's to sort of coincide with the Wind Waker Remake. Wishful thinking for Zelda/Tetra : D
Kinda also going with a philosophical approach here and saying that people begin as a blank slate and then choices make up their life. The closest philosophy I can think of is Sartre's atheistic existentialism whereas you can choose whatever you do but you must take the responsibility and consequence and only you are to blame for it. There's even choosing not to choose, in which case Sartre describes as a being "rock." Being stepped on, tossed around, etc, without any response or reaction whatsoever. There is really no good or evil part, since Sartre was an atheist anyway lol. There is no God to say what is good, what is limited, etc. I, personally, am agnostic, so I kind of don't agree with this, since I believe there has to be some ultimatum to at least give us structure in our lives. But the freedom of choice to make what you are and what you will face is what I am in tune with.
Yeah, I'd say backtracking and looking up wikias are your best bet. But I think there is a trophy to indicate you have opened all the chests...?
Yeah, that's sometimes my typical con story. I remember being asked if I was Asian and the guy took immediate stalker-ish interest in me. In those situations, you just have to let it pass and tell a staffer. It may seem awkward and offensive, but you'd be surprise by the amount of people that do ask and say stuff like that at cons, especially toward female cosplayers and whatnot. Like I tell them that I am not currently interested or lie and say I have a boyfriend and they become turned off or whatever. Like lol, just because I'm in cosplay of your favorite character or whatever doesn't mean I'll instantly be your friend/girlfriend. Although it was a good thing you had a friend there, because sometimes I get stuck alone while my guy friends are off to another panel and then suddenly I'm approached. But overall, yeah, people just assume and judge and most times we really can't change that. It's something I hope will disappear in the future, but with cosplay being a tricky subject nowadays (*coughHeroesofCosplaycough*), it's something that will take a long time to fix.
>All Male Cast >Wearing all black >Emphasis on Action over RPG-ness Yeeeeahh the prospects, for me at least, are not going in a rather favorable direction for le Final Fantasy XV. Sure, their "fantasy based on reality" theme is present... but I look at reality and I don't see most people wear black all the time jussayin But whatevs, it's kinda fortunate and sad at the same time that KH3 will take a while. Finishing up college, getting a career, etc, will hopefully distract me from waiting. I just hope that I don't lose much interest...
beautiful story...
It's really a Catch-22 for me. If I have them not using healing items/magic more frequently and I always happen to be low on MP and that, then I can't get healed fast enough. Obviously is becomes more manageable when we have higher stats, but being on 0 EXP mode, it's like DDDD:
Since the shows I usually watch air during convention season, I tend to do cosplay stuff like sew or paint or construct. I've always had a habit of gorging down all the food before the show/movie even begins, so food is never an option at my house lol.
I like children. Sure, they may be bratty or completely spoiled. Or they may be extremely well behaved and pretty aware of their surroundings. It's not something simple to think about when you have children, especially in times where society has progressed technology that creates pro-life or pro-choice, as well as more and more complicated financial situations and issues. I think it's one of the bravest things in the world to go into parenthood. And it just takes a lot of strength and perseverance to make a family work out. However, just being aware of the consequences and responsibilities isn't enough to be ready for it. You just have to be a parent in order to understand what being a parent is like. Not saying everyone should be a parent, but I guess we are either meant for it or not.
I watch you fast asleep All I fear means nothing
