You didn't counter with anything yet, that should apply some physiological pressure on him, reducing his Focus and increasing your chances even...
Terra/Aqua/Ventus. Because, when you use Trinity Limit, something that resembles a 6-sided star or whatever appears on the ground, the character you are stays still for a while and it's element appears on the other side of the star(Earth, Water or Wind) then after a few seconds the circle button and a bar appear on the screen, time it right and you unleash Trinity Limit. While that time isn't over, another players with the characters corresponding with the missing elements can join in the star/circle/whatever to make it stronger, and now it's confirmed the AIs can do that too.

Yeah, i've watched it since i was addicted as hell to the games XD Loved that it goes straight to action instead of doing like some others and spending most time of the episode talking, having 2 mins of fight, then filler barrage after *coughnarutocough*
Ven will come back for sure (Aqua said herself she would wake him up, she just didn't because she got trapped in that place, and Sora's off to the rescue already), same goes for Aqua(Duh) and Terra(Which will probably return as Xehanort, but then Aqua, Ven and Sora will pull off something that makes him split, as usual >_>). Axel most likely will come back too, maybe even as a kid, and we might see something about Xion, Naminé or Roxas(Though Ven might wake up with his memories and all to avoid character duplicates >_>).
