Saix? Just steal his berserker a lot. I hardly remember that battle; one of the ones I didn't keep a save for becuase I didn't find it too challenging or entertaing. As for Xaldin, just make sure that you have donald and goofy there to heal, and have cure in your shortcut menu. Lots of potions and elixers will do you well. Run to the gates when he does his dragon attack; he can't kill you there. If all else fails, tell your sister her game is not your problem XD
