Nope. Dimension fusion works for both of us, therefore i still had cards in the field, and i did stay with 1 card in my hand after my turn. Also, imperial works while it's on the field, by the time the discard effect happened it wasn't on the field.

I know that, but i thought it's effect still'd apply to cards played after the chain resolves. In that case, i chain into your other facedown:
"That dude will totally pull a out Heel Face Turn agaisnt me in the end" Turns out he actually did it, twice.
Probably you don't know but, since you started the chain, Giant Trunade effect resolves making all your traps and spells go to your hand, but i'm gonna wait till someone confirms that to keep going.
