I also happen to be quite skeptical of movies made from video games nowadays, but I feel that if it's an animated adaptation, then I'll have a little more faith. With that being said, omgimexcite.

Really? I've heard of that statistic. I mean, I guess where I live it might not seem that way. But still, if that's true, I guess having all these precautions isn't working as well as it should. :x
Getting a license in Maryland is like trying getting a 2400 on the SAT's. Seriously, you have to take at least 4 weeks of Driver's Ed lessons and pass all of the tests with at least an 80%. Then you have to pass another test at the MVA to get your permit (getting at least 17/20). Then you have to practice driving with your parents for at least 60 hours with a permit for at least 6 months. Then you take the official test to get your license at the MVA. I'm sure there are ways to sort of bypass some of the requirements, but by god, it's so overwhelming to even get a permit.

I did get the chance to look up the cast and I see that they are going for a more diverse cast (Ming-Na and Chloe Bennet). Personally, I'm lovin' the Asian-Representation, although not sure if they intended that anyway hehe. Regardless, I'm darn excited and glad that we can trust Joss Whedon to do the magic. c:
