Oh c'mon, I hear they're gonna make this crossover game with Disney characters and Final Fantasy characters and sh*t and it's gonna be the most stupidest game ever. I mean really, Mickey Mouse and Squall? Pfffffffffffft.
Well, think about it. I think this goes even beyond video games. If the cinematography of a movie is beautiful, then people will want to see it more and the movie will get better critical acclaim for it. If the graphics are beautiful, then people will want to play it more and thus the game will get better critical acclaim. For instance, Journey a just plain gorgeous. However, the gameplay and story by itself severely lacks without the accompanying graphics. God forbid, the Call of Duty games get high scores because the visuals are so realistic and smooth. Seeing is believing. We make first judgements based on what we first see, right? Like trailers, commercials, and those things. The first thing a reviewer will notice (even though they don't write about it first) is what is visually appealing and how that will affect their time with the rest of the aspects of a game. Granted, this is not true for every game, depending on what the advertisers try to get across to the audience. But for most, I think it's true. Another example would be Final Fantasy XIII for me. I was visually pleased with most of the character designs, environments, and animations which lead me to believe it was going to be a very pleasing experience for the rest of the game. Even though it gradually went downhill throughout the game in terms of story pacing and gameplay, FFXIII got higher scores than it should because the graphics were close to flawless and helped keep up its sales from its commercials, trailers, and other advertisements.
Hot damn, that was a great one. My favorite would have to be the Rock-It at Universal Studios. Friggen' 90 degree turn parallel from the ground.
Seriously tho, those smiley fries were the sh*t. Probably one of the only few things I miss about High School...
I love roller coasters. Strangely, it has helped me overcome my fear of heights when I was a kid.
Yeah, what I meant was Slade Wilson/Deathstroke is going to be a main antagonist based on what I see on the GameInformer cover photo. I assumed it was Black Mask since I skimmed the summary in the topic post but now realized it kinda didn't look like him at all. I haven't watched Arrow or Crisis on Two Earths so I didn't really know that he had a separate name entity for him as just Slade Wilson. Sorry if me using the names interchangeably confused you. .__.;
I ate Taco Bell today for the first time in a couple of years. My digestive system is gonna hate me later.
Yeah, I knew all that lol. I was introduced to his character through the TV show and then took up the comics, so forgive me if I used his more "kid-friendlier" name. From the glance at the cover, I just immediately thought of him. Oh but now that I actually inspect the cover, I guess it is Deathstroke there, isn't it? Ack, I'm afraid I'm not good at picking out the characters as well in newer designs. .-.
Oh man, I thought that was Slade for a second. :c But yaaay for another one. Kinda disappointed that it's a prequel rather than a sequel, but alas I shall get my hands on a demo very soon.
Ugh, my coffee tastes like water. I ain't gettin' through this all-nighter that easy...
Bejeweled. Holy sh*t.
I am surrounded by 11 males in my house. I don't know if I could take the testosterone levels any longer. Water supplies are running low. The bill for food continues to increase. It is Brawl Match #34535 and they are still playing it through the night. This may be my last post. If anyone sees this message, don't forget to invite lady friends for parties. I can see the light fading away......................
I would be Kira Light Yagami. You can definitely trust me... withyournameandpictureofyourself.
EDIT: Oh f*** me. It's supposed to say ROGER instead of ROBERT in the title. My apologies. D: http://www.suntimes.com/news/metro/17320958-418/roger-ebert-dies-at-70-after-battle-with-cancer.html It's a sad day for Movie Fans, Critics, and Goers alike, as one of the industry's most profound reviewers passes away today. Whether or not you agreed with his opinions, this man was truly a fighter when it came to defending his side of the argument and his health. One of my favorite reviews of his was Pokemon: The First Movie. Ebert knows what's up and totally outshines the lady reviewer lol.
You probably... definitely would not want to know.
Then again, Kim Jong Un was the one who requested Dennis Rodman to be the US Representative...
First day of bussing tables, I drop ten forks. My life has no meaning. D;
I'm motherf*cking Link. I'm here to kick ass and drink Lon Lon Milk. And I've already drank mah milk.
I don't think we should blame Teen Titans Go! for the cancellation of Young Justice. It's mainly the higher-ups at Cartoon Network who are not listening to the fans and ignoring the true demographics for the show (I mean, I don't think me and 20 of my other friends who watch the show are 6-11 year old boys).
