Spoiler On a serious note, I'm agnostic.
Give her a bath, then?
At least I'm doing a winter class I enjoy. And yet, I'm still hoping for a snow day or two.
Can't we just agree that all parts of Australia are just friggen crazy?
Ugh, milk soooooo does go better with hot chocolate mix than water. And I'm all out of milk. D:
Aww yeah... I'm like Switzerland.
Welp, better get the gasoline...
I would just say that whoever did make that poster put a lot of effort into it, so kudos to them. Now I wanna watch The Avengers. In Spanish. Or in German.
Now, if you are really rushing that essay... Especially the climax part. I would also suggest classical music, if you wouldn't mind it. Modern pop, rock, and the like would only get me distracted. .~.
Because the recent version of Les Miserables was decent and Cosette is an adorable package of cuteness. <3 As for my siggy, it's from an Artist named Yoshimi Ohtani and she does stunning artwork for almost anything really. <3 <3
WHERE? D:
I suppose Al Gore is our new Mayan Calendar.
That's why I said, "But, eh."
I felt the pace was decent. Granted, the original musical felt somewhat dragging at certain solo parts as well, but at least they had the cuts in the movie. Although, I agree that maybe they might have had held the steady cam for too long at parts. >> Also, there's a thread in the Movies Section. But eh.
Banned because you're not Liam Neeson.
Drink plenty of fluids, lie down and rest for the day.~ Then again, I'm not a doctor...
Guys, stop fighting. Remember what we learned...
Thank you! I was going to say to have the butterfly face the other way, but I like it like this anyway. c: Actually, can you make it smaller? Say about 420x240?
Yeah, the original musical was like that, being sung-through and all. I'm just glad they didn't belt out and go super-operatic at some parts in the likeness of the stage production. Overall, the movie was a different take for me in terms of the structure of the musical (i.e., putting the songs in different order), but it was a good kind of different. It flowed nicely and I think the pace was decent enough to grab your attention throughout each of the solo songs. I loved, loved how they sang live though. I somewhat have a problem with lip-syncing in movies, especially in musical movies, but singing live adds a certain level of genuineness to the whole thing. Being the sap that I am, my favorite parts were "I Dreamed a Dream" and "Empty Chairs at Empty Tables." Cried rivers during those moments. ;-; If I had to nitpick on some things about the movie, it was probably Russel Crowe's singing. Some parts it was spectacular, but his rendition of "Stars" and even during the "Confrontation" seemed like he was trying too hard or something. Also Eponine's role was cut a bit too short for me, but that's probably because she's my favorite character. But then again, if you have seen the musical production on stage, you kind of have to have a beginner's mind when you walk into this movie. For the amount of changes in order and direction that this movie takes, it's going to be separate from what you'd expect from the musical. And I'm glad that they did it this way from a cinematic standpoint as opposed to a musical theatre standpoint. But overall, mostly fulfilled my expectations and even had some surprise favorites for the casting, such as the boy who played Gavroche. Just so adorably cunning <3
People are just looking for more reasons to hate on Justin Bieber. Yeah, some of the time he doesn't even know what he's saying, but I didn't think his statement was that racist either. He just probably didn't use a PC term for having aboriginal heritage.
