Not really,at least not in LV1,if you drive,it will end the loop,and even if you start again,Zantetsuken will give him time to counter you once you use it.
Does the Command menu stays blue on battle? If so,then you're using Razor/Soraoscuro code,just take it out and it will go back to normal.
It would be better to atatck him right afetr he recoils for the first time. Anyway,isn't this spam?

Are you sure? You must be searching for the adress that mods the character,search for it's digit(like,54 for Sora).
