I want some fab cookies.
Darkness darkness darkness darkness darkness darkness... ...is all I hear. There is an official count for how many times he's said this, right?
Dang, I remember when this was all the rage... I think I also subscribed to Deathspank... but then unsubscribed or something...
I'm thinking that this should take place even before The Avengers movie. Like, if we get to see more Phil Coulson xD I'd also like to see agents featured in the TV show to also be shown in the next series of movies. That would be really cool. But, still too early to say :x If Joss Whedon is doing all this, I'll have faith in what he has in store.
Recently for my Honors program class thing, I read The Boy Who Harnessed The Wind by William Kamkwamba. This was a required reading, so naturally our teacher spammed our inboxes about it. To be honest, it does not really live up to the hype. It talks about a boy in dreaded Africa and the miracle he gave to his village by building a working windmill with very primitive resources. But the way it's told is kinda poorly written. For him to actually build the windmill and get worldwide attention is rushed at the end. Which then leaves the rest of the book for how the famine swept his country and dragged on exposition about his family. Granted, there are a few instances where there were touching moments, but overall, I tended to zone out during my reading. The author is actually coming to our college, so there is at least some value to the reading. I personally didn't enjoy it as much I wanted to, but if you are really curious, I'd say it wouldn't hurt to check it out.
And boy everything's now new and futuristic on these forums. Anyway, I've just been pretty busy with life and things that I had to leave pretty much without notice. But since Kingdom Hearts is reaching its 10th Anniversary (at least technically Stateside), I'd figured that I might as well reconnect with some ole forums. Well, I hope at least some of you remember me. o.o [Also, just a shameless plug, but be sure to check out my tumblr and my Youtube, right down below on my signature! c: ]
I'm back, babeh.
I drive a 2012, yellow and black Camaro... Well, okay, not really. In my dreams, hah. I drive a 2006 Silver Mercury. I call it the Nintendo Gamecube, because BOTH of my brothers had hit it before and it's still in great condition. Indestructible... Unlike a Camaro, I suppose...
Oh dear, I hope by "changing the cutscenes" he doesn't mean to tweak the story. I'm hoping he means that he's gonna change the way it's going to be executed. For instance, I like how the way the story was split up into three scenarios but my guess is that the team is going to try to make it so that all three scenarios are more smoothly connected. Hmm, who knows... Anyway, thanks for putting up the interview.
Thank you so much! I've been a big fan of the first anime series when it aired on Adult Swim some years ago. But glad that they're gonna air the Brotherhood series tomorrow night. =] I haven't watched any of the Japanese dub but I'll be more anxious to see what they have done in English. Thanks again.
Yeah, they're doing the first movie based on the first season of the show. It's no surprise that they're gonna cut out some stuff from that as well. As long as they emphasize the important parts of the story, then it should be okay.
The Last Airbender Theatrical Trailer M. Night Shyamalan's new film, The Last Airbender, is set to be released July 2 of this year. You may have seen the Super Bowl Spot this past week. Well, now here's something even more exciting. Yahoo debuted the new 2 minute (well, almost two minute) theatrical release of movie. http://movies.yahoo.com/movie/1810071569/video/18070297 Looks like M. Night might pull this one off. Liking it. =] EDIT: Whoops, the above link is broken. Here's another one. http://www.movieweb.com/news/NEOUBOQX4KL8SX
Well this happened with Dissidia as well. Only, the reason why it was released so much later was because they went in and changed some parts of the battle system. They also added in content to it (extra cutscenes, new moves, etc.) Perhaps they're doing the same to Birth by Sleep? Knowing Disney, could they also be censoring the game? :x (Although, I haven't played the import yet so I'm not sure what there is to censor. >_>; ) But let's hope the game can arrive as early as possible.
I'm totally digging the epic cover. : D But too bad that I won't get it till the English release. D: Thanks for the update anyway. =]
Ah, seems interesting. My brothers have played Fallout 3 and it's always fun to watch them play it. It's pretty nifty that they now have Vegas as the game's setting, too.
I would not wish for two cokes and some chips. (Whose Line Is It Anyway? reference...)
Hey there~ =]
My Orchestra and Band exams sure need a lot of studying. :x
I guess that's probably why the game was considered linear by some. Huh. Well, I suppose some of that content will make it in for a possible International Release of XIII in Japan. The game had potential.
That was pretty cool. Personally, I thought the song wasn't really fitting for the trailer's action sequences and whatnot but it's a decent song alone. I can imagine it playing at the ending credits or something. I can see that they also altered the "lip-flaps" for the FMV scenes, so I guess there won't be more of that awkward wording during that. Of course, we can't really tell how the dialogue is going to actually be but I am having a certain hunch about it.
