The Great Gastby for English AP class. It's actually more interesting than I thought it would be. :]
When You're Evil - Voltaire Probably one of the most awesome-est songs ever.
Heh. My schedule has my worst subjects in the morning back-to-back. But at least it isn't as bad as last year's... 1: Physics GT (ew) 2: Precaculus GT (ew) 3: English 11 AP 4A: Latin III Honors (since our school's stupid, we share a class with the freshmen >:[ ) 4B: Band 5: Modern World History 6: Strings
We actually heard his English Voice from the recent E3 trailer. Couldn't tell who it was though since he only had like, one line.
http://i187.photobucket.com/albums/x305/Andres2Tiger/ff/ffxiii_aug14_scan1.jpg Here's some info about this character and this *small* scan (got this from some livejournal account) : ~ Yaag's a rival of Lightning and co. ~ He'll play a role similar to the Turks in Final Fantasy VII or Seymour in Final Fantasy X (I just knew something screamed "antagonist" when we first saw him...) ~ Odin's Gestalt form has him transforming into a horse for Lightning to mount in battle ^ Same as the Shivas and their motorcycle form, Odin has a list of commands to execute as Lightning rides him ^ Attacks include Roaring Sword, Vacuum Breaker, Crying Heaven Ten Thousand Thunder, as well as his signature Zantetsuken attack So it seems all of these summons have special modes accordingly to each of the characters.
I don't really have a "main" character that I end up always using but for the sake of story mode, I'm starting with Cloud, then doing the heroes in order of the odd numbers (likewise with my brother for the even numbers). But mainly, I'm sticking to whoever I feel like playing at that time for stuff like Quick Play or the anticipating Arcade Mode. I've played the demo and I'm equally kick-ass on every character that I have played on there, so it's fair all the way for me. :|
Btw, wasn't Toonami cancelled or something? >.>; If not, my mistake. Anyway, this is actually a hard one for me to choose. Toonami was awesome back then but like what everyone else is saying, it was degrading. However, I could say almost the same with Adult Swim. Some of the comedy shows were okay but I was young, thus usually most of the jokes and innuendos would just fly over my head, so of course I didn't get to enjoy it as much as I should. I mainly watched the Anime Block though, which was on extremely late in the night. And I didn't like that. Now in the present, I don't watch as much TV as before so I dont' catch up with what Adult Swim has to fully offer each night. And since I watched Toonami far more times than Adult Swim, I would vote for Toonami. But then again, this is from what I remember in the past, before Toonami bombed. Overall, I can't really say. :|
Pretend that you are getting Punk'd.
33158 ^*Approximately* the number of times that I've turned on my N64 (and counting).
Poppin' - UTADA
All I can say is that we will all know the truth deep down; that Michael Jackson's original "Thriller" will always be the best version. I don't don't like Miley Cyrus (because I almost never listen to her stuff to even say an opinion about her) but all I can say is: what can you do? I don't tend to listen to covers of great songs and I most likely will not be listening to this one. Again, the original is almost always better.
Despite my parent's raging on about having monthly fees and despite the fact that MMORPG's aren't my forte, I think it still looks pretty cool. I just really hope that the new battle system will be able to work out smoothly and if it does, it might just have me convincing my parents like crazy to get this game eventually.
I agree with almost everything they said. o.o=b I really do hope for more "mature" changes to the future Kingdom Hearts games but I believe that it should still have that "I'm a kid again" feeling when meeting up with Disney characters in their worlds. But perhaps since the Final Fantasy characters have more deeper persona, maybe we can stick in the mature and meaningful morals when encountering them (aka, more FF characters in bigger roles). But then again, this is Disney we are talking about; they will most likely restrain S-E from doing a lot to their movies and characters (I've heard that S-E wanted to do a crossover of some the Disney worlds but Disney rejected the idea) so we might not get some of the significant changes as to what role they would play within the next installment. So overall, yes to having a deeper, meaningful, yet playful and kid-friendly game for KH3.
The demo was really cool. I actually took the time to play through all of the characters and difficulties to feel each style of gameplay. Here's my two cents: Onion Knight: It was actually one of the easiest to manage for me because of his fast attacks, despite them being weak. I think I'll play him right after I play Cloud in story-mode. Cecil: As a Dark Knight, really hard to pull off attacks. His only ranged attack is pretty slow and overall his speed is really slow. So I always ended up turning into a Paladin and creating more speed for him. I believe I heard that Saint's Fall was nerfed but I couldn't really tell. It was also hard to actually pull off as well. In Hard Mode there were more attacks but the same problem sometimes occurred. Overall, one of the more harder characters to control. Terra: Really nice long range attacks but I feel as if Tornado was harder to pull off than the Japanese version (at least, it looked like it). But pretty easy to control, nonetheless. Cloud: Of course my favorite, Cloud was my first character to use. Although, in both modes he had very few moves to do so I was always using Braver or Cross-Slash for HP attacks. Still, it was pretty easy to break opponent's BP because of his enormous strength, which was a great advantage to defeat them. Sephiroth: Surprisingly, Sephy was both easy and hard to control. His Brave attacks were the easier ones, breaking opponent's BP with no hesitation. However, I can tell that most of his HP moves were toned down and changed. For instance, Hell's Gate as a shorter range striking down which bothered me a lot, 'specially since I kept on using the move to attack. But I admit, I think I may consider Sephiroth as one of the top characters for me to play first. The voices were better than I expected. Cecil's voice, however, sounded too much like "a heroic knight" or something along the lines of that. Otherwise, I was pleased with the demo and cannot wait for the release. Just only a month to go...
Meet Hope Estheim. He uses a boomerang for fighting. He's the kid you saw in the E3 trailer just recently. http://i187.photobucket.com/albums/x305/Andres2Tiger/ff/ffxiii_july16_scan01.jpg http://i187.photobucket.com/albums/x305/Andres2Tiger/ff/ffxiii_july16_scan02.jpg Here's some information provided by NeoGAF: ~Hope hates Snow for getting his mother involved in the battle ~There's new Monster, "Cie Corpse (Husk?)" ~The eventual fate of a l'Cie ~Vanille's weapon is a fishing rod ~Lightning's great skill, "Area Blast" ~A l'Cie becomes a Cie Corpse when there's an unclear objective and they exceed their time limit, or something like that. Discuss and all. I believe that they have to show one more main character for the line-up. Expect more info to come in the upcoming months leading up to TGS '09.
Yay. :] Gamespy have Golbez up as well. I do admit that the lines delivered sounded kinda lame and cheesy on Cecil's part but Golbez's performance was cool. Sounding good again.
...
Well, he is technically a child. >.> Anyway, Gametrailers also posted up a gameplay montage of every character (minus the Gods). The BGM was too loud to clearly hear the voices but w.e. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AxfrLdWYEyM
Politics in my anime? D: Does not compute.
Best thing I've heard all day. I'm gonna be watching out for that in KH3.
