Exactly! People don't really care, so they don't learn. Still, I don't see quite how it matters sooo much. It'd be much worse if american youth had a bad percentage for the other main subjects.
I like geography because I like finding out about other countries and lifestyles, but I dont find it really important to the general person. Some people need the knowledge, but if you're not gonna use it...

Repliku, who appears to have posted the longest post in this thread, wrote, or at least officially stated the rules. So it seems safe to assume that he's not going to write a post that's so long it's against the discussion section's rules.
I'm unable to find any rule that states a limit to the length of posts here. I don't see a problem with any lengthy, almost debate-like posts. You do not have to read them. You will also find that many threads in this section have paragraph-long posts, not two-line sized posts. It's up to the member how detailed they are, while debating is reccommended for the Debate Corner.

Please stop arguing, as this thread has become unfriendly. Please discuss the topic, in the way that you choose. There is no need to insult the way that people choose to post.

Should I have gotten a staff member?...

OK, this thread is definitely gonna get moved...

    I HATE mornings...
The waking up part's the worst, I'd like to sleep in...
And then there's daylight savings from about october to february to make mornings worse...for sleepy people and especially farmers
And then there's the gloom of finally getting up, and then having to go to school for the trouble...
    I prefer evenings, and night

If she joined the Organization would she be all bubbly and good-natured?!
If she was, many of them would be sick of her in an instant, but for way different reasons than Vexen. They'd probably have put her in the lower levels with Zexion, Lexaeus, Vexen etc.... They wouldn't like that...

While this happens everywhere, it's obviously become an epic problem in america. I wouldnt be surprised if there were similar percentages for other subjects like math, english or science.
Isn't america wealthy, and well provided-for, with lots of everything, unlike poorer third-world countries. Why have they allowed this uncaring nature in children to develop? Hopefully it doesnt get worse, or the american adults (who were once these uncaring kids) will be worse.

EDIT: oop, sozz that's too much, i'll keep it short next time...
