Hikaru put his hands on Koa's shoulder seeing the worries in his eyes as he tried to comfort the boy. "Don't worry," he began. "We're all doing our best to keep each other safe. And I'm sure she appreciates everything you, Kiara and everyone else have done up until this point. She keeps us safe just as we keep her safe." He flashed a reassuring smile hoping that would ease his mind. Luna was one of the few guardians they had and her health and curing abilities helped her keep alive and well over the course of many battles. She was one of the best healers they had aside from himself and Ananta. The light inside her heart shone brightly as her light magic would transcend her spells and flow to her very core. "Luna was one of the very first people I met. I remember back in a world called Dwarf Woodlands, she ended up..." before he thought about finishing that statement, he thought about the first time they actually met. The light filled princess was not as she was now, but was actually in a state of mind where she wasn't acting like herself, but like what Karina acts like. In fact, when he first met Karina, she was actually more like Luna was now. It was funny to him as in the back of his mind, he wondered just what events happened that caused them to act the way they did or revert to different personalities altogether. "Well, she was always kind. So it's not surprising that she's been helping us as much as she is now. You're quite a lucky Koa." He felt bad for lying in the beginning part, but he already seemed worried and Hikaru didn't want to make matter worse by digging up things that happened so long ago. Dwarf Woodlands was actually the second world he had been to and back then he was still calling himself 'Krowley.' He felt silly and almost foolish for choosing the name of a man who betrayed them, but as time had shown, both he and Luna had done a lot of growing since those earlier days. Over with Aux, his friend wwas still slashing through darkballs, feeling the darkness growing stronger inside him. The rage feuling every strike as if motivating him to slice and kill and maim without hesitation. It was like a massive Adrenalin rush where the only major downside was losing just a bit of his own moral compass. Up to this point, Aux's compass hadn't exactly been steering him in the right direction, but he hoped that working with Kaida, Hikaru and everyone else would at least help as a start to righting the wrongs he had done. He could feel the darkness increasing ashe closed his eyes, watching a dark purple veil envelope his body, as the edges of his fingers began to look like shadow-like claws. He opened his eyes wide as unknown to him, he had just activated the first level aura of Darkness; Darkest Fears. He looked at his hands and keyblade as he could feel the darkness surround him. Instead of panicing however, he felt calm and continued to slash at more darkballs, making sure he would do enough damage so that they wouldn't dare come back. Back with Finlay and Steel, Finlay was still standing over Steel, slashing at Neoshadows that were going near the two. He wasn't really sure what to do with the wolf man as he hadn't replied to his earlier threatening declaration. All he could do was just fight more of the dark creatures that were around them. Their numbers were dwindling to the hundred as he slashed his axes through heartless after heartless. As Hikaru listened he looked onward to Luna. "Yeah, she's a caring one alright." Hikaru had met Luna in Dwarf Woodlands and ever since she had been a committed and prominent part of their brigade. Koa paused before continuing with a concerned expression on his face. "What do you mean she's a princess of heart? How could she be one of the seven? Just what exactly has happened to her while she was with your group??" Hikaru could see that his words were beginning to worry him and he tried to pick his next words carefully. He didn't want to cause any more trouble than he might've already caused with Luna, but he knew that Koa truly cared for her and wanted to show his support by informing him of what he needed to know. "To be honest, we ourselves don't really know what the whole choosing of princess of heart procedure works. All I know is that during the middle of our mark of mastery exam we were transported to a few digital worlds, and inside those worlds held three lists that depicted the names of the princesses of hearts. A good twenty one candidates of who could be a possible target since the bad guys are trying to reveal the final keyhole. Luna was on one of the lists, so that's all we really have to go on. " He looked down and reflected on all the times he had traveled with her to different worlds. Dwarf Woodlands, Timeless River and Beast's Castle were just a few that he had been to, most of them being in the realm of light before being thrown into darkness. "Can't say I'm too surprised to be honest though. Luna has a very bright, kind heart, and it's said that the seven princesses all have the most purest of hearts. So I guess, it's more of a compliment than anything," he said with a reassuring smile. Over with Aux, he was still taking care of the darkballs in the most violent way possible. The balls kept bobbling their heads over towards him as he pierced the sky and slashed at their floating head, even letting loose a powerful fire spell just to create an explosion to get some distance from the creatures. As much as he leapt up to destroy them with a flurry of aerial combos and finishers, their rushing and twitching erratic attacks continued to hit him. While the damage was minor, it was still infuriating for him to deal with. He hacked and slashed getting upset to the point where he pointed his keyblade to one of the darkballs and saw a twinge of darkness create a suction like noise, watching the darkness leave the darkball before destroying it. The darkness fell into Aux, leaving him feeling refreshed. He had just used the Drain spell he used back in Shibuya which began to worry him. He didn't want to resort to using the dark spells and auras unless absolutely necessary. He didn't want tto reactivate the dark remnant he knew was still buried in his hart. Destroying several more neoshadows on his way to Steel, Finlay leapt forward and tackled Steel onto his back. He held his axes and used them like scissors as he prepared to decapitate him. This was actually quite hilarious as Steel had just greeted himself a moment earlier. But all Finlay could see was the wolf, prompting him to stand tall over the anthropomorphic wolf and demanding answers. Seeing as how he could talk, Finlay tried to reason with him the only way he knew how. "Alright yah beastie! Tell me what yah are and how yah got here! And don't try anything funny or I'll strike yah where yah stand!" "Thanks. And it's a pleasure to meet you Koa," Hikaru nodded after his quick save on destroying the heartless on his rear. "Luna is actually my fiance though this is the first time we've seen each other in two years, according to her. I've been stuck in the realm of darkness for a bit but I didn't realize how long I was gone." Koa took a hold of his necklace a bit as he reminisce a bit. Hikaru's eyes widened at the sudden news that Luna was engaged to him. "Wow... Luna's engaged? I mean, I know we learned that she was a princess of heart and all, but I didn't know that you were the one she was planning to marry." He had only recently learned that Luna was a princess of heart, but the sudden news threw him for a loop since he didn't really consider that people might have romantic partners waiting for them back home. He turned to Aux to deliver the news to him. "Hey Aux, you hear that? This is Koa! He's actually Luna's fiancee!" Aux at this point was still struggling with fighting the dozens of darkballs that were still floating around his head. Not so much struggling from difficulty, but over the frustration of actually having to get rid of them all. Much as he would've liked to leave them be, he couldn't consciously leave the dark creatures to thier own devices for fear they could actually hurt someone that wasn't adequately prepared to fight them. After slashing through another couple darkballs, he yelled back at Hikaru in a very frustrated tone. "NOW IS NOT THE TIME HIKARU!" He said, thrusting his keyblade into another darkball, before watching them smoke from it's elimination fade past his face. Right, not the time, my bad!" He yelled and waves before scratching the back of his head and turning back to Koa. "So you're engaged to a princess, huh? That's gotta be pretty interesting. I mean, you're practically a prince to be then, yah?" Hikaru quickly spun around and performed a quick combo on the couple of darkballs that were approaching them. He slashed his keyblade a few times, watching his extra ice damage from his diamond dust aura do most of the grunt work as ice crystals solidified themselves around the darkballs before Hikaru finished them off with his combo finishers. Back with Finlay, the dynamic viking was still trudging along preparing to take down the dark furred canine beast. He slashed his axes through several neoshadows making his way towards Steel. His steps were decreasing in speed, but the intensity was still in his eyes to challenge and take down the clothed wolf. He cleaved his axes through several of the heartless as his axes and body were becoming charged with more and more electricity. The massive buff he had given himself with Thor's lightning strike on his body was beginning to slowly deteriorate. He still had plenty of strength and speed left, but he could feel his speed slowly decrease. He slashed his axes as more and more neoshadows jumped up to him just to meet the end of his electric bladed axes. As Finlay walked he took a deep inhale through the manly nostril and exhaled through his mouth that smelled of lamb meat and grinned as he walked. This setting right here is what he was accustomed to. The glory of battle and the thrill of the hunt, continuing to march forward as if he were an army of one preparing to wage war on whatever enemy crossed him. "Yeah you know... where you came from, where you're going. What's your history and how you ended up in the realm of darkness. You know, that sort of thing. Watch your left." Hikaru held up his keyblade and fired a quick blizzard spell at a darkball that was approaching Koa from the rear. The darkball immediately froze in place, taking massive ice damage thanks to Hikaru's Diamond Dust Aura. The darkball continued falling to the ground and shattered upon falling to the ground, destroying itself on impact. "For instance, I went off searching for my friend Aux; that's him over there." Hikaru turned around and pointed to his red haired friend as he continued to hack and slash at the heartless canon fodder that were the darkballs. Aux wasn't even looking back because a small swarm had made their way over and were giving him a hard time. Not because of their strength, but because of the sheer amount that were floating around his head like giant mosquitoes. "He had this whole thing where he was following a dark path that led him to inevitably leave our home in Central Haven. He had some memories taken from a witch that controlled illusion, and he's better now I think... but well that's a whole other story. But I guess I should probably start at the beginning. My name is Hikaru." He quickly shook his hand realizing he hadn't even introduced himself. "And yeah, Kar- I mean Kiara I guess, was one of the first people I met looking for him. Anyways the story is that events kept happening and we've been traveling from world to world trying to set things right. We got knocked into the realm of darkness by Aux; again, that's him over there." Hikaru turned and pointed at his friend who was growing more agitated at the darkballs that kept appearing around him, punching and grunting as he was trying to make them distance themselves from him. "He's one of my best friends along with Kaida who is over... there." He quickly scanned the field before pointing out Kaida as the blonde girl on the other side of the field. "We all ended up taking the mark of mastery exam together and we all became keyblade masters. I think that's a pretty short abridged version of everything. I'm sure there's a bunch of stuff I could explain but-" Aux roared loudly as he continued to slash his keyblade at the darkballs, causing them to be eliminated one after the other. "Now's not the best time I think..." He looked over to Luna who had been launched onto another side of the field before looking back to Koa. "And glad you met up with Oswald. He's one of the people we met on our journey. Hope Mickey and the rest of them are okay." Hikaru thought back to the last time he saw them. Mickey was chasing Mizrabel through a portal after all his friends were abducted by the witch. He shook his head trying to focus on the task at hand though. "So I didn't catch your name by the way. Do you know Luna at all from the past?" Back over with Finlay he was charging and yelling like a mad man, swinging his axes at any dark creature that dared stand in his way. He swung his axes back and forth to eliminate any of the heartless threat, watching neoshadow after neoshadow walk up to him, only to be imidiately destroying after meeting the end of his bladed weapons. His eyes remained locked onto Steel hoping the creature would be able to put up a challenge. Finlay had given his wild and violent axe swinging a rest as he had looked around to see what else he could kill. He realized that with all the slaughtering of the darkball heartless, he hadn't taken the time to stop in front of his enemies and tell them just who exactly is slaughtering their brethren. He quickly looked around to the nearest heartless and pointed his axe at it. "You there! Beast!" The Neoshadow that was crawling about suddenly stopped at the sight of Finlay. It looked to the left and right to see if the Neoshadow was the thing that he was taking to. "Aye, I'm talkin tah you!" The Neoshadow twitched it's head as it began to lurch towards Finlay slowly. "Mah name is FINLAY of the LOGANACH clan. My friends call meh Fin. I don't see any of you as friends, so you can call me Finlay!" As he continued, more Neoshadows began to creeep in his general direction, surrounding him by using their shadow sneak mode to approach undetected. "I am the lord and Chief of the village of Drankar! Slayer of the Mythrilbeast! Commander of the Dragon Guard! Conqueror of the Eastern Isles, and their women!... And before you say anything, it was consensual..." The Neoshadows sneaking were unimpressed as they continued to surround him and lurched forward. "Savior of the Jorgen seas! Son of Angus the Invincible and Thor's champion of Thunder! I am Finlay!" As he finished saying his first name, several neoshadows charged onto him, prompting him to spin his axes around in a 180 motion, before pointing his axes to the sky. A large burst of lightning hit his axes, and knocked back and eliminated several of the neoshadows that were attacking him. "The Dynamic Viking," he smiled. He stood tall and looked around him to see all the neoshadows were completely destroyed in his area. the thunder also electrically charged his speed and strength as he looked around for something He looked around until his eyes locked onto a dark colored wolf that was standing on it's own hind legs. Walking around like he was just a regular human. "Ahh, a werewolf, eh?" He smiled at the challenge of a worthy beast to conquer and began to make a mad dash towards him. On the side of Hikaru and Aux, the two of them were still hard at work exterminating the darkballs. Hikaru had just finished letting loose a Blizzard spells at a bunch of Darkballs that were trying to get too close for comfort. The ice spell managed to shatter the heartless closest to him as well as freeze the others headed for him. Watching as the frozen ones would fall to the ground he quickly charged in and performed various combos until there were no heartless left around him. At this time, a brown haired boy with being launched over towards them. Hikaru had recognized him as one of the people that arrived with Karina earlier. "Hey!" he waved, offering his hand to help the boy up. "Saw you arrive with Karina earlier." He looked back and called to Aux. "Hey Aux, it's one of Karina's allies!" Aux in the meanwhile wasn't in much of a chatting mood as he was punching and slashing away at the darkballs, taking on much more than Hikaru was doing at the time. "Right, I'll get you when you're less busy..." He said, turning back to the boy. He kept his guard up and looked around for any more darkballs as he talked to the boy. "So what's your story?" Hikaru hadn't met this person yet, but from what he'd seen, he was on friendly terms with Luna. Aux was leaping into the air and grabbing at the darkballs like they were giant balloons. With one in particular, he grabbed it by it's chain and dragged it down slowly, making sure not to disturb it too much. The heartless jerked and shook about to try and escape, but it's efforts didn't do it any good. Aux continued to pull down the heartless until it was floating in front of him and began to whirl it around like a morning star. He swung it around by it's chain as it it were a flail preparing to hit the rest of it's heartless brothers with the creature and hopefully destroy them in the process. Hikaru cast a quick Blizzard spell on the darkball Aux was swinging and caused it to freeze. The extra weight caused by the ice allowed Aux to swing the heartless about with more weight to it. While it was indeed heavier, the darkball now had some extra power to it. He swung the darkball at a few others until his weaponized heartless couldn't take it anymore and eventually shattered, taking several other heartless with it in the process. The other darkballs that saw this occurrence slowly began to float in the opposite direction. Looking at the escaping darkballs, Hikaru began to chase after them. "Oh no you don't!" He began to race ahead, already growing tired from the distance, before turning around and pointing his keyblade straight forward. A burst of power eminated from the keyblade before several jets of water began to spurt out from the tip of his keyblade. The jets of water weren't doing too much damage. but, the spell was doing it's job in gathering the darkballs and coralling them into a small space for him to finish off. Once the spell had expired, he heard a roaring yell as Finlay came in charging from the east. The darkballs he himself were chasing continued to bump into the darkballs Hikaru was chasing and caused them to scatter a bit. Before they scattered however, the doused heartless managed to splash some water onto the other heartless that Finlay had chased towards Hikaru. This caused the rest of the heartless to all end up soaking wet and perfect for the technique Finlay was about to perform. He pointed his axe at a darkball near the center of the group and released a quick zap of celtic magic. This resulted in all the floating darkballs clinging together as if they were giant grapes of darkness. With all his opponents in one place, Finlay pointed both axes at the gathered swarm and charged his axes with electricity before firing them at the gathered darkballs. The electricity on top of the darkballs being doused by Hikaru's water spell caused all the heartless to be violently electrocuted on impact. Finlay let out a roar of laughter as he joyously raced forward and let in a deep inhale from the smoke of his slaughtered enemies. "Isn't this just the greatest day?! First we beat the witch, now we fight in glorious battle! Oh how I wish me boys back home could see this, HAHAHA!" Finlay laughed as he raced off to his next conquest. Hikaru waved goodbye lightly at him as his mouth winced a bit as to who the heck that was and what witch he was talking about. Looking back to Aux, his friend was still pummeling the darkballs with his barehands, causing him to wipe his forehead from all the unecessary physical grunt work he was doing. "You know you could use the keyblade right? It's way easier!" Aux simply looked back at Hikaru and glared. "Or you know, not... your choice." Hikaru also waved at Aux before returning to his own side. The hostility in this group was growing more and more alarming. With Finlay continuing to slash about through the battlefield, he swung his axes with little to no effort as he watched one darkball after the other disappear in a flash. He clashed his two axes together as he began to whirl them about with his arms. His arms moved in a circular motion as if they were helicopter blades. He walked forwards slowly, hearing the whoosh of his blades with every step. A darkball began to float it's way towards him, only to be cleaved clean off by the sheer strength and speed of the blades. A puff of smoke appeared as Finlay continued to march forward, killing anything in his path. He roared with laughter as his axes continuing to swing away, the momentum causing some static electricity to frizzle in his raggedy beard. Over with Hikaru and Aux, Hikaru was still making his own progress with the darkballs. They hadn't gained much strength since their last encounter, but they were still enough of a threat for him to stay focused on them. He cast a quick Blizzaga spell at one of the darkballs and watched it fall to the ground. The heartless shattered on impact once it hit the ground, Hikaru ensuring to keep his ground in case more of them would try and corner or rush him. Turning his back to check on his friend, Aux seemed to be more than capable of handling the situation. Aux was barely relying on his keyblade as he began to physically punch the darkballs. He could see he wasn't exactly enjoying the fighting, but he could see the look on Aux's face was rather satisfied as defeating them with his own hands. Hikaru could usually tell when something was bothering Aux by how he was when he was fighting. Back when he sparred with Kaida, he would usually be calm when there was nothing bothering him. When he fought with intent in his eyes, there was usually something on his mind. In this case, Hikaru could piece together what was bothering his friend. "Look, I know you said you needed to talk, so I guess I'll just start..." He took a deep breath before continuing, but not before doing a quick combo against a darkball. "I'm sorry I'm the reason you fell into darkness. If you hadn't sacrificed your light to help keep me stable, we would've never left central haven. You wouldn't have been in any of this mess if it weren't for me." As Hikaru apologized, Aux through a darkball at him, causing Hikaru to be pushed to the ground and the heartless to burst into smoke from the impact. "Stop being stupid," He said, picking him up to his feet by his collar. "My decisions are mine alone. I could've just as easily found another way to fix you, but I wanted a fast result. That choice was mine. You were a factor sure, but it's not your fault. Why do you always have to apologize for everything anyways?" Hikaru looked down, still feeling sorry for himself. "Besides I should be thanking you. If you and your friends didn't defeat Mizrabel, I'd still be lost in the dark. I remember my family, I remember my past. That was all thanks to you... So stop blaming yourself for things you can't control. Focus on the things you can and stop worrying about everything. Kaida would agree." Hikaru scratched the back of his head before realizing what he just said. "Wait... you and Kaida talked about me?" Aux quickly looked around to try and walk away from this conversation. He found some more darkballs before taking out his keyblade and dealing more damage to them. Though he knew his friend was just avoiding things, he felt a bit lighter that his friend didn't resent him. Finlay watched the battlefield as a huge horde of heartless surrounded the field. His nostrils flared as an uneven and very uncomfortable smile escaped his face. His smile grew wider as his mouth was wide open, looking across the hundreds of monsters that lay before him. it reminded him of his glorious battle days back home. To this point, all he had faced were mindless robots that fired easy to navigate spells. But now he was looking at monsters. Predatory creatures of darkness that he could tear apart with his own bare hands. Sure, they wouldn't be splattered in blood in a field of glory, but anything he could tear apart and make scream was perfect for him. It didn't matter if it would just be in a puff of smoke, it was a battle. And glorious one at that. A single tear rolled down his cheek, as he continued to hold his axes high. His smile still stretching from ear to ear, he let out a mighty roar as he began charging the battle in slow motion. He was so happy just being able to fight in a battle where he could destroy and kill things. While he would normally be spiting and mocking his enemies, he just continued to rush ahead and swing his axes. He was speechless as he began laughing with a big toothy smile, taking his axes and charging his entire body with lightning. While he looked like a mad man in real time, everything just slowed down for him as he leapt up and struck both axes downward, slashing through his enemies in a barbarian viking fashion. Finlay charged into the battlefield with both axes flailing. He was a warrior through and through, and slashing at these creatures made him happier than he had been in a while. He continued smiling as he laughed like a child on Christmas. As he slashed through each darkball, he let out a mighty laugh. From across the field, Hikaru and Aux stood and watched the dynamic viking continue to wreck and tear apart his enemies with savage intent and a very wide grin. Hikaru turned to Aux and looked back at Finlay. "So I see Karina made some new... friends..." He looked back to Finlay and couldn't look away as he slaughtered them with such joy. "Is that how I look when I'm fighting?" Aux asked. He knew he was a very strong man, but didn't know if he looked that crazy while he fought. Hikaru shook his head in reply, still watching Finlay. "No... That guy looks like he's enjoying it way too much." They watched as a darkball rolled towards them in agony, Aux quickly slashing at it with his keyblade to put it out of it's misery. "I'm just gonna, steer clear of that guy for a while..." Hikaru said, slowly backing away and destroying more darkballs on his own. Aux continued to watch the viking and shook, his eyes wanting to turn away and hoping he didn't have to talk to that guy. Aux leapt back to his own heartless to fight and began hacking and slashing away at them. They were mostly fighting darkballs, so Aux was simply performing various aerial combos until they were removed from the field. In the background, he could still hear Finlay roaring with joyous laughter as his axes slashed through his enemies. Hikaru was also on his own side performing various aerial combos as well. His Diamond Dust Aura also gave him a neat combo finisher that damaged enemies around him with a rapid spinning of ice chunks around his body. Managing to defeat the darkballs in his general vicinity, Aux and Hikaru faced away from each other to prepare for any more heartless appearances. Maybe another wave or two, but there's still only a dozen of them against thousands of heartless. Even with your buffing magic, you won't be able to keep them alive forever. He snickered as he summoned his next wave of Heartless, including a thousand neoshadows and a thousand darkballs. "You're all weak..." Hughes grinned as he stood by his heartless. "You're the weak one!" a woman's antagonizing voice blared across the battlefield. The voice belonged to that of Karina, as she stood with Oswald the lucky rabbit, Mizu, Arctus, Finlay, Vallus, Aeira, and Koa; several people she had met on her journey. "Overcompensating with heartless? Not man enough to take us on yourself?!" "How is it this hard to be rid of you!" Hughes cried out. "Shiro!" Mizu cried out happily. "Kaida!" "LADY MIZU!" Shiro called back, looking to the rest of the group alongside her. "AND FRIENDS." "We're here to help!" "PLEASE LADY MIZU! IT'S QUITE DANGEROUS!" Mizu shook her head. "No! I've been useless for far too long! Now it's my turn to help you!" Hughes laughed halfheartedly. "You need a child now Fujioka? What kind of solider won't fight his own battle?" Shiro looked to him. "I'm more than just a soldier Hughes. I'm part of a unit! And I would trust my life with Mizu or Kaida any day! PROCEED LADY MIZU, BUT BE WARY!" Mizu nodded and clapped her hands together, gathering a large amount of magical energy. " "You can't be serious?" Hughes mocked. "What threat could she possibly hold?" "It's not her you should be worried about." Hughes turned to him and laughed. "What? The other brats? One of them took my arm because I was being far too lenient. But I ain't going easy on 'em this time, so if they're her ace in the whole, I'd find another ringer..." Shiro laughed. "What's so funny?!" Hughes turned around as an enormous shadow was cast over him. Mizu was standing on the shoulder of a giant ice colossus. The monstrous golem stood a fair hundred feet tall as it emanated cold air around itself. "Colonel. Meet Sprinkles." Mizu looked down at the man intensly. Yue and Lea were still missing, and she had a lot of work to make up for. "Sprinkles!" She commanded, the ice colossus turning it's head to face her on it's shoulder. "Fetch..." She said calmly, pointing to the darksides. The colossus turned it's head back and grabbed the faces of both darksides with it's icy claws. The collosus slammed both heads to the ground as it began unleashing attack after attack against them. "YES LADY MIZU!" Shiro spun around and began to destroy several invisibles. "THE BATTLE RAGES ON!" Mizu and Sprinkles defeated 2 Darksides. Shiro defeated 10 Invisibles! MISSION START! NOTE: Black Coats Characters are able to use 100 BP. Oswald nodded as he looked to the group. "Okay, but we have to hurry! I don't know how many monsters are with that guy, but it didn't look like they were letting up soon..." "I'm afraid you don't realize the gravity of the... como se dice... outcome." He looked to Luther's hand and slowly pushed it away with his own. "Regardless of how or why, I have still been bested. The Red Society is surmised of only the most worthy and unbeatable of opponents. Seeing as how I have been bested in combat, I no longer serve a purpose there. I am better off on finishing things on my own terms." He summoned his keyblade and pointed it at his own heart. "I end my very existence in a way befitting of a De le Vega... With honor... and without regret." He pierced his heart, dropping his keyblade to the ground. His hands following suit as he closed his eyes and began to vanish from the area. "This is only the beginnning..." he said in his final words, as he faded from existence. A small of cigar smoke lit the room as a man's deep southern voice echoed about the room. "Well that really is just a damn shame, ain't it?" There was no man in sight, but the voice could still be heard. "Would've wagered my money on the spaniard, but seeing the outcome, makes me rather glad I didn't." He let out a heavy sigh as he continued. "Now I'm gonna have to take y'all in for questionin.'" Before he could give them time to react, both Melus and Luther were warped out of the room. The only thing remaining in the room now was a lot of damage, and Lea's broken keyblade. ---------------------- Mizu breathed deeply. "I've just missed so much. I've never felt so out of the loop before." She took a brief pause. "Wow, this is what Kaida must feel like..." She looked to Kiara. "Well if you think there's a chance she's still alive, why would we go back to your base? Why don't we just got to where Shiro is?"
With Luther's technique forcing Tango into a corner, a small smirk escape the corner of his lips. A giant explosion blasted back Luther and broke his illusion along with it. The focus he brought to fool Tango this time didn't go unnoticed as the skilled swordsman had a back-up plan. The flaming dragon spell was a decoy to help keep Luther at bay, but the real trump card was for when Luther got close enough. Tango's ultimate ability came from his ability to destroy anyone in close combat. For whenever Luther would get to close, Tango could unleash pinpoint explosions at blank point range without dealing any damage to himself. Mastering the ability over fire for years and years, he had learned to take as little damage as possible without getting burned. Watching as Luther got knocked back, he took his keyblade and prepared the final blow. "You fought well young man. But the truth remains that Ignicio De la Vega remains undefefeat-" before he finished his last sentance, he felt a piercing pain in his chest as a burst of air had caused the flames surrounding his body to waver for a moment. Two more bursts that had hit his body previously were dissintigrated before hitting his body, but created enough of an opening for the third wind based arrow to his his mark. A twinge of fear caused his eye to twitch as he looked down at his chest. His heart was beginning to bleed through his shirt, causing him to fall to his knees. He had managed to cover all his bases for an epic sword battle, but he didn't account for any long distance attacks, let alone from the other contender. "Only a fatal blow..." he repeated in disbelief, falling to his knees. He could have argued against the rules or the legitimacy of the attack, but the fact remained; he had been bested. He looked to Melus and sighed as he held his chest. "Sly as a fox, but the conditions have been met." looked up to Luther who he knocked back with the explosion. "You have been declared victor... My element is now yours. You are free to finish me off senor..." He closed his eyes and opened his arms to embrace his demise.
After Aux's attack on finishing off the rest of the darkballs, he began to look around himself and Hikaru. From the look of things, the heartless were still raging against the rest of the members in their party, but at least their numbers were definitely decreasing, He could see by just his simple viewpoint of the area around him, that the numbers had now begun to decrease in the low hundreds. Before he had time to give a closer inspection, he more than a few dozen shadows begin to crawl their way before the two of them. Hikaru quickly held his keyblade with both hands as he looked around to keep a calm composure. He breathed out cold air as he kept a level headed, charging against the shadows on his side, leaving Aux to his own devices. With his keyblade tilted over his should, he dropped his blade to his ground and cracked his neck slowly as he looked straight ahead at the shadows. A small smirk escaped his mouth, knowing the onslaught he was about to perform against the bewildered heartless. Hikaru on his own side, began to slash through the shadows with his newly invigorated sleek prowess. He watched over his shoulders, as a few of the shadows tried to sneak behind him, while a good dozen of them had begun to sneak below him in their shadow sneak mode. He quickly leapt into the air as he kept the heartless at arm's length. He would've cast another blizzard spell to try and get rid of the group, but he began to sense that he was low on magic power. He would have to hack and slash at some of them in order to naturally restore some of his magic power. Knowing this, He quickly slammed his keyblade down and watched a couple of the shadows get knocked back. The diamond dust aura was enough to not only empower his ice magic, but also give his keyblade the ability to deal ice magic. He slashed through some more shadows as he watched tiny crystals fall past his face in a cool breeze as his battle continued. Before he was done, he quickly looked down to the shadows that were now popped out of the ground and ready to attack him with a flurry of scratches. Knowing he wouldn't catch a breath until they were dealt with, Hikaru was prepared for this. He took his keyblade and performed a quick array of slashes to deal with the remaining shadows. On Aux's end, he had begun fighting the shadows in a rather unorthodox way. He was actually bonking the shadows on the head with his keyblade. One by one he was just conking them on the head like he was playing a game of whack a mole. The number of shadows he had to deal with were far less than that of Hikaru, so he decided to have some harmless fun with it and just hit the shadows' heads until they vanished from impact. With enough force, no matter how minuscule, the shadows would always be defeated. They were after all, one of, if not THE weakest heartless he had come across during his time with the SOS. Quickly finishing on his side, he turned to Hikaru to see if he was done on his end. His friend was still slashing away at some of the remaining heartless however. With another final combo, he looked back at Aux and gave a quick thumbs up and a cocky smile. Aux took his two fingers and replied to Hikaru with a quick and silent salute back at him. So I'm getting a lot of Space Pirate sci-fi suggestions. (A very wide concept I'd like to explore) I'll leave discussion open for a bit to see if another suggestion to elaborate on.
Hikaru continued to run around the area where he and Aux were situated in to find more darkballs to pitch towards him. As he looked for more darkballs to throw, he looked at the battlefield around him to see how everyone else was doing. For the most part, the members of the soldiers of sanctuary seemed to be holding up just fine. With the two giant darksides gone, there were mostly neoshadows, darkballs and good old swarms of shadows left behind to deal with. From the look of things, even the invisibles were taken care of. As he began to run through everything, he noticed a mostly damaged shadow staggering around, just waiting to be put out of his misery. Dragging his keyblade along his left side, he made a mad dash towards the damaged heartless and swept up his keyblade in a swift uppercut to damage the heartless. Almost as if it was made of paper, his blade swept right through the shadow and had it eliminated on sight. He continued to run through the heartless hordes, passing the heartless that was barely an after thought once he took care of it until he found a small group of darkballs. He quiockly waved his arms about to try and get it's attention. "Hey, over here!" He put his fingers to his mouth to let out a loud whistle sound. Unfortunately to his dismay, Hikaru didn't know how to properly whistle, and the sound that came out sounded more like a raspberry being blown on a belly than an actual whistle. "Oh, right..." He looked back up and yelled "Whistle sound!" before waving his arms and running back towards Aux. Before he would pitch them towards Aux to hit, he had to at least gather them all in a place that was easier for him to hit towards. He continued to shout 'Whistle sound, whistle sound!' for a few hundred more metres until he was close enough to Aux. He would've pitched them from further away, but Hikaru was no where near Aux's strength level to appropriately hit the darkballs with enough force that they would be able to fly a long enough distance. No, Hikaru could probably only pitch the darkballs a dozen feet. And that was with a long jump and equal momentum to match. As he ran towards him, Aux raised an eyebrow as Hikaru continued to yell 'whistle sound, whistle sound,' until he was close enough to Aux. He didn't have time to question however, as Hikaru made a long vertical jump before performing a slapshot to shoot the darkball at Aux. He would jump up and continue to keep the darkballs' attention on him so that they wouldn't wander off and target any of the other keyblade wielders. Seeing the darkball that was pitched towards him, Aux hit the darkball with a powerful smack with his blade, watching it fly to the other darkballs with one swift motion from his arm. The darkball hit two of the darkballs gathered around Hikaru, causing all three of them to disappear in a puff of smoke. Before he could pitch the others to him, Aux's disturbance caused the darkballs to slowly esge towards him. Unwavered, he walked forward and jumped to slash away at the remaining darballs with a few quick aerial combos. As he remained in the air, he hacked and slashed at the darkballs with an increased ferocity to try and make sure there was nothing left of the heartless but smoke. As he landed back on the ground, nothing but smoke is exactly what had fallen around him as looked around to see what was enemy he had to defeat next. The flames intensified around Tango so that he couldn't be touched by Luther with his quick strikes. The flames surrounding him were growing larger as he summoned his dragon once more, controlling it with the wave of his keyblade. "Yes Luther! We shall both create a battle of beauty!" He target his dragon at the illusions to make them disappear. "No more tricks! No more catching me off guard! This battle will end in a blaze of glory!" Rango was still surrounded by flames, making sure that Luther wouldn't get close enough to him without getting burned. His eyes burned in passion as he has the widest smile on his face. The battle with Luther was making him very happy as he had never been able to let loose on this kind of level. "This is the end for you senor! Ignicio De la Vega will triumph today as the champion of both fire and illusion!"
Hikaru kept his guard up, with Aux watching his back from behind. Still using his frosty diamond dust aura, Hikaru twirled his keyblade around before firing a blizzaga spell at an oncoming darkball. The darkball froze in place on impact as it began falling to the ground. Watching as the heartless began falling to the ground, Hikaru dealt a quick uppercut with his keyblade and knocked it up into the air. Making sure not to eliminated it on impact, his keyblade uppercut had to be carefully glided as not to destroy the darkside. Using his keyblade like a baseball bat, he hit the darkball in a slapshot like motion causing the darkball to explode in barrage of tiny ice-like crystals, the other darkballs scattering their tilted heads from the impact. Hikaru began to run at one of the dazed darkballs and balanced itself on it's head, almost as if he was having fun. "Hey, Aux, wanna see how good your batting arm is?" Aux had at this point, just eliminated his own darkball by dragging it's chain down to his eye level and slashing it with his keyblade. He turned to Hikaru to see what he wanted and raised an eyebrow at the question. "What the heck does that mean?" Hikaru was holding out his arms to find a right amount of balance while the darkball continued to tilt it's head left and right, unaware that Hikaru was on it's head. "You know, like baseball!" Baseball was something that Aislinn had spoken to Aux about before prior to the whole little singing moment that he'd much rather forget. She had mentioned something regarding to never play baseball among woodland creatues. He was still debating in his head as to whether or not that was an actual experience that girl had come across, or if it was all a fever dream she had come up with in her head. Regardless, he had no idea what exactly baseball was, but it seemed like most people in this group did. "What's baseball?" Hikaru had never fully talked with Aux about sports. Which is odd seeing as how some one with Aux's physique could easily dominate in a sport like Football, Rugby or Hockey. Aux rarely talked about his home world, but now that he had his memories back, he should've been able to recognize more about himself. There was plenty he wanted to ask his friend, but for now he wanted to just get in some pitches. "Never mind... Look, I'm going to knock the darkballs your way, and you hit them as hard as you can!" Aux wasn't exactly sure where his friend was going with this, but as long as he could hit something, he didn't see the harm in trying. He was confused as to why he didn't just say 'hit them' in the first place. "Got it," he nodded, holding his keyblade over his shoulder. "You don't wanna use two hands?" In baseball, the batter would always hold the bat with both hands to get a better swing for a homerun. "Why would I need two?" Aux yelled from fifty meters away. Hikaru shrugged and shook his head knowing that Aux wasn't getting the concept. He also knew he could probably have enough power in just one arm than he would ever need with two. "Never mind!" he yelled back. With that out of the way, Hikaru held both hands on his keyblade and made a slapshot at the darkball towards heartless, landing back on the ground. He jumped up and did the same with a couple of others as he watched them head towards Aux. Glaring at the oncoming heartless, Aux used one hand and slashed away at the darkballs, causing them to be eliminate on contact. Aux didn't have the baseball stance of maneuver, but at least they were defeated. I like the idea of exploration in a time/place outside modern day. Something of an adventure/exploration roleplay is an idea I've always toyed around with. From what I've measured with the current suggestions, I've gathered that some possible scenarios; Pirate-like roleplay (Sailing the seas or sky in search of boundless treasures and adventure) Space Crew Exploration Roleplay (Getting a real Stark trek vibe from this idea, with it's own original charm. The crew would spend it's exploits finding new worlds, confront allies and enemies and explore the unknown) Medieval Quest (An overarching adventure featuring characters of unique abilities sent on a quest to save the kingdom)
