Aias used fire dash on the useful target
Beuce gasped in pain and gripped his chest as the attack hit. Cringing in pain, he slowly stood back up to his full height. "Ow, my pride." He'd destroyed Waifu with eyes of blue...How dare he! Man, that would be bad if he didn't have another one in his hand. "Alright, it's my turn now." Beuce placed his hand on the card, gripped it, and swiped his hand across to the other side of his body before looking at it. That was how you drew a card in Yu-Gi-Oh!, and everyone knew it. He grinned. It was, of course, what he needed to pull this combo off. "Well, this might hurt a bit, but it'll be wurf." Placing down a card the field, he used up his normal summon for the turn. "I summon Maiden with Eyes of Blue from my hand!" In a flash of light, the ultimate waifu had returned to the field. "Next, i activate the facedown i put on the field earlier! Castle of Dragon Souls!" Extending his hand, the card raised up to reveal itself. "I banish the white stone of legend from my graveyard, and use the effect to target Maiden, increasing her attack by 700." The a ghostly version of the white stone of legend floated out of the larger version of the card on the field and passed into Maiden, causing her to glow slightly with an enhanced power. "And since she was targeted by a card effect, she can activate her own effect. Come out, Blue-Eyes White Dragon!" A deafening roar could be heard as Beuce placed another card from his deck onto the field, calling forth an enormous white dragon. Though, summoning the creatures had not come without cost. Flames poured over from Lucien's side of the field, burning him each time a card effect was activated. Though he endured and pressed onward with his turn. "Now, I'm tuning my level one Maiden with Eyes of Blue to my level eight Blue-Eyes White Dragon!" The woman on his field hovered up into the air with a glow. Fading out, she transformed into a single green ring high in the sky. With a wave of his hand, Beuce commanded one of his Blue-Eyes' to fly towards it. Lifting up, it passed into the center of the ring and began to glow. "Sovereign ruler of the ancient cards. Legendary White Dragon, take on new form and cast out the darkness from your domain! Come forth, Azure-Eyes Silver Dragon!" Imbued with a new power, Beuce's dragon took the center of the field, standing a fair bit taller than the remaining blue-eyes on the field. Although, this monster was only the catalyst for the true threat. "Now, i activate Silver's Cry! Return to me, Blue-Eyes White Dragon!" The massive dragon now once again graced the field, on the opposite side of Azure-Eyes. "Next, I activate Galaxy Queen's Light to raise the two Blue-Eyes to the level of Azure." He'd taken a total of two thousand damage from the card effects he'd been activating, but it would be worth it. Everything was in place. He extended his hand forward, and each of the three dragons flew up into the sky. They looked at each other, as if to say "We're gonna combine!" "Three Dragons of White, join into a new power. Almighty wrath of the stars, descend upon this battlefield to chain away their power and raze all that stands before you! XYZ summon! Number C107: NEO GALAXY-EYES TACHYON DRAGON!" The dragons joined in a blinding display of light, The stars themselves aligned to signify the descent of this beast. Dust blew in every direction as the massive three-headed dragon descended onto the field, under Beuce's command. It radiated with a brilliant golden light, and even dwarfed Bahamut. The roar it let out was deafening. It shook the very foundation the rocky ground they stood on. "Now, I detach an XYZ material to activate the effect of Tachyon!" It reared the three heads, and curled up. Charging with a golden light, it let out a wave of energy onto Lucien's field, None of the cards he had on the field could activate their effects. His dragons may as well have been normal monsters, and their attack was substandard compared to the deadly onslaught that was about to be unleashed upon their master. "Now that i don't have to worry about any more burn damage, I activate Monster Reborn! Rise once again, Blue-Eyes White Dragon!" Though the beast may have been small in comparison to the massive creature that now dominated the field, it still stood proudly above Lucien's dragons. "In addition, your Flare Metal can now be destroyed by card effects. There's nothing protecting it anymore." Slipping a spell card from his hand into the duel disc, he cleared the way for his assault. "Go, Blue-Eyes! Burst Stream of Destruction!" The white dragon gathered an orb of energy in it's mouth, before unleashing a massive stream from it's mouth in a line along the ground across the enemy field, instantly shattering both of the monsters that stood before it. The way was now paved for the real assault. "Now, I attack with Neo Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Dragon directly! Galactic Particle Beam!" Each of the three heads raised upwards. Golden light began to radiate up it's body into each of the mouths. A golden orb began to form in each, growing larger with each wave of power that poured into it. Turning the gaze of each head directly toward Lucien, they loosed the attack. Three separate beams all converged into a single, massive attack. It tore the ground away to nothing as it passed over it, utterly destroying all in it's path. Once the beam finally died down, Beuce looked at Lucien with a confident expression. "I'd say that made the scores a little more even, wouldn't you?"
Aias was all like "Yo *****. You best not be tryin' to bust up my homie." and then turned white again and used barrier surge on *mumbles incoherently* and blocked for Rho.
Well, it seemed that the fight was drawing to a close, one way or another. All that remained was to finish him off. Running up to X, Beucette used sliding dash. "gg ez" She said, hoping that they would win this turn and not give him the chance to completely shrek them. Also, it seemed that the guild master and X were having a back and forth. No one seemed to care, though. Well, it looked like there was some bad blood between them. That would probably end up being a plot device later on. Yup. Most definitely. Also X. That guy has wavy hair. He sure does. Mhm. Yup. The narration is talking about X. The post is now longer. Congratulations cal.
Aias used barrier surge and bro shielded Rho. Beucette used strike raid Ra escorted Boreal back into the guild Quinn chased after Erigor Ezekiel was unconscious still Orpheus remained unposted for
Beuce watched as Lucien played his cards. It was as he suspected. He was using a Red-eyes deck. Of course. It was the perfect opposite to the deck he was using. Drawing a card, then looking over his hands, he willed what he needed for his opening move into existence. "Alright Mr."I can speak with all the colors of the wind", let's do this. I start my turn by activating One for One!" Thrusting the spell card into the slot in his duel disc, a larger version of it appeared on the field in front of him. "You read the wiki, i don't need to tell you what it does." Beuce said. Plucking a second card from his hand, he placed it in the graveyard slot. "Now, since The White Stone of Legend was sent to my graveyard, i can add a Blue-Eyes White Dragon from my deck to my hand." AND SO HE DID. "Now, for the second part of One for One. From my deck i special summon a level one monster of my choosing. And i choose Maiden with Eyes of Blue." As soon as he extracted the card from his deck and placed it onto his duel disc, a young maiden who, coincidentally enough, had blue eyes appeared on the field. Now, in most cases a young girl staring down an enormous dragon of darkness would be a little one sided, yeah? Well it still kind of was so he didn't attack. "I'll set one card face down and end my turn. Your move." Spoiler: Hand 4 cards. yup, Spoiler: Field Monster Zone: Maiden with Eyes of Blue Spell/Trap Zone: One card face down Spoiler: Graveyard One for One The White Stone of Legend Dane had evidently evaded Lexcifur's attack fairly easily, and managed to grab him. He was using his friend as a human shield. Lexcifur would be able to escape the hold, but not quick enough to avoid the fist. Quickly redirecting the fist downward, it slammed against the ground instead of it's intended target and hoisted Zavion high into the air. Dissipating the fist, he swung his foot in an upward arc, sending a crescent of solid darkness downward toward Dane's back. Lexcifur wouldn't just let Dane throw him around like a ragdoll to block all of the attacks. He'd either have to release his grip, or be hit by the attack. Perhaps both, even. Rienzel was about to follow up with another attack on the girl, but the one fighting by her side came to intercept him. Stratos hurled a wind-empowered keyblade at him. Rienzel avoided it as best he could, but the wind properties that had been bestowed on it gave it a hero of the bow type ability, where it could change the trajectory of the throw mid-flight. The keyblade struck his left shoulder, knocking him back slightly. The attack wasn't ineffectual, but it had done less damage than one would expect from a near direct hit. Cutting through Freya's barrier had crafted a barrier of his own around his body. His sword was made to destroy magic, and re purpose it to his benefit. He looked at the second attack that was thrown toward him. A sphere of pure wind. This was a more manageable attack. While he was no better against magic enhanced projectiles than any other, Rienzel could scarcely be hurt by projectiles of raw magic, save for in great quantity where he couldn't deflect them fast enough. Passing the blade into his right hand, he slashed through the wind, disappointing it entirely. The residual magic from the orb was split into two. One half was used to help keep up his barrier, and the other sent a backlash of energy toward the original caster. "So you refuse to see reason, broken by the despair of loss..." He said in a sorrowful tone. He readied Narukami into a proper stance. "So be it then. I have no choice but to stop you here and now. I cannot allow you to release the hero." He was a blur. He didn't need to travel through the shadows to be faster than most could handle. However, he knew Caleb well, and he was one of the few who could. His attacks were seamless. An upward slash of the downward slash of the blade to bring his opponent's guard high, followed by a lower sweep of the leg to attempt to remove balance. Finishing off by phasing into the shadows, moving behind his opponent, and attempting to sever their spine. This combination of attacks had been the death of Darius. The left hand of madness. He and his brother Dorian had kidnapped a local prostitute, when ghost arrived. Batholomew's assault had been relatively successful. While he had taken out several of the crows with his ice bullets, the bulk of them had survived. Nearly crashing into him, Bartholomew drew out his sickle. If he'd learned anything from the last time he encountered this kid, it's that he wasn't the greatest in close quarters combat. Weird, considering he was trained by Ghost. In any case, he figured to use this to his advantage. Swinging the blade, Bartholomew aimed for the chest of his enemy. It wasn't long before three others entered the house of the hero. One was a descendant of Ananta. A woman who had been a part of those who fought against him in the last great war. She had since turned to the ways of darkness, evidently willing to serve him without question. This was good. She attempted to absorb some of his darkness. So, why not give her what she wanted? He let a small portion of his darkness slip into her. It would be a drug unlike anything she had ever experienced. His was darkness like no other. The first which manifested in the realm of light. However, the second was one that he had not expected to see. It was an old ally. Someone from the original world, before the walls had divided. Xross. He seemed to now be a part of the group that was attempting to free him, though he hadn't know who he was previously. Also Hunter ran in and unlocked a lock. That was good. yup. Akira hadn't taken well to his mental assault. He hardly needed to convince the other two to help him, so he continued speaking to her. "Ahaa...You misunderstand. Even i do not possess the power to outright defeat her. There is no power in all creation that rivals what she holds. She cannot be defeated directly, by any means. However, that doesn't mean i cannot defeat her. I, and i alone, am capable of bringing about her defeat." Speaking mentally to the other two, he told them what needed to be done. "If i am to be released from my prison, it will take as many keyblades as sealed me. Bring them to me until the locks have all fallen loose, and i will be free."
Aias decided to partake in the ***** ****ery
Aias' face remained in a constant stoic expression as Nessa revealed her nature as a cripple. He seemed utterly unfazed by the revelation. He as well remained silent at the angry yells of each suitor. He waited, listening to each outburst, Vance included. "They are all shortsighted fools..." Aias said to no one in particular, but loud enough that he could be heard. His tone was devoid of expression. He was simply stating his thoughts. Nothing more. "While it is true i know nothing of nobility, i know something of arrogance. You need not shield your face or apologize, Lady Nessa. Those that look at you and can see nothing more than a wheelchair do not deserve to look upon you. The prize for the contest was to wed the most beautiful woman in the land, and it is." With that, Aias returned to his neutral state of a silent observer. Perhaps if he were to win this contest, he could have the resources to better restore balance to the tattered world in which they lived, though this girl was worth far more than her money. All but the most foolish of men would be able to see that. Beucette suddenly shed a drop of sweat. Why did she get the feeling this guy was packing skills that were like...Meant for them, but way in the future when they were much stronger? Oh. Right. The fact that Cal copy and pasted sand magic for his abilities, including the high level spells. That would be why. GG cal. GG. Well, there was an old saying. If you aren't winning, try a bigger sword. And much like Beucette's metaphorical ego, her physical ego was surpassed by none as far as size. Running up to X, she had a scathingly brilliant idea. She threw her sword at him, causing it to bounce off his face into the air (Which didn't kill him because if you have more than 1 hp, you're ready to go.) During this brief period where he was knocked back, she put her hands into his mouth, leaped up, and put her foot in. If she could get inside him, then she would do double damage and be basically immune to anything he did! It was foolproof! Ra listened to Boreal's words. He was fairly injured. Far more than when he'd last seen him. It was obvious that he'd been mistreated within the tower. He looked at Boreal, and saw Ezekiel. Both of them had strayed down the wrong path, but Ezekiel had begun steering down the right one. Perhaps, if given the opportunity, Boreal could do the same...His thoughts were interrupted by some demon swooping in all batman style like "you're not going anywhere mother****er." ...That was perhaps the oddest way to describe any situation he'd ever thought of. Perhaps it was this body...In any case, Boreal turn around ran as fast as he could. He didn't blame him. He didn't have many options. Melding into the shadows, he fairly easily outran Boreal. Emerging once more, he was in his path. "Do not flee! You'll only make things worse on yourself. I cannot allow you to leave, but the tower you were imprisoned in was perhaps too much." He turned to Trevor, and held out his hand for him to stop. "Wait a moment! Let me speak to him first!" Returning his attention to Boreal, he was prepared to offer him a deal. "If you can undo this magic which has been afflicted upon us, then you may stay in my dorm for the time being. Under watch, but you'll find it is a fair bit more hospitable than your previous dwelling. I guarantee you will not be mistreated. However, should you attempt to flee, i will hunt you down myself. You will not escape, i assure you, and there will be consequences for betraying my trust. Now, what say you? Will you run, or help us?"
Well that's like the best thing ever.
"Machina soul: Highwind!" Quinn began glowing with a bright light, before it faded, revealing him to be in a sleek black armor, tight against his skin. "Alessia, you go get the others. I'll chase after Erigor. He won't get away." Crouching down, Quinn lifted off into the air at breakneck speeds, creating a large gust of wind where he had lifted off from. Machina soul was a magic that let one touch machinery and take on it's properties. Highwind was one of the most advanced jets that had ever been created. It was unlikely Erigor could outrun him in this form. There were few alive he couldn't run circles around like this.
Ra rubbed his temples at the situation going on. First off, Gexln, the man who's body he had been placed in, ran off to assault Boreal on the grounds of he was in Dale's body, and therefore was compelled by his angst to destroy him. He sighed. Was that man really an S-class? Even if he was powerful, it still seemed odd that he would be placed in a position of high rank. Perhaps there was more to him than met the eye. Gaius too, seemed to be immature at first glance, but he had proven himself on multiple occasions that he was a worthy member of Sapphire Eclipse and Team King. It was possible Gexln acted similarly. Listening to the eccentric girl who had evidently thrown the job request in a paper airplane, she asked if anyone had a compass. "Yes, i carry a compass." He felt in his pocket to retrieve it for her, but found nothing there but half a Dorito. Why that was in Gexln's pocket was a mystery, but he did not have his compass. "Charlotte, if you would?" He said to the woman in his body. He did carry a compass, but he wasn't himself at the moment. She was. However, there was a commotion outside. Boreal landed on the ground outside the guild hall, walking freely. It appeared Gexln had inadvertently freed the man. Damn. This meant they'd have to recapture him. Luckily, he was in a good body for doing so. Melding into the floor as a shadow, he darted along the ground and emerged in front of Boreal, barring his path. "Boreal. You mean to escape your judgement, then? If you flee, then we will be forced to retrieve you and imprison you once more. We defeated you once, and this time i am more powerful than the last time we fought." Listening to the suggestions, Quinn thought it over. it had been about a minute since Cassandra and the others ran in. "A rear strike team wouldn't be a bad idea. If it is a trap, then it's best not all of us fall into it. I'll go in the front with Cassandra. You three look for a rear entrance. Best case scenario, it's not a trap. Still, it's better to be safe." He said, drawing out Veritas and running in after Cassandra. Aias stood silent for most of the conversation prior. He was a man of few words, that was for sure. So, they had the option between not making this choice whatsoever, or risking choosing incorrectly and being unable to marry a woman for the remainder of their lives. Well, he wasn't exactly planning to marry any time soon. However, he'd agreed to come along on this mission. There was no harm in proceeding. "I suppose we shall choose to continue onward. I see no harm in it. I will make the choice when the time comes." He stated. Alright, so in order to prove themselves, they had to fight the second in command. "Wait, so, we have the option of fighting you, or not fighting you and you attacking us so we fight you? Got it." She turned to the rest of the people on the mission. "Alright guys. We should stop for a minute and use our heads here when making the decision." Turning around, she walked up to X and proceeded to bash her forehead against his face, likely breaking his nose. "See? Good plan. I always have good plans. Now, 1v1 us ya scrub. All of us. At the same time."
A slight glimmer appeared in the cave in front of Glen. The dark haired man known as R materialized in front of Glen. "You are correct. Your heart is no longer a hollow replacement to fill the void left in the wake of your destruction. You are your true self once again." It was then that Sapphire entered. "As a result of his demise, He has regained his original self. He is no longer Gexln, but Glen. He is a somebody." Through the Cross-Celestial link he shared with Sapphire, he could feel what she did. He knew the dire situation at the keyblade graveyard. "You must have faith that they can prevail."
Though Akira had asked the question to no one, she got an answer. Not sound was made. Yet, a voice rang out nonetheless. Inside her very mind, someone spoke to her. "Why, I'm right here. Akira, you are the second to find me, yet neither you nor the first have the means of my release." The voice was cool and charismatic. Should one let their guard down, it would be nearly hypnotic from the sound of it alone, and they may end up doing exactly as they were told regardless of what it was. There, away from the light and noise of the outside battle, a man was chained to the wall. He was hidden in shadows, and his face could not be clearly seen. Some of the more obvious features could be made out, though. His hair was long and white, spiking in many directions. He wore a long jacket which covered nearly his entire body and hid anything beneath it. He was bound to the wall by numerous pitch black chains. Solidified darkness to seal him way, completed seven locks, ensuring that he was never released from this location. Though she didn't know it, there was a parasite digging through her mind. It was collecting all her thoughts, memories, and emotions, and giving all the information straight back to the "Hero". He sensed her doubt as to which side to take. It was a simple solution. All he needed to do was convince her of his innocence, and the guilt of the goddess. "Though, unlike the other, you are a hero. Not a villain. I can see it in you. Can you not see that freeing me is the right choice? The goddess sits idle, letting the worlds go to the deaths. She cares only for the world she sits on and claims as her throne. Yet, this is not the whole truth of the matter. The Goddess seeks for all worlds save for Riel to wither and die. Then, there will be only her "paradise". A garden of ignorance, filled with those who worship her in the center of a graveyard of those neglected. She herself was the one who sealed me away. She knew i had the power to save them, and she could not let this happen. If you care to stop this injustice, then return to the fight. Deliver seven wielders of the keyblade to me, and i will right this wrong. You have my word." The words seeped into the deepest recesses of her mind. They carried with them a disease. It was a subtle power at work, so slight that there was nearly no chance she would notice that it was happening, but she was being indoctrinated. One could not help but feel as though this man's will was correct. It was not so difficult to fight off, especially given his sealed state, but why would one fight that which they do not know exists? It was highly inhibited from its full power. The chains were barring him on a metaphysical level. It could not take one's will, but it could steer it in the desired directions. A disease of the mind which, if combined with honeyed words and unwavering charisma, would turn one into a willing slave with them none the wiser. That was the power this man possessed. As Caleb swung the keyblade down at Stratos, a figure rose from the boy's shadow, and parried the attack. "Caleb, do not let your hatred blind you! She has done more than you know! Tell me, do you truly believe that Dane was the only threat to the worlds that ever existed?! Have you ever heard of Xerxes Break? The Hands of Madness? Thanatos? The Bara clan? No. You haven't. They were all evil souls. Dangerous, psychotic people who threatened the balance of the worlds. Some of them were even more dangerous than Dane. Do you know why you have never heard of them? Because they died at my hands. Dane is not the only threat to ever arise. He's simply one that slipped the net. I forsook the name Satsujin long ago. Few know i exist. Fewer believe it. I am the will of the goddess. Her hand that extends where she cannot go. I am Ghost." The assassin said, revealing his identity as the now considered mythical figure who carried out the will of the goddess. Most considered him to be simply propaganda made to scare people into following the path of good. However, the legendary assassin stood here, along with all the other agents of the goddess. "I am giving you a chance. See reason. I beg you. The goddess is not your enemy. She is not your enemy. You and her fight for the same cause, and you seek to turn on her because she isn't doing it well enough? If not being able to wipe out corruption entirely is a crime punishable by death, then you and I are both guilty as well. You should know better than anyone that you cannot save everyone. The only thing you can do is save as many as you can." Ghost raised Narukami and pointed it at Caleb. "You are blinded by your lust for revenge. Against Dane, against anything to do with Dane, even against those who weren't there to stop him! I know what one consumed by their desire for revenge looks like, because i once saw it in myself. Either show me you are the man you once were, or show me that you are beyond saving. Fallen into the depths of what you hoped to destroy, and be cut down like the rest of them." Zavion looked at the fight going on. He'd only heard stories of Bahamut, the legendary dragon controlled by his mother. It was her greatest creation, and where Shinryu was derived from. If the rebellion was going to defeat this thing, it would take all of them. Lexcifur immediately ran to battle against Dane, While Freya seemed to be battling against some of the other members. He could only help one of them. The most obvious choice would be Freya, but the moment he looked at her, he saw something in her heart. It was pride. She knew she had the courage to stand on her own, and he had to trust her to do it. "Stay safe, Freya." Running over toward the other battle, Zavion conjured a massive hand of darkness which flung itself at Dane. Rienzel didn't know any of these people, but he could assess the situation. They were blocking their path from finding the hero. He would fight against them to help save his daughter. There was one in particular who appeared to be causing problems. A girl with red hair, who was evidently the Goddess' own daughter, and a young black haired boy next to her. Both of them could be troublesome, but he had the means to stop them. Pulling a sword hilt from his belt, he charged forward, and slashed at the barrier. As he swung, magic ignited and formed the blade. The barrier was cut through instantly. Barriers ordinarily were formidable defensive measures, but against Rienzel, they were a death sentance. His blade became more powerful because there was a barrier there. Running in, he slashed at Freya's chest. Bartholomew stared around the battlefield, searching for someone. A target was most easily frightened when they were alone, isolated from the others. Hearing explosions in the distance, he looked over to see the burly man facing down the dragon uplift a slab of earth to defend himself from a barrage of oncoming projectiles. Tracing their path to their origin, he found exactly what he was looking for. "Hello...I believe we've met before." The frightening man whispered to himself. He was nice and far away from any help. Just the way he liked his enemies. Summoning a large amount of dark energies, an enormous murder of transient crows lifted him from the ground. Spiraling towards Phantom, Bartholomew laughed. This was going to be an interesting fight, one way or another. There he was, standing there waiting. He knew he'd come. They both knew that this confrontation was going to happen. "Sorry to keep you waiting. Rienzel just didn't seem to want to post." He sarcastically apologized. Although, nothing they said mattered now. Not really. They both knew what needed to happen. They stood opposite eachother, away from the others so they wouldn't be interrupted. Their actions seemed to be mirrored. This battle...It had been a long time coming, and each of the two combatants were prepared for it. A look of effort appeared on their faces. The forces of the universe and all in it were bending to their will. Physics were ceasing to be in the presence. Completing their intended action, they both swiped their hand down in a dramatic fashion and stood with their legs slightly further apart, causing dust to fly off them from that slight bit of motion. Their hair just seemed to begin to defy all logic and reason in way indescribable by any language but their own (Which didn't even really consist of words). Their coats seemed normal until the bottom half. At that point, it just seemed to spike away from them as though there were wire in it, forcing it into a specific shape. However, there was nothing causing this spike in their coat, it simply existed. Each extended their hand toward the other, and a circular device on their wrist spat out a curved extension that ran the length of their forearm. Yes. They were settling things in the only way they knew how. It was time to duel. "Duel!" "Duel!" Beuce: 8000 *5 Lucien: 8000 *5
Best Hero/Sidekick duo?
Ra looked over at his own body. Damn he was sexy. He could see why Cal wanted to tap that. It appeared that the one who had inherited his form was Charlotte. In truth, he was relieved. Out of all the people who could have been placed in it, she was likely the most trustworthy. He trusted each of the members of team king with his life, just...not his reputation. Charlotte, however, was an exception. They were fairly similar in nature. Despite popular belief, he did have traits aside from wear a "bird suit". "I believe the first course of action should be to investigate this job request which caused the change. Afterwards, seeking a solution will prove to be a simpler task due to knowledge of the cause." Ra suggested to the group while glaring at the zipper on his scarf, still irritated at the nonsensical nature of such a device. He suddenly felt the irresistible urge to defeat it through use of dark tears in space to become stronger....odd. Beucette looked at the girl with a giant ass shield who had saved her ass. "Yo. Thanks a million." The whale seemed to be suspiciously hurt by that last round. After looking at the battle post, she realized that Scarlett had done double damage for being inside the whale. "Aw what? Man that ***** is doing too much damage i need to go and get double too." Leaping off the boat in a cannon ball fashion, the whale jumped out of the water like Free Willy Cat and ate her. Man, she hoped that she didn't get reported for intentional feeding...Looking around, she noticed that she was with Scarlett and Calxiyn. "Man. This place is tight...and wet...and warm...( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)" Beucette used sliding dash. Aias used barrier surge and blocked for Lucia. Quinn's eyes widened as a wooden flute dropped from a man's pocket. He wasn't exactly the most magically inclined, but his gut told him that thing was bad news. Quinn drew one of his pistols, Veritas, and began shooting at him. However, none of the bullets hit. He grabbed X and then vanished into thin air. Cursing under his breath, he put away the pistol once again. "Hey, who was that guy? Did he say anything that might tell us where he's going? We need to hurry, if we're going to catch him."
And Canadians make fun of us for not knowing geometry
Ra covered his eye at the flash of light. When he opened them, the world around seemed to be altogether different. Everything was taller. Displaced. He looked down to find that he was a fair few inches shorter, and wearing different clothing, instead of his armor. One such article was a scarf. Why the devil did such a thing have a zipper on it? It made no sense. Especially in that position. It was right in the middle of the scarf. You would have to fold it first, then put it on if you were to wear it via use of the zipper. It was simply unproductive. nonsensical zippers aside, this had told him that he was now, in fact, in Gexn's body. One of the S-class members that had been with them. He looked around at all the others, in a similar state of confusion. The most interesting of the transformations was that Mikasa now seemed to be in the body of Gexln's cat. "A curse that switches bodies...And attached to a job request? Who would send this to us? and more importantly, why? What could they possibly hope to gain by causing us to change bodies unless there's some secondary effect to the spell?" Ra pondered. In any case, the first thing they would have to do would be get used to their new, hopefully temporary, bodies. He took a few steps and stretched his shoulder. It felt...Odd being in another's body. His legs, his arms, Nothing was the right length. He felt restrained. And the hair he saw in the corner of his eye was a dark brown, rather than golden. These could be adjusted to without a large amount of difficulty, but it was simply odd. A thought occurred to him. They'd changed bodies, but had the changed abilities as well? He could feel magic power inside of himself. It was far greater than ordinary, likely implying the strength of Gexln. In his hand, he gathered up power, and made a quick jab forward. Darkness coated his hand and guided his fist forward, before dissipating on reaching the full length. Had it connected with anything other than the air, it surely would have caused quite a bit of damage. "So we have indeed switched our magics as well...It goes without saying we won't be able to use them to the proficiency of their original wielder, regardless of the transference. If we prove unable to solve this issue with haste, it would be wise to attempt to train one another in the use of our skills, should the need for combat arise."
Aias stood from the kneeling position he had been in while protecting Rho. The onslaught had been defended against, and successfully held off. Now it was time to return to the offensive. "I will return to your side, should you need it." He promised his current charge. Cloaking himself in flames, he charged through the beast, then returned to the boat. Looking around for wounded, he found that the worst off was a purple haired girl. One who had previously done the most damage to the beast. In an instant, he was at her side. For someone with no speed he moves really fast. Aias used fire surge and blocked for Lucia "Yeah let's blow this fucker up after we kill it! I mean, what else would we do with a whale corpse? Clearly this is the only reasonable solution." Beucette said as she somehow not only used ego, but HURLED THAT MOTHER FUCKER LIKE A GODDAMN FRISBEE AND FLUNG IT STRAIGHT AT THE WHALE AND WHAT THE FUCK PHYSICS ARE NOT APPLYING IN THIS SITUATION ESPECIALLY WHEN IT COMES BACK TO HER AND SHE CATCHES IT AND JESUS CHRIST THIS MAKES NO SENSE WHATSOEVER Ahem. She used strike raid. yup
Ezekiel was like unconscious and ****. that's really all that happened 10/10 quality post Aias stared at the creature which assaulted their ship. It was an odd one at that, but nevertheless it had to be stopped. Running gracefully toward the edge of the ship. Leaping up, he kicked off the rail, launching himself at the whale. Light coated his body as he drove his shoulder into the beast. With the light coating his body, he kicked off of the whale's face. Doing a backflip in the air, he gracefully landed back on the deck of the ship. Looking over, he quickly found someone to guard and make the most of his brief invulnerability. This person happened to be Rho. Aias Barrier surged and then blocked for Rho. "There it is. The great beast of legend. The blue-eyes white whale! A creature so derpy, there is only one being in existence capable of rivaling it. My cousin once told me about such a being. It was capable of moving at mach speeds, but only in a single frame of animation" Beucette exclaimed in awe at the whale's emergence. Lifting her massive blade with ease, she leaped out to sea and slid on the water because logic. She couldn't even just ninja run like other people. Damn Aias and his ninja motions. Quinn stood by Cassandra when they exited the train. He sighed and scratched the back of his head. "This is going to be a handful." Running after Cassandra, they were approached by a dark haired tan man who looked like he was part planet. Wait what? "If we're both looking for someone, then i guess it can't hurt to search together." Quinn said, basically stating the same thing as Aoki. "Where should we start searching, then?"
Orpheus listened to Alastor as he went over the dossiers of each potential guild recruit. Each of them was a madman. A blight on society, and a criminal feared by all but the most lionhearted. It would appear that his task was to overtake the enigmatic man known as The Warden. Orpheus picked up the photograph and studied it closer. He seemed to have been involved in some kind of accident to horribly damage his face, although that likely added to his reputation. "He will be ours, by bond of word of blood. I have a feeling we'll need the first two in order to overcome the duo. They seem like the most dangerous of the lot. Not to mention their superb magic resistance would prove...problematic for the two of us. No matter. We will enlist them, and we will rise up through the pages of history as one of the great dark guilds." Orpheus waved his hand and a miasma of black smoke gathered. Bones that were black as sin began forming from it, creating Orpheus' unholy steed, Despair. Mounting the skeletal horse, Orpheus turned briefly to Alastor. "Oh and, do try not to get yourself killed. You'll make a much better guild master than you will undead. I'd prefer to have you at your best." With a grim statement that was indistinguishable from dark humor and a genuine "good luck", Orpheus rode his black steed into a dark portal. This "warden" would be an interesting character, to say the least.
