Right as the horseman had chosen him as the target for his attack, Kel had managed to react as to mitigate some of the damage dealt with him. The damage had been rather minuscule which did nothing to stop him from forming a barrier around himself and ramming into the horseman. Kel used Barrier Surge Post: 6/31
With no choice but to run after Ratcliffe and his men, they arrived at the meeting place in which war continued to rear its ugly head. It was at the stage were words appeared to be lost of the two groups, they would only listen to action. Then the horseman himself made an appearance, indeed not having a head. Kel was a little unnerved at the sight now seeing it first hand, but he shook away those nerves and attacked with Zantesuken. The standard opening move for him. Kel used Zantesuken Post: 6/31

Silver wasn't sure at what point it had happened, but he'd started to tune out everything Lingo was saying to him. It'd gotten to the point where it was just his lips moving at an unreasonably fast pace for a human. Figures that this would be one of the people who directly tried speaking with him. Now despite sitting down someone had actually managed to bump into him. A comparative slight annoyance all things considered, but he was momentarily thrown off by the girl's quick apologies. Silver then lifted his head up and rested it in the palm of his hand. "It's fine." There had been a pause between Lingo's speaking and that had ironically been what caught his attention the most. "Silver, that's my name." Said in a matter of fact tone before falling back to silence. His eyes drifted back over to the fight that was still being egged on despite nothing having happened for a bit.
With a nod Chrono had stood up and moved towards the door, he'd tried not to think about it too much lest add it to the list of things running about in his head, but her lack of food was had always been a concern. The smell of breakfast being faint but still made it through the closed door, which could help with that. "Yeah, smells like it is." The smell had become stronger when Chrono opened the door, further emphasizing the point. Returning to the living room to the egg breakfast that had been set up for them. He hadn't been expecting to see so many eggs, but still not complaining about it. He merely went about fixing his food and finding himself a place to sit to eat.
It may not have been nominated, but long live Arch Hates Bueno!
The dark aura had flared up once again around Ratcliffe as it was made even clearer that he had no intent on avoiding a path of a war. It didn't take a genius to see how a confrontation between to two would end. "Just take a moment to stop and swallow that ego of yours and think! Is gold really worth all this." By this point, Kel had taken up a position next to Aislinn and while his keyblade wasn't drawn like hers, he was just as ready to draw it at a moments notice. They did not have time to deal with this, they were working by the clock and they were running out of time with each passing second. Post: 5/31
Chrono had let his sister go once she had composed herself. "That's fine, don't push yourself though." Seeing as they had just gotten back to a good standing and it would seriously suck for this to get ruined cause she was forcing herself for his sake. He didn't think that the next she would ask him was to help facilitate interaction between herself and Torin. he understood why however and nodded. "Sure, shouldn't be too hard if we can just get you both talking." At the very least, it would be a start.
While admittedly even if the dark aura hadn't been around Ratcliffe, Kel didn't doubt a possibility of him trying to attack the natives regardless. Though the aura did allow for a possibility for that to no be the case. "Going to war isn't going to solve anything, especially not with what's going on the Native's side." Whether or not they listened or ignored them was not the focus, getting their point across was. "Is this gold really worth spilling blood over?!" Post: 4/31
Zephyr hadn't said anything when Midarah alone had been called back into the room. He could guess why it was the case but said nothing to about it. Nor did he speak to Gavin or Thea while they waited. The minutes indeed seemed to drag on until Midarah had returned with good news. The house arrest aside Izra would be coming back with them at least and that was good. Same with Maliel and the others. Long as they weren't being left directly in the care of the Council. The sight of Izra though was a different matter. She clearly had treated as a criminal and all for upholding the 'justice' the council believe in. None of it sat well with Zephyr, not at all. It made the fact that she was coming back with them all the better. A simple nod was what he offered to Gavin in response to Thea being happy before he too approached Izra. "We should probably get you some rest first when we get back."
Kel had given Luna a look that was a mixture of surprise and confusion. It sounded like she's seen this horseman before. "You think he's after Pocahontas as well?" It made sense and certainly fit with how Luna was reacting. If so, taking into account that Pocahontas is a Princess of Heart, then they needed to do something about that as well. Stopping a war and hunting down a horseman, so much to do in so little time. It didn't impede on their current destination, in fact, they could come across the horseman while on their way.
Having been given no answer to his question, Gale was left to assume that it was possible for them to use each others element as a form of transportation. He didn't have much of a response to Raelyn's remark about them being boring and instead managed to force out a chuckle. An awkward one, but a chuckle regardless of how one chose to look at it. Lasting no more than a few seconds, it had ended and it was back to keeping an eye out for those memory shards. After a bit of more walking and questions, the first memory shard had been found. "Why not give it to Raelyn." Gale suggested. She had been one of the more vocal ones who wanted their memories back and while he was still curious about his own past, the lack of urgency on his part made it feel wrong to take this chance from someone else right off the bat.
At present Chrono continued to hold his sister through her tears. His efforts to get through to her had finally bore fruit and he couldn't be happier about it. It had left a warm feeling in his chest to see his attempts to help someone close to him succeed."Take as much time as you need." He wasn't going anywhere anytime soon, nor had anyone come by to let them know that breakfast was ready. Not that he was in any rush for that matter.
Unfortunately Aislinn was right. There was no way that Radcliff was going to listen to either Aislinn or Luna and there was only a slightly greater chance that he'd listen to him. However, as it was a slight chance the odds of it coming true were extremely slim. Neither party was going to listen to them left them with very little options on what to do right now. The horseman was their best chance provided Nanaki could tell them guide them to him.
Zephyr strongly felt the urge to bark back at the council and not simply take this lying down, but he restrained himself. If he lashed out then it would only hurt the chances of helping Izra and the others. Once out of the courtroom, the first thing Zephyr had done was to punch the wall closest to him. His frustration still remained despite it being lessened by his act of aggression. "I'll be fine." He just needed some time to cool off and that was all. He would most certainly need that time before going back into that room.
Chrono had found himself becoming engrossed in the music partway through the song. The purpose behind this hadn't been forgotten, but it would be hard to focus on her while playing his song. He continued to play and only stopped when the song itself had reached its ending. That had been when he'd put the violin down and looked to Tinarah. Tears were streaming down her face, the sounds of her cries reaching him loud and clear. Chrono got off the bed and simply strode over to his crying sister and pulled her into a hug. "Just like I said before, I'll be by your side as long as you need me to be." And just like before, he'd meant it when he'd said it now too.
"Greatly underestimated." Kel couldn't help but too correct John in that regard. Before they could truly relax though, the drums from earlier had returned and in tow were the natives. There was a clear misunderstanding that had occurred that the chief seems to not what to hear their side of it. What more, the dark aura that briefly flared about him was very alarming. "Great, things just took a turn for the worse." They couldn't just stand around and let John get executed when he had less to do with what happened to Kocoum and his men. Nanaki had returned following the aftermath of all that and out of everything that was told to them the fact that there was some sort of horsemen running around without a head wasn't hard to believe. Still surprising to hear though. With an affirmed nod, Kel looked towards Aislinn and Luna. "You heard him, let's see if we can stop at least one of these group from fighting."
She was lying, it was easy for him to tell that much. "We'll probably leave after we eat, but first come here," Chrono answered, motioning for her to follow him. Slowly she did get up but practically dragged herself along behind him. He started to recognize what was going on and had come up with a few ways to help. He motioned to get Torrin's attention and said, "Save us a plate." once he'd had it. With Tinarah walking at the pace she was, Chrono had plenty of time to make it to the room she had been using and refamiliarize himself with how to use a violin. It had taken just long enough for Tinarah to enter the room for him to have familiarized himself with most of it. "Good, now I want you to remember," Chrono said, allowing himself to trail off as he said nothing further. With the violin resting underneath his chin and the bow in his other hand, he started to play. His intent itself was simple. As he was currently playing the same song he'd play when he' offered her lesson to keep her happy till their mother actually taught her, maybe with the thing the more pleasant memories they had would return and help with her state of being. In the even this wouldn't be the only thing it could take, he had some follow up ideas in mind that he could fall back on.
"This one's mine!" Kel had made the next strike on the battleship while it wasn't looking. Despite being of the same kind of heartless as the one that they had only recently defeated, this one looked like it was only slightly smaller than its predecessor. Would that make it a jr then? An odd thing to think about at this point in time, but overall something he briefly had considered. Following his fight strike, he followed it up with a horizontal strike that very quickly turned into a flurry of strikes that smacked around the largish sized heartless. The finishing blow was a heavy strike that sent it flying into the last remaining heartless. Gale hadn't been expecting his simple question to turn into geography lesson, but regardless he had listen in. It was informative, to say the least but the fact that they could use their elements as transportation. "Can any of us ride a fireball or just us." Gale motioned to himself an Rex. Dot may have said that each element could suffice for transportation and disregard that he couldn't ride a skateboard, not that he could remember anyway. if someone couldn't use their magic for whatever reason, knowing this would be helpful, to say the least. During this Evie had made her way back over to him, muttering something about not being fond of the dark. Understandable and Gale didn't mind it. Much like Raelyn had said, he too wanted to know who he was as well. Going on the off chance that these shards were something that he could find just lying about around a tree, Gale had gone there and started to look there first. If he was lucky, by the time Dot had got over to where he was it might've picked up the signal to a memory shard being nearby.
