Julius was always one who was usually fashionably late (not by choice) but surprisingly he had reached the camp far earlier than he ever expected, but it was a little too early. To say the least the man wasn't really all too thrilled with this camp and he really didn't exactly know why he even took the job in the first place. Regardless in the end he chose to take part in whipping these kids into shape and he was definitely going to do so. When he began to think of it further he really found the idea of this quite enjoyable really. Julius began to realize that maybe he was just overreacting and upon further thought this camp would actually be quite fun. He walked into a cabin with a calm smile, but then... "Wait...what the hell?" Jullius muttered as he read the note that was left for him Spoiler: Note Dear Julius, I know I told you this was a boot camp to train fat people....but I lied. "...what the hell do you mean this isn't a boot camp...if it isn't a boot camp then what the hell kind of a camp is this" Julius muttered as he read the rest of the note Spoiler: Rest of the note You see, this camp is known as Fortissimo Academy, a wondrous musical place where musicians gather together and play music to their hearts content...a perfect place for you to learn to deal with others wouldn't you say Julius? Julius' eye immediately began to twitch upon reading the note and all sorts of feeling entered his body "A...musical camp?!.....oh god please don't tell me we are all going to be bursting into song and singing away our problems...damn ******* trying to spite me" Julius muttered silently as his temper rose, but suddenly something written on the back of the note caught his attention. Spoiler: P.S I left you a book to help you out. It will tell you all you need about the camp...but mostly its tells you how to react with these kids. Goodluck! Finishing the note Julius immediately ripped apart the note and tossed the remains away in the trash (cause Julius is a badass mofo that doesn't litter). Letting another groan Julius noticed the book on a nearby table and though he hated to admit it, the book was his only hope. He knew absolutely nothing about this camp and he certainly didn't know how to really be any form of staff. And so Julius began to read the book throughout the morning. "Be nice to your students and they will be nice to you, show them encouragement and a bond of trust will be formed....what kind of dumbass wrote this book" Julius said as his eye twitched as he flipped the page and continued to read. Time passed and soon enough Julius finished the damn book with only the basics of the camp memorized. His grumpy mood had vanished now that his body had the time to fully awaken itself. Recently for the man sleep wasn't really something he found easy to come by. What made it difficult for him to sleep was the odd dreams that he had, they weren't nightmares....just really weird. It involved two idiots basically yelling and fighting each other and it was really starting to piss him off. Regardless at the moment, though he couldn't say he was fully ready, he was still prepared for the kids...but not really for the musicals. He exited the cabin he was in and with book in hand he headed towards where the other staff and councillors were to meet. So far he seemed like the oldest one of the bunch and some of them were quite nervous. He gave a few of them some small encouraging words but most of the time he was still trying to read through the whole "Bonding with your students" section of the book. When he deemed this part of the book to be useless and the fact that the so called students were arriving, Julius immediately groaned as he tossed the book over his shoulder and behind him. Upon completing this action he heard somebody yelled in pain as if something hit their head so Julius merely let out whistle and acted as if nothing went wrong.
Septimus' eye immediately twitched upon the mention of Septic tank and before he could even say anything the peculiar message reached his phone and the dire situation reached him "Right" Septimus said as he glanced over at Bernie with a nod as the two rushed out and headed towards the van. In the end this whole entire separation thing was pointless due to the bloody fact that they all just returned back to each other when danger actually friggin arrived.
Septimus' blue eyes locked onto her's upon her reply. She acted so calm and so cheerful, it was so odd in his eyes and he really had no idea about how to really react to it. They were teens that had learned so much about this world, they learned that this world was fake and that soon enough they would fade away with it...but why was she so happy despite this fact? This happiness was...refreshing, and surprisingly a small smile appeared on his face as he gazed over at the girl trying on the sunglasses "It looks nice" Septimus said softly. He heard her address her name as Bernie, and if she liked being called that then he wouldn't mind calling her by that name. "Right...though I don't have such a nick name for my name Septimus...so you may call me whatever you wish....so long as it is not ridiculous" Septimus said. This change of pace really felt....nice.
He really hated to be a downer....well not really...but regardless it was a nice moment that he wished not to ruin with unpleasantness, especially with how happy Bernadette was. Regardless he couldn't really wast much time and he rather do this before they day ended or a certain somebody got drunk and passed out. "yeah...Bernadette...do you remember that book we found?" Septimus asked the girl as they walked on. He didn't know if talking about this game would upset her or not, but he still needed to do something "Me, you and Quintus were the only ones to know about it...first of all I wish for you to keep it a secret from the other..." Septimus said before glancing over at her "Second of all do you recall what that book said about cracks in the gameboard? I believe our next course of action should be to see if we can find one...This Percival....I believe it could be similar to the Brookridge Academy of Excellence for boys..." Septimus said quietly to her. He made sure to keep an eye out for anybody suspicious as he spoke and did his best to not let anybody else hear.
Septimus listened to her words and nodded. It was apparent that she was a foreigner and with this whole entire game going on things must have been quite difficult for her. As left and returned to their seat a question reached him and he began to ponder what they really needed to do next. They needed to plan out what they were to do next and there was a big reason why he chose Bernadette as his partner for this little separation. Normally this separation was not the brightest idea and had they not teamed up earlier those fools at the hotel would have found themselves dead. Regardless he needed to converse with Bernadette about an issue he had in mind. "Let us walk" Septimus said as he got up and glanced over at Bernadette. Staying in one spot was not the greatest idea.
Soon enough Septimus was dragged over towards a chinese vendor and being the gentlemen he is he decided to pay for the meal Bernadette bought. Having felt no feeling of hunger, Septimus did not buy anything for himself and followed her to a booth as he sat with her. He silently sat down and crossed his arms as he sat across Bernadette and watched her eat her food calmly. Deciding to pair up with her....it probably wasn't such a great idea. He never really dealt with many women and the women he usually did deal with were usually bitchy. Had it been those kind of women he wouldn't have really hesitated to go about with his plan, but unlike those women this girl was nice...and he really didn't know what to say to this. Soon enough the girl spoke to him and Septimus sudden froze for a mere second and looked over to the side "errrr....its been fine" Septimus said silently to the girl unsure of what to say next to the girl. What was he to say next? he had absolutely no clue. The awkwardness was something dreadful and he really loathed it. "errr...and...you?" Septimus said saying the only thing he could at the moment.
Septimus walked on with the girl and once they walked in the mall they were welcomed with the delicious smell of the food court. He was quite surprised to see the mall so full, but they had their own task so Septimus decided to keep to it. Before he could even say anything to the girl he accompanied the girl had already gone off and gotten herself a cappuccino. He didn't necessarily get angry or annoyed considering they really didn't have much time to eat or relax, so he didn't say anything about it and let her go about with what she was doing. As he stood silently, Septimus listened to the girl as she pointed out their next destination and before he could say or do anything his hand was grabbed and he was pulled along with her towards the food vendor. "I...umm...." Septimus mumbled quietly as he was dragged along. The situation was unlike any he really encountered...and his experience with women were few. He felt he should have said something, but his social skills were horrible and for now he just remained silent as he let out a sigh and closed his eyes as he was pulled along without resistance.
Septimus watched Temperance bitch on and merely narrowed his eyes at her with a smile that one would merely stare at a pitiful clown with. "hmph....how disgusting" Septimus said silently to himself as the smile faded. With their departure Septimus walked out of the van and glanced over at Bernadette "well then shall we depart?" Septimus said as he glanced back at Harley and Marina and gave them a nod in farewell as he grabbed Bernadette's hand and gently pulled her along towards one of the entrances
He listened to her words and for once a smile crept across his face and Septimus suddenly let out a small chuckle as he listened to the girls words. It amused him that they actually believed he wished to talk to Crestatia about Devyn and her men. They've all been playing this game far more then he has and this was their extent? just hiding in the mall....what good will that do really? how would that advance the gameboard what so ever? Devyn was in the lead cause she utalized her assets, she took advantage of Crestatia and the one named Chester as well. Devyn knew Crestatia far too well and she must have met her numerous times in order to grasp her personality like that. Judging by that information he deemed that summoning her must have been not as difficult as he thought it would have been.It was things like this that made him not wish to tell them what was in the book. Nonetheless he once again let out a chuckle as he parked the van like Temperance said "Very well then, I'll go with your....mediocre plan" Septimus said closing his eyes with a smile "well now before we move do we have any objections? If we are pair up then I would like to pair up with Bernadette" Septimus said
Septimus only continued to drive on to get as far away from the scene as possible. As he drove he listened to the words of Marina and could only let out a sigh upon hearing her disagree with Harley. It wasn't that he disagreed with her, it was the fact that they were disorganized and not as well thought out as they thought they were. They needed a plan, and fast. For now Septimus drove on in order to get away from their pursuers. The van was quiet so Septimus decided to place the radio on ♪ "........no" Septimus said changing the station ♪ ".....tempting....but nah" Septimus said siletnly changing the station once more ♪ "....I guess it will do...we need something cheerful..." Septimus said keeping his eyes on the road as he drove on. There were certain things that bothered him and one of those things sat behind him "Now...If I may...I'd like to address two issues...Fist of all, who is this newcomer" Septimus said. He'd rather at least know who was sitting behind him and at least be able to deem his as non threatening. Had he not been driving a gun would have already been drawn. "Second of all what now? merely cower and run each time somebody appears? We need to do something now before the situation grows out of our control" Septimus said before letting out a sigh. "If you want my opinion I'd say we should think about summoning the demoness" Septimus said calmly.
12 With everybody in, Septimus pressed a button and the door closed (cause Septimus buys the technical shit) and immediately began to press the gas and proceeded forward and follow the direction Harley directed him. Speed wasn't an issue for him since all the police officers were busy heading towards the hotel and couldn't just waste time going after a mere van.
Goddamn it shut the hell up This was all Septimus could really think as the jolly fat man continued to talk and hold onto the keys. Time was definitely not something that should be wasted, but he couldn't look too suspicious. Giving the man an emotionless stare the conversation soon came to an end and Septimus received the keys and was off. Septimus never really had experience driving a van, but he could gladly say at least he had enough experience from driving other vehicles. As he drove on he noticed the police up ahead and dread filled the violet hair teen instantly "not good" Septimus said. The police were definitely no interested in what he was doing and was heading the exact same direction as he was. As much as he wished to speed towards the hotel he had to be careful not to attract attention. As he drove a message arrived and Septimus immediately read it. His fears were deemed correct and Septimus narrowed his eyes. "Damn" Septimus muttered as he sped up towards the designated meeting spot and slammed the brakes upon reaching it. Upon seeing his aquaintences Septimus immediately opened the door "Quick! Get in!" The Septidriver yelled.
"How about $30,000?" ".........." "ohohoh? your a tough one....how about $25,000?" ".........." ".....your quite the negotiator....$22,000?" ".........." "Alright fine! $20,000 and thats my final offer" ".......good enough" "Great! now Mr. Solomon would you please follow me as we fill out some forms and speak of payment" Listening to the jolly fat man that looked nothing like Santa Claus, Septimus let out a sigh as as he nodded and followed the man into the office. Haven woken up quite early in the morning, Septimus worked along side Harley and managed to finally sort the problem they had with id and other important documents. The name he went by on his fake ID was that of Setanta Solomon, a 25 year old traveller that had arrived with a few friends. He was always said to look older than he truly was and because of this it only made the deceit much more stronger. As he took a seat and awaited the paperwork, Septimus took out his phone and began to type a message over to Harley The message was small but it was merely an attempt to get the point over at Harley. Since they were being apparently followed they had to stay cautious even when sending messages such as the one he just sent. The vehicle he chose was a minivan which was in great condition. With the eight of them they really needed something they didn't have to squish into and something that would also be able to carry their stuff. He could have gone for something used, but with their situation they really couldn't afford to buy something that could possibly breakdown on them. Once the paperwork arrived and the payment issue was over, the two shook hands and Septimus obtained himself a vehicle.
This trip was nothing but headache inducing...thank the gods these girls did not wish to run off and do some next girly shit. When they got to checkout Septimus began to rummage through what they needed and what they didn't need but because of how late it got he really did not have much time to do so. In the end most of the stuff was bought, but the useless stuff and anything that took up far too much space was tossed out. The Jessie girl was gone and in the end Septimus was loaded up like a packmule and forced to carry all the stuff....what was he? Septimule? Regardless he did not complain and walked on with the two girls. His phone began to vibrate and signal a message, but his hands were too full for him to actually answer it. He walked up the hotel and once they got to the hotel Septimus managed to get the door open. Mostly everybody had gone to sleep but Septimus had noticed Harley was at least awake "Sorry for being so late" Septimus said closing his eyes with the annoyed look still on his face. The day was just far too annoying and he really knew that this was only the beginning. Placing away the stuff they bought, Septimus head to the sofa he slept on before and sighed as he collapsed on it as he rubbed his temples as he soon drifted off to sleep
Septimus merely silently followed along side the others as they walked down the isles. He figured things would be annoying and in the end he was totally right. He closed his eyes and rubbed his temples as he followed them and groaned. At first he had been placing the necessities into the cart, but once Marina took charge he really felt that there wasn't even any point in him placing anything in the cart. He heard Temperance complain, but this time he actually had to agree with the girl. The stuff they were getting was far too numerous and they were really starting to pick up useless crap. When Septimus opened his eyes and witnessed her placing the shoes he really realized he had to say something "Don't pick useless crap...remember our situation and the fact that we have to carry all this stuff" Septimus said coldly. They were apparently being followed and if they had to carry around useless shit then he feared for their safety. When Septimus heard Jessie speak he let out a sigh and was grateful somebody was doing something smart.
Septimus had glanced over at Harley as he spoke about Crestatia and what kind of person he thought she was. The name Devyn was new to him and at this point he could only assume that this Devyn was the same person that loved Chester. A topic caught his attention and though he wished to speak about it, he felt it wasn't the right time and decided to hold his question for later. Closing his eyes Septimus began to listen to the others speak on about how some of them needed some medical care. He listened to the words of the woman named Marina, but in the end he was not so thrilled about the little arrangements that were set up. The plan was...not really thought out as well and he questioned how the hell they planned to even get any form of medical care without any form of id. It was poorly thought...but at this point he really couldn't do better and felt it was really their problem to deal with. His problem unfortunately was the other three that he had to team up with. He was to team up with a rich girl, an ambiguous girl...er..boy...thing...and a bitch. He didn't say anything, but merely let out a sigh as he rubbed his temples for a second. He could handle the rich girl and the girl...boy...thing seemed to be somebody he could manage as welll....it was just the bitch that he just could not stand. She was loud, rude, and just simply an eyesore. In the end he really didn't have much he could really do and so he merely accepted these terms and decided it would be best to just head off. Maybe merely ignoring the bitch would be enough, but regardless he was sure not to let her push him around so easily. "Very well then...we will meet back later" Septimus said calmly to the others that were to head to the clinic as he simply walked past Temperance and towards the door, ready to leave with or without the others.
Septimus was up bright a early before everybody else and stood outside on the balcony of the room. The air was cold, but the scenery was quite nice. Being outside relaxed his and with a sigh he stood there for at least an hour. The topic about the entire game raged in his mind and as he stared out at the scenery he continued to think about the strange book that Quintus read. The author was sure to be from this time and not from the past. From what he deduced the author was a woman who cared for the person named Chester a great deal...possibly a mother or older sister?...no...she stated she was his lover. She stated how the romance rule was easy to break...yet she spoke of her love...as if it were an example....not only that but she also stated that she has also been fighting as well...was she really a part of this game as well? Whatever the case was he knew that this woman was still alive and this Chester was now dead due to Quintus. The Crestatia person surely had to be the C person that sent him his email. She was a demon that possessed a human soul. She was the game master of this game and if that was so then who were the the players? The woman stated that there were pawns and players and that she wished to be a future player....so what did that mean? did it mean she was a pawn? or to further that were they all pawn? if so...just when were the players going to make their scene? Another thing that his mind recalled was about the certain cracks that had been made. If Crestatia changes things to move the game further and if the cracks left behind were important then surely this city would need to be researched on. What if this city was created or changed like Brookridge Academy of Excellency for boys was. Would he find a crack like the woman did when she found that book? The cracks were important...but if they were able to bring about chaos then it was surely something that had to be rare and hard to find. Septimus closed his eyes and shook his head with a sigh. Scratching the back off his head he soon realized that mostly everybody was up and stared at them calmly ".....morning" Septimus said as his eyes drifted off to the sudden sound of vomiting coming from the washroom. He stared at it for a bit and pondered if he should go...what was the word?....umm....crap....he started thinking about it for a while until he realized it was the word "comfort". He was surely one who wasn't remotely good at doing that. He had tried doing that before...but in the end the people he tried to comfort reverted to an even worse state and turned to a blubbering state. For now his attention was caught by the camping idea.
Septimus though heard somebody speaking earlier at what he thought was saying something about an orgy, but in the end his mind tuned it out and he went along with what he was doing with the other. After handing over the money that was needed Septimus walked along with the others and entered the room that they obtained. Sharing really was their only option at the moment. They really couldn't afford to stay separated and it would have been far more costly to merely book more room. The room had three beds and it was obvious that all of them were not gaining a bed. Septimus really did not feel right about having the ladies and weakened sleep on anything else that was not a bed so Septimus merely chose to sleep on a nearby sofa. Without a word Septimus collapsed on the chair and closed his eyes as he drifted off to sleep.
The hushed tone of the girl named Madeline caught his attention and his eyes trailed over towards where the girl was directing to, Septimus raised an eyebrow at the sudden scene of blood on the windshield of the bus. It was only a mere moment since they merely got out of the bus and already this had happened. None of the other civilians had managed to notice the blood so far, so for the moment they were safe. Septimus knew this would definitely not last long an for now they needed to get out immediately before the police arrived. Sure there really was not much proof that would lead to their arrest, but the questioning of the police would be a tedious and wasteful moment. Following Harley's words, Septimus followed the others and silently walked along with the others. "Money should not be an issue at the moment" Septimus told Harley calmly as he glanced forward a bit. "At the moment I have a good share of cash on me...a simple visit to the bank would remedy any other future outcome...but regardless we should still be wary of our spending in case we should run out when we most need it" Septimus said calmly. Money was a trivial thing that was needed to survive, but it was something Septimus wasn't really all that stingy about. "A hotel would be the best place to head off to...that way we have a place to stay and we do not have to move around in such a big group" Septimus said warily in case other civilians had been keeping tabs on them.
Wait awaited him next was the group walking out of the building with a very distraught and distasteful aura. Quintus was not among them and as he stood with his arms crossed he merely closing his eyes calmly. It was not cowardliness that prevented him from entering and even so he never truly felt any real fear. He knew his life was in great danger and he knew what they were off to do would practically welcome that death. He felt it far to early for him to have done such a rash thing and to be honest he felt no obligation to do so. These people that killed off the one named Chester...it was their event and he would leave them be. The book that was read brought an interesting thought about this so called game that they considered life. For now he would merely keep this information to himself, until he felt the time was really needed. He would die if this kept up...the past months he had lived past had only been what he felt...no knew was pity. He will stick by these people and made use of whatever they had. They knew more and experienced more things in this game and he would be a fool to merely throw away all this. A bus arrived and without a word Septimus entered the bus and silently took a seat alone with his arms crossed. The sadness and despair that the people felt was far too clear, but there was nothing he could do. Such an ignorant person such as himself saying anything would be worth nothing and in general he wasn't really the comforting type. True they felt sadness about the girl, but for him he only felt what he believed to be relief. She risked her life and sacrificed it in order for them to remain safe, it was a selfish thought, but no human could ever say they were plagued by selfishness. Survival was unknown, but he did wonder deeply about the fate of Quintus. It...humoured him...
