You're caught up in the belief that "If I wait long enough, this person will TOTALLY find me attractive" meanwhile that person is ****ing god knows how much other people that aren't you. While that person is moving on having relationships, you're waiting for this one person to look back at you. But it's generally advised to look forward and not back in life.
There is no such thing as "putting someone in the freindzone" People put themselves in the freindzone by continuing to be romantically interested in someone who has essentially made a point of saying "You're cool, but I'd never **** you".
