Like you said, it depends on the player. DmC's difficulty is a flaw. For someone who doesn't play games for difficulty purposes this is not a major flaw For someone like me who does then yes it is You can love a game despite it's flaws but you're not obliged to. If exploration is the MINIMUM you expect from a Final Fantasy game and Final Fantasy XIII doesn't give you that then that's that, Final Fantasy XIII has been ruined for you and you have every right to feel that way because the game failed to meet the bare minimum of what you expected out of Final Fantasy game. DmC is an action game. It failed to meet the mimimum for a good action game due to several flaws. Thus the game is ruined for me You can have the most beautiful documentary ever with the greatest actors and the crispest sound but if the actually documenting part isn't there then it's a bad documentary and you have every right to not want to watch it.
If you're going to use it in a joking manner then go ahead If you're going to use it as a means to substitute and actual rebbutal then go ahead You also still haven't answered my question as to what you constitute a real flaw in a game. Such as? God of War and Devil May Cry 3 are RADICALLY different games.

Actually, it looks like YOU'RE trying to look for an excuse to ignore the problem by saying "everyone else sucks ass at it therefore this is totally okay" 1. This is on the hardest difficulty 2. This is on the hardest difficulty 3. This on the hardest difficulty 4. This is on the hardest diffictuly Do you want me to show you every other boss fight in the game on the hardest difficulty? Why the hell would I do that when you know full well EXACTLY what you're going to see. But no, you're just gonna say "B-B-BU-YOU'RE JUST BUTT HUUUUUUUURT! THAT'S NOT ACTUALLY A PROBLEEEEEEM!", you're not even CONSIDER thinking "Hmm, maybe some people expected a challenge from the hardest difficulty in the game and are a tad dissapointed to see that there's no challenge" Does that logic make sense to you or do I have to break it down into the simplest terms for you? Action games are usually expected to be fast pace, the faster pace then the more challenging the difficulty in order to adjust your character's movements to the multiple enemies that moving at incredibly fast speeds as well as adjust your combat style to make as much emphasis with a fast pace in generel. This is what a GOOD action game does. You can like a BAD action game by all means I know some people who actually like Ninja Gaiden 3 and I don't fault them for it. But as long as you're aware that there are BLATANT flaws(IE the hardest difficulty for the almost final boss taking chunks of damage) with the game that you're playing then that's alright. But you're not doing that. You're plugging your ears and screaming "LALALALALA! NOT A PROBLEM! LALALALALA! BUTTHURT! LALALALA!" And I keep highlight why it IS a problem But you DON'T LISTEN TO ME! Do I hate other ACTION GAMES that are incredibly easy? Unless there's something incredibly MIND BLOWING about the game that surpasses the need for a challenge then yes I do. I don't hate Okami for being easy as **** because Okami is not an aciton game, it's an adventure game. It could still use a challenge but it doesn't need it for the most part. I like SMT games more then most other RPG's because SMT games tend to provide very meaty challenges. Challenge is a very important part of a game to me. SO WHEN I SEE THAT CHALLENGE IS NOT IN AN ACTION GAME ON THE HARDEST DIFFICULTY ON THE LAST BOSS(kinda) I'M GOING TO BE QUITE DISSAPOINTED! But I can name several bosses that can still be challenging EVEN with this concept so DmC has no excuse. Of course you're probably just gonna use a no true scotsmen of me so whatever. See what lib did? The whole listing your specific reasons why you like the game> Why don't you try doing that for once huh? I'm not spouting out "BUT HIS HAIR ISN'T WHITE!" so the LEAST you could do is not spout "BUT EVERYONE HATES IT! SO IT MUST BE GOOD!"

It may not be a problem to you because you obviously expect something different form the game It's an action game I expect challenging and engaging fights in an action game DmC does not give me that thus it's a major problem for me even on it's HARDEST difficulty. Style is very easy to obtain thus there is no challenge in gaining it. There are enemies that require specific weapons to beat which kills variety when fighting enemies. Keeping enemies close to you is far too easy with the angel pull ability You and enemies stay in the air far too long which causes other enemies to wait around until you're done beating the one in the air These are major problems for me You can like the game You can hate the game I don't care But don't say **** like "you're not complaining about anything legitimate" because these ARE legitimate complaints when it comes to an action game. Please stop projecting.

This is the ONLY thread about DmC I have ever made EVER and it's highlighting a legitimate flaw with the game IE The almost final boss on the hardest difficulty takes damage like a ***** and the ultimate reward of the game(style) is given to you in an instant with little to no effort. But no None of that matters, you see me saying something negative about DmC and you INSTANTLY go to the "HUUUR! YOU DON'T LIKE IT BECAUSE HIS HAIR ISN'T WHITE! DUUUUUUUUUUR!". It's like I can't even say something bad about the game without being accused of being some "non progressive fanboy" tl;dr: Don't assume, it makes an ass out of U and me.
