"No," He agreed. "He hasn't for a long time..... Come let's go find a place to heal our wounds and then I would like to get an update on the news of my country." Nas was confused. something was up, but she didn't understand what.
Karchit stared at the miserable town of Quel. He was attacking from the East. It was time. Screech licked his lips as he glanced at Quel's West side. He planned to cover the town in blood. ---------- Biffem had made it back to the stable. He got off his horse and headed for the castle. As he made his way there, a cloaked figure ran past him. Biffem had barely managed to get a look at his face. "General Kellington?" said Biffem questioningly. The cloaked figure looked around. It was The General. "Yes?" Kellington replied. "Um...." Biffem hesitated. "I was just wondering what you were doing. And what's with the cloak? Kellington stayed silent for a moment. Finally he decided to answer the question. "I was checking on the outer defenses, and I'm wearing this because I feel a tad chilly." "You're chilly? But it feels so nice out today." said Biffem. "I'm sorry, Biffem, but I'm a little busy." Kellington said in an irritated tone. "Perhaps we could continue this another time." And with out another word he left. That's strange. thought Biffem. Normally the general isn't that rude.
Tristan nodded. So her father must be human and her mother Cylian. The sounds of the city of Nentrion could be heard coming from up ahead. Tristan thought back to the last time he heard those sounds. He had been just a boy then. The paved streets were packed with people going about their everyday lives. Shop owners would advertise their products out loud and compete with the other nearby shops. As a boy, Tristan had found this fascinating. Tristan entered the city and was shocked. dirtied people, wearing rags, lay everywhere in the streets. They begged those that passed them for food, money, and water. starving babies cried, and orphaned children stared at people with eyes filled with despair. Shop windows were broken and a few shops had even caught fire. Nobody here was prospering, except the rich greedy merchants who had a belly big enough for two people. What brought even more horror to Tristan's eyes was this one shop that stood near the entrance of the city. On the building, in big letters, were the words 'Slave Market'. Next to the building was a sign. Tristan guided Eleanor within reading distance of the sign. The sign read: Slave Market Need the money to pay for your next rent? Don't have enough money to buy food? Well Slave Market has the solution. Sell your children and get an amazing price in return. Don't have any children? Then just grab one of those orphaned ones off the street. Need a dedicated worker for your business? Then buy one of our well trained slaves! We promise that all our slaves are hard working and will be dedicated to the job. The only payment they require is food, nothing more. So come one, come all. Buy a slave for a negotiable price. If you are satisfied, buy another. Our business is dedicated to the honorable King Alzeire. We thank him for ridding us of all those children rights and labor laws. Long live the King! Tristan was appalled. "What is this?" Tristan growled. "Why has he done this to our country? This isn't like him! what is going on here?" Nas could sense the boiling anger that came from her master. She began to tense up. She then readied herself for a possible attack.
OOC: You didn't PM this to me. please remember to do so in the future. It's fine, btw.
OOC: there isn't anyone there right now, and just to let you know, no Cylian is strong enough to regrow an entire forest.
OOC: We really don't need another demon right now.... only if he is not a devil class.
Screech walked around shouting orders at the Leechers. They were building latters, Rams, Catapults, Grapples, And several other kinds of seige weapons. There was even one that was like a giant crossbow. The ammo for their catapults was not just that of Rock. They had types that shot out boiling oil, Others threw explosives, and there were even some that shot out bags that would burst on impact and create clouds of dust that blinded the enemy. Screech smiled. Preparations were going well.
That sounds exactly like something my friend would do.
OOC: Lol. do you mean that nobody has been on, or that the site has been going down?
"I'm no more important than you," said Tristan with a frown, "Even in the days that I was a prince." Tristan looked off at the town that was looming ever closer. "Master was a prince?" said Nas curiously. Tristan nodded. "Yes, but that's to be kept a secret." Tristan turned his gaze over at Eleanor and decided to slow the pace a bit. "If we are lucky, We may find a mage that is skilled in Recovery magic." OOC: There are several forms of Recovery magic. The most common type is an enchantment that can triple the body’s healing rate. The downside is that a person’s energy can be burnt out twice as fast while this enchantment is at work. Because of this, the person will have twice as much of an appetite. This enchantment only works on physical wounds. Btw, I’m back! :D The wedding was great!
OOC: Because I'm not busy right now. Though I don't have long. BIC:Tristan smiled, "We should be there before midday."
I can be found if you check the forums. Here's a direct link. http://www.kh-vids.net/forumdisplay.php?f=72
do something with scar while I'm here.
OOC: Zuiden's color is also bold.
OOC: if he isn't going to be around for a long time, then no. do the same thing I did with Leech and Screech.
because it was burned up till it was the size of a pea.....
The demon had left. He said that the people of Quel had fighting experience, which was why they were not sent to the capital. He wanted them dead by the end of the day. Karchit would advance, on the city of Quel, using his entire army, They no longer would be blocking the way in and out of Baflee. Quel would be attacked on two fronts, East and West. They stood no chance. The Leechers had been ordered to construct Siege weapons. They were already hard at work. Leechers knew how to make some nasty siege weapons. The Demon made it clear that the kingdom of Baflee will fall. OOC: Quel is going to loose this battle!
yay!........ oh wait, that's bad, isn't it?
Karchit was furious. How could this happen? He thought as he headed for a quiet spot to think. "It seems you have proven your worthlessness yet again, Karchit the Sharp Tooth." Said a familiar voice. Startled, Karchit jumped. He knew that voice. Slowly he turned around to face the demon. The demon was in that cloaked human form again. His hair was red and his skin had a dark suntan. Screech was with him. "Are you going to kill me?" said Karchit to the Demon. The demon smiled. "Perhaps later. Right now, I have information to give you." "What is the information?" "The King's battle plans." said the demon. "He's going to allow the siege to happen. And he has ordered for all villagers, except the those of Quel, to take cover in Cheslidair." These plans confused Karchit. "Where is the logic in this?" asked Karchit. "The King will be giving up ground. He'll be surrendering farms. There will be a shortage of food! And with all the people locked away in the capital, food supplies will be spread thin. They would not be able to hold up long like that. What's more, they are allowing us to attack their city! I fail to see the logic in this plan. What is the king thinking?" "I hear that the King refers to his general for anything that has to do with war." said Screech with a grin. "The King of Baflee is not skilled in the ways of war." Karchit had a sudden realization. He looked over at the grinning Demon. "You? You had something to do with this plan didn't you?" The Demon's smile grew wider. "Let me fill you in on the little details." said the demon.
I have the night off! :D
