you should only use flashbacks when they are necessary

You don't need so many flashbacks to progress a story though. You know what I mean? :)

Karchit was in a panic. I've annoyed one of our gods. Is he going to kill me? Karchit quickly shook his head.

The demon sneered at Karchit "How pathetic." He then threw Karchit on the ground behind him.

Karchit gasped and coughed. The demon didn't kill him. He was alive. He looked back towards the demon only to find that a blond haired woman took it's place. Karchit's eyes widen more. He understood. this demon had no true human form.

"If you fail again, then the Leechers can have you as a snack." and with that, the demon walked away and disappeared into the night.

All that time I wasted watching those annoying flash backs!!!

"That's it!" Yelled Karchit as he swung his tail at the man.

The man caught the tail in his left hand with ease. He then launched his right hand, at Karchit, and grabbed him by the throat.

Karchit couldn't breath. He suddenly realized that man had raised him off the ground. Fear suddenly entered Karchit's heart, as the man's skin began to melt off his body. Horns grew from his head, his teeth turned into fangs. And his eyes...... he had no eyes. they melted away with his skin.

"Would you like anymore proof?" Said the demon. his voice had a demonic sound to it that shook you to the bone.

OOC: You realize, DeathKing, it would be not wise to face the lizard's main army. They have a whole lot more than two thousand soldiers and a few thousand Leechers. The army is blocking both of the ways out of Baflee. so if you attack one group. you could be ambushed from behind by the other. If You attack both groups, which means spreading out your troops, it wouldn't workout much better either. We just had a battle. Another battle will happen eventually. just give it time. now is not the smartest time to start one. go ahead and kill the remaining lizards, but don't take on something that's bigger than you can handle right now.

BIC: "Enough of that!" Growled Karchit. "You keep saying they are back, but how do I know I can trust you? They been gone for so long. why would they be back now? Where's the proof that they've returned?"

"A lowly Lizard, as yourself, does not deserve proof." said the man.

"Yeah thanks." Tristan said before examining Eleanor's handy work. "I think that the Leechers probably heard all that. Quick, we must get away from-"
Tristan's words were cut short by another nearby groan, which was then followed by another, and another, and another, and another. Several more tentacles splashed out from the water.
Tristan took a step back. "I..... I think we better run for it."

Karchit snapped. "Why you little-" He shot out his hand towards the human's neck, but his attack was stopped by a nearby Leecher. "Why are you defending this human?" Hissed Karchit.

"He speaks the word of our gods. Touch him, and I kill you." said the Leecher.

"The Leecher speaks the truth. Some are even free from their prison. It would be wise not to displease them." said the man with a smile.

Never mind I just got my own ice cream
