Many people consider them that. Basically what that is making fun of. Although I do admit that Coded and Days didn't add tons to the plotline. While they are both brought up again I could likely summarize what you need to know about them in five minutes.

The video game industry does love these chicken and the egg scenarios. In particular, companies don't wan't to make games for a system that they aren't sure if it will have good support. Gamers don't want to buy a system that doesn't have good games (or at least a promise of). Unfortunately Sony has been caught in the middle of this catch 22 quite a bit recently.

What seems to happen a lot is that game companies try to spread the game over multiple consoles to reach the widest audience. Respectable strategy for them but then that means they have to eliminate (or at least minimize) any features that make the console unique. In the end since it is all essentially the same, people go with what system is cheapest or offers the most exclusive games they like. Sony then falls apart because they are expensive and don't offer many exclusives that people are really wanting. If Sony is going to keep PlayStation alive they need to do what they can to lower the system price point and/or find some way to get developers to launch exclusives for them. Even if the Vita remains low I know this isn't the last of PlayStation but this certainly doesn't help them. And if the trend continues into future generations Sony will certainly be questioning if PlayStation is worth keeping.

A few ways to deal with Descend Heartless Angel. In order of efficiency...

    1) Run up and smack him. Superglide is your best friend for this.
    2) Strike Raid. The arena is small enough there is a good chance of you being in range, and even if you fail you will be invincible for the immediate follow up, thus usually giving you a larger window to use an elixir.
    3) Wait with an elixir and then throw it just before the move actually connects. The item delay will cause it to land just after the attack connects and you will be able to sustain getting the hit.

The first time I beat him I used tactic 3. Since then I can usually use a mix of 1 and 2 depending on where he is. Obviously, as with all things Sephiroth, practice practice practice. It took me several days to beat Sephiroth, you will mess up a lot before you come out on top.

Another thing you could try is using another program to chat over the MSN servers.

Due to problems of Windows Live Messanger crashing a lot on me I started using Pidgin, and it has been far more stable.

All of those I understand, although I do mess some of them up quite a bit if I'm just not thinking about it when I type.

    TRRS pinouts

Alright, So my headphones finally gave out recently and I replaced them with Skullcandy Heavy Medals. They work fine on my computer, but my phone (Xperia Play) has a different pinout and it just tells me the accessory is not supported. If I hold in the control button when plugging it in, it works fine until I let go. Then it sounds like the left and right channels are invertedly combined (messy audio, including minimal vocals from stereo, and nothing from mono). So I do a bit of research and find an adapter from MEElectronics which is supposed to take Apple-standard devices (my headphones were designed for the iPhone) and change it to another format that was listed as working on the Xperia Play. Now with the adapter it works fine if the control is held but recognizes the device as being disconnected most of the time that the control is released (randomly it won't seem to notice the release and will continue to work fine).

Does anyone know more about this kind of thing? Or have any ideas other than taping down the controller? If it helps I don't care about the mic or controller being functional, they just came standard with the headphones.

This thread is such a nostalgia bomb. I love it. Though I feel sorry for all the non old-farts that kinda get left out in this by default.

SWAT stands for "Special Weapons and Tactics" They are called in for high risk situations that are more dangerous than an average police job. They pretty fearsome I've gotta say. Never seen them in action but I have seen them on standby when there are large crowds. Not people I would want to mess with.

The context is strange though. That is a long way to be taking a video game and the troll seemed to just jump to the end with no prior lead-up (no demands, no built up frustration, just "hi I'm going to hack you").

Stranger part about that is that they already add bittering agents to the stuff to stop people from huffing it. The only real risk is giving yourself frostbite not that I've done that or anything

You could stand to be a bit nicer about it, but yes. It is hard to imagine making a run for two hours, especially when you don't see damage being done. To be clear we are talking about a single run, no retries.

If you seriously did spend two hours in there and actually were dealing damage rather than continuous dodging than bravo but I regret to tell you that your game is broken. Sephiroth has a sixth HP bar that you can't see, but even fighting defensively it should not take you more than five minutes to get past it. If you just need to see where it starts then equip strike raid and maybe some MP increasing equipment. Strike Raid makes you invincible while dealing some pretty easy to do attacks so, while you won't be able to sustain that for the whole battle, it should give you an idea of about how much damage you need to do before he is on visible bars.

OOC: When pulling images off of Google, be sure to click "Full-size image" on the left to get the actual image url. For ease of other people reading the bio the appearance is this. I can't really say much else. I'm sure we're taking people but Riku needs to be the one to confirm you.

IC: Michelo was the one to break the momentary silence. "Sorry to interrupt. Despite a terrible first impression all three of us would like to enter your military"

She could sense that Riku had done the passing of power, since at the time he was the only one of the two to have done so (Kairi also had, but that is prior to her arriving at the islands). The passing of power in it's simplest form is touching the hilt of keyblade. Now how Sora originally uses the keyblade is a bit of an enigma. Most likely theories are that it was either Riku's or Ven's, since then however Sora has obtained his own. This is evidenced by Roxas dual wielding. Aside from confirmation by Nomura, logically he couldn't be wielding the same keyblade twice. He is actually using both Sora's and Ven's. This also ties backwards into the fight between Roxas and Xion. Roxas and Xion had a yo-yo effect due to them both using Sora's power. As one gained his power, the other lost it. But in the end Xion absorbed enough of Sora to take his form and had her power amplified by the devices that were placed at each battle field. Roxas should never have stood a chance but still managed to come out on top. This would be because he had Ven's power to himself and still had some of Sora's (albeit not much)

Well he said it that way in an interview once but the ending of RE:Coded stated nothing about order, so it is hard to tell if he decided to toss that or if it just hasn't been canonically revealed yet.

Actually have you ever noticed that things are relatively normal until Sora starts picking mushrooms?
Yeah, he's just been trippin' the whole time.
