Okay, it isn't an overflow issue then (I'm actually not even sure how W7 would handle a pinning overflow) After doing a bit of research I found this. It seems that this is a bug that occours when upgrading from XP, which is your case if I recall correctly. I would say to add one more step and rehide files by reversing step two. That will prevent you from messing up those files and folders on accident later.
I'll see about reproduction on friday when I get my computer back. I'm not seeing where your pins end, but that might be a result of the pic being sized down slightly. Maybe you are overflowing the list? As it says in that pop up the (#) comes up when you are dealing with identical file names, so the first ones aren't gone when you are telling it to make a new one.
I hardly make AMVs anymore either. But this time of year I always get inspired to make one again. Which is weird because I would think summer would be a more suitable time. Care to disclose what song? or will we have to wait and see?
I'm not talking about repinning it. Right click the pin and there should be a rename option. Doing that should either result in getting it named as you want or an error box saying that it can't. I guess now it doesn't matter, but you tend to go into extremes over pretty minor computer issues.

I don't know. Makaze can get up there as well if he wants to. And it isn't like either of them would back down from a tl;dr. It would just intrigue each other and self perpetuate, likely getting longer and longer posts as it goes. I'm not sure who holds the record for longest post now, but I bet it would change hands if that debate ever came.

There was a startle moment for me since I didn't think they would have coded it to simulate video. But it has nothing to do with trying to fool you into letting your guard down. I thought it was okay, but I generally don't like the horror genre so I can't really judge it.
