Where we left off...​

“It’s him, alright…” A mysterious man in a cloak said to a person beside him.
“But…how do you know?” The other one replied.
“I just know.”
Shrii turned around only to see the two were gone.
“I could’ve sworn…”
“SHRII! COME ONE! We’re gonna be late!”

Now, back to the story...​

“Uh…ya, I’ll catch up.” He yelled back to Kin.
“Don’t say that! Last time ya said that you ran off!”
Kin yelled back as he was running towards the voice.

“Follow the Light…”​

“That voice…It sounds so familiar…” He said to himself as he went to the area where he heard them, “where…did they go?”
“Shrii! Don’t leave me! Tell me what’s up!” Kin said sternly to him and stared at him with her fists on her hips.
“If ya wanna know…You can NOT call me crazy after!”
He replied back with a smirk.
“Deal…but I always think you’re creepy…it’s cute.” She said with a wink.
“Uh…” was all he could say as he blushed and replied with: “So do ya want me to tell you or not?”
“Of course! Tell me!” She yelled loudly.
“Arg…” He grabbed her and covered her mouth and got to a safe point where no one, except they, knew about, “Lately…I’ve been thinking and I keep hearing voices that say ‘Follow the Light…’ and I don’t know what it is.”
“Uh…well…” She scratched her neck and replied, “I guess that is crazy…but that’s cute, too…”
“Why do you call it ‘cute’? What do you mean?” Shrii asked with curiosity in his eyes, “I’m curious now.”
“Well, Shrii…Curiosity killed the cat.” She said to him as she walked towards school.
“What…I…you…but…” He stuttered quickly for a bit before he said, “WHO ARE YOU?”
She stopped in her tracks and turned around to see him staring at her.
“What do you mean?” She asked with a bit of wisdom of what about what he was talking about.
“What is up with you? You sound like you’re trying to flirt with me?” He looked over at her and all he could say was: “D-do you…?”
“Do I what?” She said with a bit of pink in her cheeks.
“Do you flirt with me?” He stared at her as the wind blew through the air.
“Of course…It’s my natural instinct.” She laughed as she sounded like she was joking.
“Do you…do it because you like me?” He asked with his head down.
She stopped laughing and stared at him.
A minute and a half passed before she responded in between stutters.
“Uh…I…That is to say…Um…well…” She looked over and blushed.
“Do you? Simple yes or no question.” He asked her.
“I do a bit…Now can we stop being emo and--”
“Follow the Light…”
Kin gasped as she heard this. “D-did you hear…”
Shrii looked up with a bit of a smile. “So…I’m NOT crazy! SHOW YOURSELF, COWARD!”
At that point, a tall man appeared in front of the two.
“Ah, lovers…” The man said, “believing in a fake emotion that is caused by your brain…Believing it makes you love…HA! You will feel no emotion…”
The two stood there, 2.5m away from each other, and the man pulled out a sword and aimed for Kin.
“K-Kin!” Shrii screamed as the man looked at him.
“One more move and she dies…” He said as he moved towards her.
“URG!” He fell to the ground, clutching his head.
“The noise…MAKE IT…STOP!” When Shrii opened his eyes, he jumped towards Kin and pushed her out of the way and got stabbed in the heart by the man's sword.
Shrii just laughed and smiled at him saying:
“I’ve been stabbed through the heart…Hehe…but I don’t care…I have to save the one I love.”
As he said this, he shattered the sword with his bare hands and flew towards the man and grabbed his neck. The motion of doing so pushed the man’s hood off. The face was that of which he had never seen before…But that’ll have to wait until chapter 3.
