I'm glad you had the courage to stand up to your grandmother for saying what she said. Being a Hispanic living in a predominantly Hispanic neighborhood I have witnessed racism of a different kind. My best friend, Sean, is white and there were times when I took black eyes for defending my best friend. It takes a lot of guts to stand against racism for your friends. It takes that much more guts to stand up to your family for people you don't even know. All I can say is don't let that fire that burns inside you go out on account of your family. You have to rise above it and continue to let them know that it is not something that you will tolerate.

Even the people who post often say stupid things. That's nothing new. The only stupid question is the one you didn't ask. I'm dead though. All I can do is haunt.

    Woooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

Damn. I can't ever forget that day. I was just getting up for school when my mom told me that there had been some kind of accident in New York. I live in California. Anyway, we sat and watched what was going on when the other plane hit. It was at that point that I knew what was happening. It was no accident. It was an attack! After that, my mom told me to stay home from school and record the coverage. Then, when the towers collapsed, I cried. I couldn't help but feel hopeless after seeing what had happened. My heart still goes out to all those people who lost their lives. And to those who serve in our military, I say thank you so much for all you have done.

I think prostitution is not a matter of moral dilemma but personal choice. In Nevada there are places called "Bunny Houses" that cater to prostitution. If a woman decides that it is what she would like to do then who are we to inhibit her constitutional right to the pursuit of happiness. The same goes to a man. It is their penis or vagina and they should use it however they see fit.

I doubt that it is a UFO, but I do not question the existance of them.
