Another tiny argument I'd like to point out. Pregnancy, and I assume unwanted pregnancies more than any other, are a bother on a professional level. It takes women out of work much longer than abortion does.

This too, although the characters have little in common with their original mythology counterparts. Or so I remember.

Story and gameplay are very good, so are the graphics but I dislike the 2D environments. I also hated the real jumps in difficullty that appeared fairly early in the game. But it was a good game overall, and it's kinda based on Norse mythology.

Why should you be taught lessons of responsibility if there are ways available to cure the consequences of your irresponsibilities?
Ask yourself this: what good would it do anyone to deny abortion in such a situation?
The child? Not alive yet, so no.
The mother? It was her request in the first place so no.
The father? Coming in second place for at least 9 months sure sounds promising.
The hospital? Recovery abortion takes less time than recovering from labour. The mother's room will be vacant sooner.

Having her "own up" sounds all fancy and mature, but there's no need for responsibility lessons. Abortion costs will take care of that (or other restrictions, such as limitations in the intervention of health insurance).
The responsibility argument is outdated. In fact it became outdated the moment it existed.

Actually, I've been to a "prison family day" in Ghent once (my aunt works there are a jailer). The inmates, while of coure heavily guarded, were put to work there. The guy I bought by ice cream from was convicted for armed robberies and me and some other kids (I assume family of personnel or of the inmates themselves) played soccer against a team of said personnel and inmates. Scored a goal against a guy who killed his son over an argument about what they should have for dinner. In retrospect not many people can say that. So yeah, I still find it incredibly funny.

Me too. In fact we have a spider-infested house right now, of which my room is the spider-infested-est of all. No biggie to be honest.
But I suppose an unconscious fear doesn't always show itself in a prominent way. Don't know if I should buy it at all though.
