No, this is just one of those things that are funny if you were there but sound painfully boring when you have to read it afterwards.
It's called Current Events for a reason.
I'm sorry, but I'm gonna have to ask you to stop reviving old threads. I've let it slide from now but bumping a thread as old as November 2008...
I'm guessing some of you have already played the Japanese version of the game or something. Are the Organization itself, and its members other than Roxas, Axel and Xion, in any way elaborated upon? Their purpose, their personalities? In other words; how big are their roles (in general, I don't need to know each of their contributions separately) in the game? I'd like an answer to this because focusing on Roxas all the time seems kind of dumb. Not to mention he's not exactly the most interesting of the lot either. Thanks for answering, boys and girls.
Fixed. She took initiative.
Ditch other guy. Run along with girl. If she's worth it. That's quite hardcore. An acquaintance (not really a friend) had an entire soccer team last year. She doesn't have a brother but I'm pretty sure she'd sleep with him if she did.
Well, I basically have the same approach, and it works for me. ;)
Nope. But I'll take care of your bachelor(ette) party for you.
I left a VM on his profile about it. Seems more effective than nagging him in a thread that he possibly won't even look at anymore.
Same here; I'm not even thinking about having kids. It's best for everyone too: I have a gut feeling that I'd be a horrible parent. :p And yeah,...
- What's your longest romantic relationship so far? - What are your guilty pleasures in your music and movie taste? - What's your favourite sport? - What's the longest you ever went without sleeping?
Problem is everything cool will probably be shoved to the background in favour of a bipedal dog with the IQ of a banana, a duck with major pronunciation issues and an angsty teenager who struts around like he's the next St. Michael because he wields a giant racist key that hammers on everything that's even remotely black. Which would make the cool characters seem even more out of place.
Took me a while before I bought this, but sadly it's true. Fire squad, anyone?
Uhm...What good is a poll with only three genres when rock is clearly very popular and famous too? That doesn't make sense. If anything it makes it seem that you don't give a **** about other opinions as long as they don't match yours. The poll doesn't even have much to do with the thread's original purpose anymore.
"Fire Burning" is a catchy song but even so Kingston doesn't stand out in any particular way. He's average all the way. I guess it could have been worse.
I'll be busy for the next couple of days so the deadline will be moved on to 3rd September, if that's at all relevant. Thanks for the entries so far, guys!
Exactly. I hope everything goes well for you. As for me I'll only be busy for the next couple of days, then I'm more or less off the hook. I...
Nah, don't worry about it. I didn't take offense or anything. :) I'm doing great, there are some busy days ahead but I'll push through. How are...
I think everyone saw this coming from a mile away. They're awesome live but it's still not too big of a loss in my opinion.
Joust Who should I tell that I tell myself To pass me an axe only to fell myself? This hellish rebellion... I fight well but I'm down to my ultimate splinter Where I used to shimmer I now shiver Lingering in the hindrance of an inner winter All that still tingles is a sliver of vindictiveness Justice is a fist wherein any weapon fits This is not the time to forgive Isn't the place to live in innocence Sit still and reminisce Pay your respects to the sinner within I am enhanced with anger lighter than air Awaken from a trance of asking and answering Have a half eye closed to glances fair Dancing, prancing as if paranoid Stallions ridden by unclad chances gallop into a barrage of lances My battle Comment: Newest. Again, not very deep. I just wanted to play with words and especially phonetics a little which I find entertaining every now and then. The result was this. ~ Sentience Existence is a perfect solvent Within it lies every problem And supposedly every solution Regardless of the hand that grasps Inside the pool of whiteness The essence of all pours through This entirety, a vault with vines Upon approach curls up in shells Forms a heart that throbs in Man With sore throats they build A spiral stairway for a grim tower Where ideas can come to live Join us in our amalgam Of vices and virtues And see how worthless perfection is But most courageous is the poison That kisses its own antidote I dare you to drink it all It has been seen It has been thought It has been done Comment: But for those of you who prefer deeper, more philosophical pieces I am posting this old one here. I've written this a very long time ago, and even I had forgotten some of its meaning and had to reread it carefully before I understood myself again. Good luck figuring this one out. I know it made me think. Of course, you could just read the spoiler below. Spoiler The poem is in fact a nod towards the socratic way of thinking, that the wisest man is he who embraces that he knows nothing. It also blends in the traditional "Cogito ergo sum" idea. Think of the poem as an evolution: from lamenting ignorance, to trying to cure this ignorance, to coming to terms with it.
