It seems as though a new KH2 scan has appeared over the net. The new scan mainly features information about the Axel vs Sora battle, and the vegetable mini game which was mentioned a while ago. Here's the basic summary:

There's a new 100 Acre Wood mini-game, aptly named "Vegetable Panic", where you need to smack the vegetables as they come to you with the Keyblade. If you smack enough, you get a new card! The card is also said to be a very useful and strong technique that will be helpful in the game.

Edit: Here's some more information on the mini-game. Starting off, there's more then just one minigame in the CoM world of 100 Acre Woods. Vegetable Panic is just one of them that has been revealed in scans. There's two vegetables that you have to hit; pumpkins and cabbage. You hit the pumpkins with the circle button, and the cabbage with the square button. You have to hit 30 of these vegetables, and can only miss five.

Also, the battle against Axel seems to be taking place in the same fire ring that you fight against him in Roxas' story. Despite this, however, it is not a main story event. Just another Organization CoM battle, placed into the KH2FM+ game.

It seems there are some bits that were left out of the interview...

- Xaldin is strong in the Organization.
- The battle with the enemy of the Secret Movie and the mystery is in GManga's next issue.
- Reno, of FF7, and Axel are both voiced by the same person.
- Nomura likes the enemy characters because they're not hateful.
- The facial motions of KH are made to be exaggerated a little considering the differences between Disney animation and the style of FF.

Well guys, I managed to do it again, though 100% of the credit goes to the 2ch board, I personally asked them if they could upload a Higher Quality version of the PV onto a downloadable site, as the first one, seemed impossible to access. And thanks to 2ch posted 202, as well as MoriHikiko they uploaded the Higher Quality version of the video, beautiful.

They said it was because they were in dept to us at kh-vids.net, however I believe we should be the ones really in dept to them, due to if it wasn't for them we would not have most of these news, as well as this now Higher Quality Promotional Video, which they seemed, by the time and date it was uploaded, uploaded it just for us!


Therefore since I'm sure the 2ch posters are looking at this as well, from me, and possibly alot of KH2 fans out there, we thank you!

There's been a bit more information running around the net, some as rumors, some as not, however here is what we have so far, courtesy of KH-2.net

First up is the Nomura interview, translated by Tomogirl

The next bit, is another translation from Tomo yet again.

There is a new mini-game that's added into Re:CoM. It's called "Vegetable Panic" which can be found in 100 Acre Woods.

Finally to add on, a 2ch member, managed to find a bit more information, which was later confirmed by another posted, saying it was from one of the latest magazines, and the information sounds good.

Edit: It's totally unknown now if this is true or not, due to both A. The firs tposter saying it's what they expected from KH2FM+, and the other saying this was said in a magazine.


1 - There is a soft reset.
2 - Lock on switching has been enabled.
3 - There is a little expansion added to the features of Jiminy's Journal (They believe it might have to do with the character model viewing)
4 - When doing the Roxas vs Axel battle, second time, a different expression has been added to Roxas, when he gets hit by Axel this time.

For those that want information about the scans, listen up!

- Sora vs Vexen
*When enough data from Vexen is captured, a copy/replica of Sora is created, and must be battled with. When Vexen cages you in ice, you need to tap Triangle as fast as you can to break out of it.
*The data is like a Drive gauge. The max it can go is "5".
*The Replica takes the shape of Anti-form, and you must do battle against it. This battle is very challenging, and it is required that you attach an ice resistant item on to last through it.

- Sora vs Larxene
*For Larxene all you have to do is take her out. It seems she has around 5 health bars. The moves she performs, however, are intense:
1. A circle of thunder causing Sora to become paralyzed, during which she'll attack.
2. A thunder tornado that does a lot of damage if Sora is hit by it.

- Sora vs Zexion
*To get to Zexion, all Sora needs to do is enter a special book that will take him into the World of Shadows. Zexion will only use tactics in this battle, without combat.
*In part of the battle, Donald and Goofy will be confined in books, and Zexion will also hide himself in one of the books. You have to find the right book in which Zexion is hiding in. The right one will have a shadow on the ground.
*"Turn it Over" is the reaction command mainly needed to knock Zexion out, but there are others like "Lie" and "Cheat".

A new promotional video was shown today to the public. I posted some information before believing it was related to the scan, but I was mistaken. It was really related to the PV. Here's a basic summary:

- Passion replaces the Japanese theme Sanctuary
- Organization meeting scene
- Scene of Roxas and Axel eating a Popsicle (As shown in the latest scan)
- Battle scene of Limit Form doing such examples as "Dodge Roll" and more
- Gameplay of battles against Lexaues and Marluxia, and a reaction command of Duel Bout against Roxas
- The scene where the Unknown Organization members sit down on his chair, referring to the armored male as a "Friend"

Note: Zexion's book is now known as a "Mirage Book".

Rumor: When you lose against Roxas he says "I'm Sorry".

Scans have now appeared over the net, which have come from the PS2 Blitz magazine. These scans shine more light on Final Mix, as well as a possible Zexion Weapon!





Here's a quick recap of info from the scans

The Organization XIII is considered stronger and higher in rank then Sephiroth is.
The Mushroom XIII's weapon is indeed formed from a battle against them, however no exact info on hw to get it.
The two new abilities seen in the scan are as following "Thunder Break" and "Magna/Magnet Splash" which allows Sora to knock away enemies.
Critical Mode is known to exceed Proud Mode by a good extent. (Prepare for some haaaard battles).
There's a special award for knocking down the XIII Organization (This might mean, that only after the first battle against Xemnas, they count it as defeating all XIII Members, like KH2 some things were only accessible after beating Xemnas the first time)

A new V-Jump scan has hit the net. It features Roxas and Axel both eating sea-salt ice cream on the Twilight Town clock tower.

The V-Jump also contained more images, but we'll have to wait for that scan to surface. They include:

- Organization meeting scene
- Scene where Xemnas gives Roxas his name
- Battle scene of Limit Form
- Battle against Lexaeus and Marluxia
- Using Duel Bout against Roxas
- And the scene where a mysterious Organization member is sitting down in a chair

Also there is an upcoming Kingdom Hearts Double Visual book which will be released around spring this year and will cost around 1800 yen.

In an appliance store in Japan, a blog poster managed to snap a quick shot of a Kingdom Hearts II FM+ Advertisement. They refer to this as a "Dummy Package", possibly meaning that it's what the back and front cover looks like, with no game in the case. However, we'll just have to wait and see.

A new Famitsu scan has appeared over the net, featuring never before seen images showing new additions to KH2FM+.

1... Donald's new weapon is the axe Lexaeus wields.
2... Goofy's new weapon is the shield Vexen uses.
3... The name of the new difficulty is now known as "Critical Mode", and it's the easiest way to reach the new secret ending (meaning that now even Proud Mode requires something probably).

The cover art for Kingdom Hearts II Novel Volume 4 - Anthem - Meet Again / Axel Last Stand, has now appeared online. This novel is to be released on February 20th of this year for 1500 Yen.

An interview was conducted with Nomura, however I'll just give off the important parts and summary of the new/old things.

- There is a new mode that's harder then proud mode, however it's name is still not mentioned (Meaning it''s a yes/no for it being called Serious mode)
- Since Nomura wished to use abilities from the previous games, and also have a last installment feeling, the Limit Form was created.
- It is possible to battle members from COM in KH2 (Well yeah...)
- Marluxia uses the "Sentence of Death" to grab your attention, and attacks you continuously.
- The battle against Lexaeus uses a "Power Gauge" although no information as to how to earn points or so is mentioned.
- The enemies will be in different colors like they were in the original Final Mix.
- All your abilities will be put to the test, in the additional maps.
- It was actually complicated for the group when they were making more maps.
- The development of the mysterious man in the armor, is meant to be a suprise.
- The Secret Movie will NOT answer any questions, instead it's believed to confuse you even more.
- A hint is that, there is a connection with Xigbar.
- Nomura believes the new Kingdom Hearts Project will be shown in visuals, by the end of 2007.
- They believe that the new re:COM will be better then the game boy advance version.

For those wanting to see teh stuff on the website, yet don't have flash, we got it handled. Lucky for us it seems as though Square-Enix tried holding back by downsizing the images, since upon ripping the images, the actual sizes were bigger with little effect to the quality.

Jeux-France has updated their Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix+ Section featuring higher quality, and more views of those scans which were released a while ago. Now we can see Limit Form alot clearer, as well as the battle between Sora and Marluxia!
