I agree that this wasn't as good as your previous two, but this was still a decent poem where you alternated strong metaphors with literal, to-the-point phrases. I appreciate that the point of your poem is so clear here, partly because I'm currently in no condition to delve for deeper meanings myself. It was a good piece.
And the best way to show your love is to make a version of his song that you know will be weaker and less favorably received?
Ed TV Not funny enough to be comedy, not dramatic enough to be drama, not lovey-dovey enough to be a romantic movie. I didn't care for this film.
The Shining is indeed a classic, but as far as movies that weren't books first go I'd say Audition is one of my favourites though I wouldn't call it the best. It's a tough choice for me too.
I had that with my Final Fantasy 9... Fucking favourite game out of the lot I've played at that time...
That's sad news, I'm sorry to hear that. I'd visit him as much as I can during the time he has left now. He'll be glad to see you guys too. You should talk about this and that and ask him questions about things you'd never come up with otherwise. When my grandma was getting older I kept asking her questions about how my parents and aunts and uncles were when they were kids. She really seemed to enjoy talking about past times like that. Maybe that will cheer your grandpa up too.
If arcade games that formerly appeared on DreamCast count too, then yes. I never owned one myself though.
I understand your intentions and it's appreciated, but personally I'd rather advocate tolerance for the more...cutthroat way of saying what you have to say than I'd advise people to bite their lips. Not if they're used to conceal how you really feel about it. I'm not saying you have to be a jerk to get your point across, but do know that there are some who prefer that way.
Oh, for a minute there I thought something cool had happened. Seriously though, happy anniversary!
Well I won't voice my opinion on the artists, but you're right when you say it shouldn't matter how many times the winner has won before, as long as (s)he's the best. You said yourself that he has a point. What does it matter how he says it? So what if he's a bit cruder? You could coat every word with five layers of sugar but still say the same thing. So why bother?
Because it's very important to lie about how you eat your spaghetti. How could we even stay alive if we didn't?
Oh my God! It's a backseat mod! [/poetry] Anyway, poking fun at Gatz' newfound homosexuality/egosexuality is all well and good but let's keep the references to sperm to a minimum for now. I don't want to read 69 fantasies from teenagers and have to tattle-tale Advent about the least legal ones.
26, apparently. Funnily that's an age many people guess that I am.
Moved to Spam Zone. I ate spaghetti with a can opener the other day.
You seem to getting better and better. These last two were pure gold, I especially liked the regret and sorrow in "L'enfant du letum innocent" (that's the correct form, just to help you out). I'll be checking back here!
A recognizable phenomenon, those mixed feelings. Anyway, I hope you don't stop writing now, because you're quite talented. I enjoyed reading this poem!
I like this poem too, it has an accurately penned sense of longing to it. Be sure to write more!
Guys, Xendran isn't overrated. He is a shithead and we think of him as a shithead.
I don't think she understands that it requires actual talent to make a decent version of "Thriller"...As long as I won't have to hear it, I guess.
I see. Yeah, that is good practice. I try to put a little bit of my personality in each of my characters. Just one trait, no matter how irrelevant.
