There's some more information on what is in the Famitsu scan, as well as a full scan that was seen in 4 different parts earlier: New Scan KH2:FM • Xemnas in the Castle (in TWTNW): "Axel shook the mind of Sora." • Luxord (?): "Axel bets the one that doesn't exist so.... Existence by yourself might be a bet and something to be obtained." • Saix: "The fellow was weak." • The character study became more detailed because of the addition of that event, too. • In Roxas' battle, in some screenshots that's before "Dual Battle", immediately after "Dual Battle", and the one where the technique is being used are actualy two pieces. • Light is falling from the sky like the arrow. The blog user feels the need to show some manga sweat because the battle looks scary. Also, he/she notes that an HP bar is down to a half. That HP bar isn't too clear as to whose it belongs to. • Mushroom type heartless that put on the black org. coat. The score and the time are displayed on the left hand side. It is a mystery whether there are 13 org. mushrooms although the length is different. • Hollow Bastion and Twilight Town have been extended to go the full out in terms of their development (?). Re:CoM • The battle between Riku and Zexion come in two parts. Riku vs. Zexion and Riku vs. Zexion's phantoms (or clones, whichever you prefer). • Zexion: "Ehh.. Meeting? Is it [possible that we] can meet?" • Zexion: "It is the destiny of the hostility. Certainly with you who is bearing the darkness in your mind." • In other screenshots... • Roxas: "The brave man has defeated Vexen but is still being ruled by Namine." • Zexion: "Do not live because he says [so] and he erases it." • Only Riku (replica) in Degenki PS is published: "Whether forgetting 'I in reality'" • Riku (replica): "Namine, the face of whom you want to see the most." • Marluxia: "Put the betrayer in order." • Axel: "When Sora disappears, the Organziation's plan is risky." • Normal display in the upper part of the room creation screen. It seems easy for the person who played CoM first to confirm this attribute. How does the status on the bonus acquistition screen become an improvement after selecting the bonus status of the present, and the experience value until the raising of the next level is displayed? The bonus of 300 HP in level 1 Sora that can be acquired is the same as in the GBA version? • The stock technique is alive and well. • An additional input by the reaction command can be done according to the technique. • Sonic Grave (?) and Strike Shield are able to be reflected. • The reaction command, Sonic Grave (?), is confirmed. Nomura-san Famitsu interview Note: Some repeated info ahead. • There are a number of black Organization mushroom type heartless. They have no connection with Organization XIII at all. They are just mimicking them. By the way, Nomura is not good at making the mushroom great. • Because the voice actors of the Organization XIII in KH2 was considerably good, the voice actors of Organziation XIII of Re:CoM was made to defeat the cast of the KHII VAs. • It is confirmed that there is a map gimmick such as the guillotine stand that is put in Halloween Town's room in the Jump Festa screenshot of Re:CoM. • The stock technique of Re:CoM has increased considerably. The reaction command makes timing severe a little so it doesn't become veresatile too much. • Nomura wants to challenge variety of having two or more projects. Yadda yadda yadda. We know this already. • Some of the data, that KH2:FM has, influences some parts of Re:CoM. There is a big beginning that's put out thanks to you, fans, but there are not a lot of elements that Re:CoM can give back to KH2:FM. • There is a scene where the black Org. mushroom form a line (?). Of course, it is necessary to devise a plan to capture it. There is considerable power only because these enemies are the new additions other than the bosses. • (Been said already too, but ah well.) Roxas gives out a lot of physical strength in attack power with various moves. However his battle is related to the progress of the story, therefore, he isn't as strong as Sephiroth. • The new character of the new Secret Movie isn't Sora and Roxas. Of course, it isn't possible to say now who it is although this new character relates to a certain person who has shown up recently. • Zexion attacks by using his arms and copying himself with visions because he has the attribute that is known as "Phantom". • In addition to the reason why the KH staff left out dodge roll, they noticed that there was a "high demand" for it from you, fans. The Light in Chaos managed to add a more indepth interview with Nomura, although instead of just restating old points, I'll add all the new and additional ones. 1. The Organization Heartless are unique and are not easy to defeat. (Wow you actually have to fight them unlike the others) 2. The reason why Dodge Roll has been added was because last time it was not really needed in the game. However, when they decided to add a new form, they gave it the Dodge Roll technique. 3. The mushrooms are a unique enemy and like all the others seek entertainment. Apparently, this time, entertainment in beating you down. 4. The organization members that you fight in a certain area (Possibly the coliseum) will be set to be stronger than Sephiroth. 5. Due to the chance of increased confusion in the last scene in the Jump Festa, trailer he might take it out of the game. 6. Zexion's real weapon was not revealed in the scan or trailer, but will be revealed in a scene in the game. Famitsu managed to get an interview with Nomura, during which a lot of new info was revealed. A website managed to write a summary of the interview. re:COM 1. There will be separate areas for the battles, just like the GBA version. 2. The Bonus experience and leveling style from re:COM is similar to that of the game boy advance. 3. The stock technique is back. 4. You can have an additional reaction command, which will depend on the technique used. 5. An example being that if you use Sonic Rave, you will be able to use another technique with it. KHIIFM+ 1. Similar clothes from the first game, that's shown in the Jump Festa trailer, is Sora's new form. 2. There is no connection to the Org coat Mushrooms, and the Organization XIII, they are only mimicking them. 3. Because the voice acting of the XIII Order in Kingdom Hearts II was so wonderful, he plans to top that with re:COM 4. In re:COM the map gimmick, things like the Guillotine is put on the map, in Halloween Town. 5. The character in the secret ending of KHII, who was also shown in the Jump Festa trailer is New, not Sora or Roxas, however he does have relations to a character (Who's name he doesn't say) 6. The scans and the Jump Festa that show's Zexion's weapon was just him copying it, because Zexion has the ability of "Phantom/Shadow" however Zexion DOES have a real weapon. 7. In re:COM the reaction command with stocks, needs to be timed correctly in order for it to work. 8. He plans to continue the KH series, and plans for a big announcement next year. He has two or more projects in store for, but he wouldn't give out any detail about any of them. 9. They are soon planning for the Kingdom hearts FM+ Release date's announcement. Disney has finally decided to update their website once again. It contains Kingdom Hearts II FM+, however, just like Square-Enix's KH2FM+ website, this one is just a teaser for now. A new scan of Kingdom Hearts 2FM+ has now appeared over the net featuring many pictures of the battle against Roxas, believed to have come from Famitsu. This scan mainly seems to focus on the reaction command, as well as the boss battle against Roxas! Famitsu & Blitz Magazine - Kingdom Hearts 2007 Project Discussion Although we do not have the magazine yet, Nomura has had an interview about the new Kingdom Hearts project as well as Kingdom Hearts re:COM and Kingdom Hearts II FM+. A new scan of KH2FM+ re:COM has now appeared over the net, sadly the issue of this magazine is unknown as this is a partial version of the new scan. This scan appears to show more of how card break will be used in Kingdom Hearts re:COM, using the Reversed Rebirth picture against Vexen, as an example. The Triangle Button is to stock cards The x button is to Jump The square button is to Dodge Roll The L button (L1 or L2) - Possibly to flip cards to the left. The R button (R1 or R2) - Is used, to unleash 3 cards stock techniques. As the other R button is possibly to flip cards to the right. This was also where you earned the Roxas Wristband. This is possibly the last bit of info out, since we already have everything on the Demo, the Trailers, and the other extra KH related thing there.
Just to think when we were completly finished with Jump Festa 2007, KH-2.net just throws more things out. Great job Tomo, especially since most of it's new too! Kingdom Hearts II: Final Mix •An org. member is sitting on a chair while a knight is laying on the floor. They are talking to each other. Where they are appears to look like a basement (?). And then afterwards, we see a knight's helmet getting blown up and he turns around. Kingdom Hearts: Re:Chain of Memories • The X button serves as the jump button. • There's a mini map that resembles the one in KH2. • When the room card is selected, the number of heartless and the size of the room express it by three (?-stars?). • There seems to be Trinity. Not much detail on this yet. • There is also a gimmick card. (This one is stated before.) Xaldin's Note: I believe the "gimmick" card is the same as the "Stop" command, which is likely the Mickey Card, since it held a similar feature and was reported once. • The blog user felt that the cutscene in the Vexen boss battle hasn't changed much compared to CoM. Although this time the cover isn't really new art, it's still worth the buy for the content that will be inside this book. Here's the information we were able to retrieve. Well I have no way to give you an introduction so here is what I'll say. - The demos were indeed only playable for 15 minutes, with wait lines going up to 60 minutes. -This time they did not give out an instruction booklet (Well that's odd, someone's gonna have to clerify me on that one) - There were only 2 chosen area demos. - One was playing Sora's side in Halloween Town which included the Oogie Boogie Boss Battle. - The other was playing Riku's side against Vexen! Gameplay The Stock button apparently wasn't the L and R, so it didn't feel like the GBA version there, however the gameplay is similar to the GBA version, and you still have to repeatedly press L and R, just like the GBA version to them. ( I believe they're saying L and R both have seperate commands now) L is used to stock the cards, as R is used to unleash the techniques of the stocked cards, after you earned 3 pieces. Sora's side There was no Cutscenes at all for this, however once you advanced 2 rooms, you would automatically be brought into the Oogie Boogie boss battle. The cards you have set for you are "Cloud, Jack, Heal, Gravity, Fire, Blizzard, and attack cards" The method to defeat Oogie Boogie is very similar to that of the GBA version. Riku's Side This time there was a cutscene, and a boss battle against Vexen. There were little to no changes, except that the battle takes place on the 10th floor this time. Disney characters are now not just in their normral world!? A scene of Alladin who runs away from Jack and Nightmaresanta Sora who are in Santa's house. (Or that first there's a scene of Alladin running, and then the Jack/Nightmaresanta Sora scene) There is a scene of Ariel, and Tron in a world. Scene where the Beast rushes at Xaldin New map and Hollow Bastion, Netherworld? Castle Oblivion? It's hard to use, and you also have the skill "Fly up" Coliseum is where you will be fighting against Vexen (EH!?) Sora Donald and Goofy vs Lexaeus (EH!?!?) A huge pointed rock shoots out from the ground. Sora Donald and Goofy vs Marluxia (EH!?!?!?!?) There are alot of counter moves in this battle, mainly against Marluxia's scythe/sickle. There is a conference with 4 members of the Organization Luxord: He can bet against you to obtain something Saix:There's nothing to put out, when obtaining a friend. Xemnas: Axel shook up Sora's mind. The Camera appraches some of the chairs Xemnas awakes. Sora vs Roxas Roxas is seen in The World that Never Was, at a skyscraper where Sora suddenly has memories of Roxas. Roxas is really really fast The organization appears through an opening of a ground. (Possibly Xemas) He sits on the chair in the Nobody room The words KH RE:COM+KH2FM = KH2 FM+ There is someone on the ground in armor Xemnas? The KH2ch board, has managed to post more scans about Kingdom hearts II, featuring clearer image, still not a full scan sadly. However until then we'll keep happy with these! Scan 1 Scan 2 Scan 3 Scan 4 Scan 5 - THere is new information that have appeared over the net, There is a talk in a white room between Saix, Xehanort, and someone else. - There is an extra Axel scene, and right after that scene, another scene showing the Roxas battle appears. - In a more interesting note, there is talk about the mysterious male in the secret ending, by the Organization, they consider him as a "Friend" - (Completely unsure if this is true) THere is a scene of the mysterious male from the Secret Ending, lying in the basement, and is soon given Armored Restraints! - In the COM Demo you can either do Halloween Town, Boss battle against Oogie Boogie, and have a chance to play as Riku when fighitng against Vexen. - You'll be fighting Marluxia in KH2FM!? (UNsure for now) and a reaction command will be brought out when he throws his sickle at you, the reaction command causes Sora to somehow throw the sickle back penetrating Marluxia's body. The scan where Sora vs Roxas is in the Jump Festa, the move where Roxas is in the air, he uses both of his keyblades to release a terrible power all the lightning being shot down, is just a discharge of the true attack he is preparing.
