"That I am, Lynn," he replied gently, trying to stop his unbalanced body from falling.
As he finished coughing, he struggled to get up, the thin blood oozing to the ground from his gloved right hand. He grabbed a crimson silk hankerchief, cleaning the blood from his hand and from his hidden face. "I am alright, I'm just getting old," he joked, swaying to and fro as he tried to walk. He was gasping quietly as he passed Alaric.
His eyes shifted to the direction of the man who was following him. He shifted his hidden eyes back to Sharix as he walked backwards "I am fine, I~" he began to cough again, his black leather gloves covered with a dark, sanguine liquid, which oozed through the fingers, hitting the ground. His knees buckled, his left hand supporting his fallen body as he continue to cough.
Ooc: I wandered away from the lake after leaving behing my stalker (who I believe is still following me). I tarried with AAM, met the others... I think that's about it. Later Xephos. He turned his head to Sharix "How're you, Sharix?" He asked, his musical voice soft with care.
Respecting her privacy, he left it at that. He still felt ominous eyes upon his character, but he shrugged it off as a pest problem. "If I may ask, Alaric... Why do you venture with these folk?"
Ooc: lol, sorry, I typed it too fast. "I see..." he whispered mournfully, staring forward, his cowl shadowing his sorrow. With expert stealth, he slid back to Lynn's side "Why is a young woman like yourself traveling with such dangers lurking about?" he asked, smiling under the cowl.
A twinge of regret beat at his heart, judging Alaric before he knew him... He pushed it away, nodding to Alaric as he understood the command. He turned and stared at Elex "May I ask what your part is?"
"Oh? Really? I told you I won't allow any of you to die, remember?" He spoke truthfully, caring. "If another innocent light goes out, another tear one has to shed. And this one does not wish that fate. That he doesn't." He continued to walk, keeping his memories subdued in the back of his head. "Stay optimistic, don't be brought down to despair."
"Hopefully?" he asked, growing concerned.
"I hope so," he whispered. A sudden gloom fell upon him, but only for a moment. "Do you know what we face?" he asked, hoping to get more information.
"Yes," he replied, ignoring the tone in Alaric's voice. "Where are we headed?"
"Sessamaru, that I am." He introduced himself, speaking in his formal speech, his musical accent running in the air like wind. "It is nice to meet your aquaintance, every one of you..." he began to cough terribly, his black gloved hands covered with a dark, sanguine liquid as he removed it from his lips. His knees trembled, but he walked, acting like the cough was nothing, even as the blood dripped on to the road.
"Good!" He exclaimed happily, ignoring the "crowded' remark. He landed upon the ground, walking side by side with Exel and Alaric. "It's lovely to make your aquaintance, erm..." he stared at Alaric, awaiting for an introduction.
"Sessamaru, that I am." He replied, his voice now soft and musical once again. "May I ask your name?"
Ooc: Awesome :P "That headache of your's says otherwise. What if danger approached in your weakened state? What protection would you have? None. I can't allow you all to die..." He spoke softly as he stopped playing the sorrowful melody."You made a sacrifice that would leave you open. I applaud for that choice, but without another sword at your side, your life is forfeit. Got it?" He asked, his voice stern and cool. He stared at Exel with a smile as he turned about, his face still hidden in shadow. "Hello, young one," he spoke kindly to Exel from above.
Ooc: with that settle, we're good ^^ "Experience, knowledge, analysing every little thing... I am, in a way, quite old. But young... It's complicated. Even the oldest entity of this place, probably you, would never understand." he spoke, his kind voice returning. "I'm not wasting your time. You NEED me around, for my wisdom, my knowledge, and my blades." He spoke in a matter-of-fact tone, his musical tone still somber. He relieved his ocarina from its pocket and began to play, ignoring Alaric's pain.
Ooc: A tad bit rough for an ultimatum, Xephos... But we'll try. (I suck with jokes anyway :P) "To kill a Forgotten is like trying to kill your beloved. It can't be done... For I am the last. But, you need to learn how to build your strength from scratch, not let it return slowly, to kill you. It will be a fair if you wish to build a newer strength as your old adds on..." Sessamaru spoke apologetically. Mentally, he slipped his ace card in his bracers. He still did not turn. He breathed slightly. "Why do you hate everything different? Why do you act like you know everything?" he asked gently, jumping slightly in the air, whispering a rune to allow him to float over the companions, his back facing their heads as he lay above them.
Sessamaru was not shocked by that statement. "Weakling?" he asked, his voice holding gravity. "Show me what power you have. I bet I can beat you in two moves." He did not turn to face Alaric.
"My life? I will admit that my life is less valuable to everyone else, and for that, I am glad... But, you who act so superior, releasing an air of dependance for the weak making you feel like everything is on your shoulders... I find it a bit pathetic. I followed you for so long, stalked you. Making sure nothing bad happened... Until I was sidetracked," he lowered his shadowed gaze to his right hip. A light supernatural moan filled the air. He shifted his gaze back to the angel "So tell me... How are you going to kill an entity who followed you without your knowledge? Such as my little trick?" He taunted, wanting to play a card to draw Alaric into a spar. Sessamaru truly did live a terrible life, but he held it to himself. Alaric, to him, was someone who should be challenged with wisdom and sparring. Alaric, to him, needed more practice with swordplay and magic.
"You're young by my standards, boy..." he spoke, giving up his kind act, becoming stern and serious, "Why hold age over everyone? Why act like you're more important than them?" he asked, his voice cold and smooth. A gust of wind surrounded him, acting like a shield. "Have you ever spent aeons in darkness? Where the forlorn whisper dark, terrible secrets in your nightmares?" A melancholy filled the air, surrounding Sessamaru.
