Vexen had materialized in his lab, tired from a meeting that he already knew the outcomes of, not at all noticing the other person in his privacy with him. So that was it. Xangel will be a part of the Organization, and to be honest, he did not know what to think of this matter. The girl hasn't exactly proven herself, and he was neutral. As he kept walking, he raised his head up from looking at the floor in contemplation, and then halted abruptly as he noticed the main topic of talk in front of him. He wasn't pleased, and Vexen rounded up on her quickly enough. "What are you doing here? I thought you would perhaps be in your new room, or, I forgot, they haven't told you where you will be residing, have they? I need stuff to do, including finishing cleaning up the remnants of my machine."
Axel sighed as the ship was finally empty of the heart snatching creatures, the survivors beginning to straighten up from crouching and ducking, even hiding from the lasers, and soon, mutters and whispering began to form around the crowds, growing louder every minute, some even cheering. But the contentment was short-lived as there was a sudden metal sounding wail deep in the ship, shaking the floors, and he gasped when he felt the ship shift and tilt a little. It was then he realized that Saïx had done damage to the cruise, something he had forgotten...and it might be sinking. It made the audience fall silent as well, and some were beginning to run around, some with their belongings already packed, surprisingly, and thankfully some of the crew members had made it out so they can guide the rest. It seemed they had time to prepare before, but now... Leading Shigiku once more, he made his way towards Xemnas, still in his sleeping clothes, without his teeth brushed, hell, he didn't have shoes. This had to be the worst morning he had ever had, hands down. There will be time for that, he was sure, he never took things out of his suitcase alot, and he could get ready in a jiffy. Reaching the male on the floor, he let go of Shigiku for the moment, and shook the shoulders of his leader. "Xemnas!"
Larxene scoffed, placing her hand on her hips, her eyebrows creasing more and more in annoyance he continued to speak, and she giggled at him amusedly, raising a mockingly well-shaped eyebrow in return. Her lips were set between a line of a smirk, or a thin line, and she narrowed her eyes at him unpleasantly as she saucily replied, rolling her eyes to the side, "Spare me. I don't need your help, I didn't ask for it, I don't give a damn whether you want to aid me in regaining my health, and you can't force me into anything I don't want to do. And that means resting. And then I'll be more than happy to kick your carcass if you don't get out, until the point gets across. Savvy?" She was glad to find out that her sentences came out clear if she concentrated enough, and her stuffed nose didn't hinder the sarcasm in it as well. Dropping her hands to her sides, she began to saunter over to the shadowed corner of her room, passing around the end of her bed as she made her way to the metal door that was the entrance to her unused torture chamber, her heeled boots clicking on the floor. Holding back a sneeze, set on not giving him the pleasure of that so he could continue blabbering, Larxene couldn't help but think there was something odd about Zexion, he was back to that unbearable flirting way of his, she could note, and she wondered for a moment...he did faint again... Turning her body around to face Zexion suspiciously, she asked in a airy tone, smiling, "Before I take you to our dear Luxord, answer me this question. What were the words I said to you back in Demyx's room? Oh, and not when I left, before you woke up?"
His grim expression turned into shock as a loud yell penetrated through the screen, making him jump a bit on the unexpected occurrence. Blinking for a moment, he went to glance at the meeting slowly, and saw Roxas shout indignantly that he was being replaced, and Axel had to admit, he couldn't admire the boy more, he truthfully was a real friend, even when he was dead. However, this didn't change the Superior's mind as he simply scolded Roxas in the end, yet he 'felt' more confident as other members protested this as well, and he smirked. "Aw. They care. Somewhat. Pfft." He watched as the Superior ordered Saïx to update on the meeting to those who missed it. The only ones who weren't there were Zexion and Larxene, which will be easy if they come to the Throne Room if the Diviner was willing to wait. The Cloaked Schemer was probably aware of this, considering he was always with Xangel, that counted him out, he already knew, so what was left was a certain female. Not as upset as he was before, considering the disagreement to the news, he turned to look to the other receptor where Larxene and the rest were, now noticing that it was three, or if you count the new girl, four against one, unfair, and while Larxene was strong, that was overpowering, though he stayed quiet as he saw the situation unfold. Axel smiled for a moment as he heard Larxene's words, and watched her turn around to leave. He was relieved that she had faith in what Reixa had said, and didn't let this new addition sway her. Max was so wrong on the gullible remark, not to mention, the blond ones as well. Roxas shook his head in disappointment and sadness, and his eyes went to look at his lap, cursing the Superior in his mind, yet knowing it was to expected of him to say such words. At least, he had some on his side of the argument, so he knew his words weren't spewed out in vain. But...he didn't want her here...why didn't that Xangel imposter say anything? Now he had to endure watching her sit in Axel's chair all the time... Saïx nodded, yet did not know where they were at the moment. He decided to wait here for five minutes in case a specific one showed up, so he wouldn't have to bother looking for her. Besides that, he was interested on watching Roxas, the kid looking like he was about to either blow or cry. Maybe both. Which shouldn't be possible for a Nobody. Then again, he was always a special case... Summoning one Berserker, he ordered it to find Larxene, and tell her to report to the Throne Room for him to explain of what she had missed. Zexion did not matter, because he was positive he knew what was to be said, and if not, will hear it elsewhere soon enough.
Tifa took it as the truth, she didn't see dishonesty, but the reason she asked was because if they were to have a baby, she wanted to see if he would stay with her though it all, or rarther, to be sure. Nevertheless, she wasn't getting anything else from him as he turned over, and sighing, looking at his back, she dug more into her covers and pillow. The deal with Yuffie was on her mind now, though she would wonder about that later, as she was too tired to to even use her brain. Flickering her eyes close, she slowly dragged her way into sleep, her breathing slowing down as she calmed. "I don't know," Axel honestly replied to Angel, but heading to stare at Rei instead. The day had really strecthed over them, and he wasn't sure if they were still going to their planned trip anymore. "We're still suppose to go to the beach, but I'm not certain since alot of things had happened. I'll be willing though, if you are Rei. I think now is only..." He stared down at his digital black wristwatch, checking the time." Three-thirty...strange, I thought this problem lasted longer than this..."
Axel looked at her in surprise, wondering if he heard wrong. Magic...? He didn't have time to contemplate this, however, because then a sudden barrage of lasers nonstop began to shower down on them as they were moving to help as much as they could, and Axel pushed Shigiku out of they from harm into a corner with him, covering her tiny body under him, as he shifted his head around for the from source, yet he knew who it was by now, the only one to do that. Lifting his eyes upward, he spotted the Superior above him, flying, and shaking his head, he yelled, "Master Xemnas, STOP! You might hurt people by accident! Take it easy!!"
Axel watched as this new girl appeared to taunt, and he blinked, wondering where she came from, but looked about Roxas’s age. It sounded familiar because it had some childish tone that was more typical of Larxene’s voice, but that’s as far as comparison goes, and he grimaced when she mentioned the whole hypnosis deal., something that he didn’t expect to be brought up. Yet she was exaggeration on the whole “sleeping” with him part. Surely, Reixa wouldn’t have let it gone that far if he hadn’t kept a bit of his senses, would she? He didn’t think she wanted him that much. Still, made him wonder…could’ve they had sex? He shuddered. It was lucky it didn’t get to that point, because there was no way he could ever forgive himself despite it not being his fault, hell, he probably could never look at Larxene again if so. Axel was distracted from his deliberations as he heard his name mentioned, and he peered into the Throne Room screen, hearing Xemnas talk of his demise. He saw everyone’s faces of surprise, others nonchalant as if already expecting it, but they began to whisper to each other again, but they shut as the Superior continued. What he heard next made something inside him constrict, making it hard to swallow, and he listlessly backed off , not knowing what to think. “…our Number VIII…” So that’s what he was ? Easily replaceable? Not having enough respect for his fall, and simply giving someone else his position?… Saïx remained silent as ever, ignoring everyone’s reaction as he knew perfectly well what had occurred, though his gold, penetrating eyes shifted to Roxas, who appeared as if he was slapped in the face, and seemed to be looking from Xemnas to Xangel. This might actually get interesting… “NO!” Roxas shouted in anger, slamming his fist in the chair’s arm rest, making everyone stare at him due to his sudden burst of objection. He didn’t care for the pair of eyes looking at him, but turned his furious and sharp expression to Xemnas in protest, “You can’t do that!! Is that what we all are?!! One goes, and we are disposable?!! It isn’t fair, and that girl could never match up to what Axel was!! Doesn’t anyone here have honor?!!” He then narrowed his eyes at Saïx, never hating him so much until now…it was him to blame, he was the one who killed Axel. He should’ve never accepted that deal. “I hate you! And if I had the chance, I would’ve murdered you just like you did Axel, bast**rd!”
Hearing the scream, he snapped his head sideways quick enough for his neck to crack, and he hissed for a moment and winced, but still went to eye Shigiku. Spotting her on the floor, he simply raised his chakram, and hit the little Heartless on the head with one spike, his feelers cutely going up in surprise, making it disappear in a a black and purple wisp of smoke. Helping Shigiku up as he went to grab her hand again, he steadied her, before weakly smiling and saying, "Those small Heartless only are from the ones who have the least darkness in their hearts, and they usually come from small children such as you. They're not that dangerous, in fact, if you're a Nobody, you can keep it as a pet." Making them walk faster now as he was pulling her, his eyes searched around for more people in need of help, and spotting a group, he caught flame to his weapon and swung it in a spin quickly, cutting through the Heartless one by one as they all disappeared, the captured hearts releasing themselves as his chakram diminished in a spark of light as it hit the last one. Thinking he needed more help, he focused, and soon enough, many Dusks, and his own Nobodies, Assasins, conjured up from the floor around them, and Axel's eyes shifted to them all. "Simple order. Destroy any Heartless as much as you are capable of, you know you're stronger compared to mere Shadows or NeoShadows." As commanded, they all went to attack the Heartless in slashes and attacks as they spread out everywhere, getting rid of them in a handful, and he sighed, keeping on going. "You alright, Shigiku? Damn, I forgot you got nothing to defend yourself with...." OOC: This reminds me of this picture: xD Heartless
Aqua, of course. There's finally a chance to play as a girl somewhat, and I'm not going to miss the chance of playing a female first.
All of you are correct, KH wouldn't be Kingdom Hearts without the Disney factor in it. Every world is based on a Disney movie, the king and his subjects are Mickey Mouse and the gang, the Kingdom Key keychain resembles Mickey's head, it just wouldn't have the same magical quality. And I think is original. People never thought that a Disney game mixed with Square Enix could ever succeed, but it proved everyone wrong in the end, and was a commercial explosion. I think the reason people don't want the Disney in it is because of the restrictions. There's no blood, there's no cuts or scratches when really fighting, the tone of it has to be kept childish, no cursing, edit things out, etc. And while it is tempting to let it be more mature, KH would then unfortunately turn like every game out there, and loose what made it unique.
Axel had to dodge a few people that were running away from where the boats were, and now that he was getting closer, he could see the side of the ship filled with Heartless, pink hearts floating everywhere he could catch, and the black creatures snatching them as they went up. The boats were even broken, probably due to the panic, and he knew this had gotten way out of hand. He didn't expect a Titanic incident when he went to this vacation. He had to cover Shigiku's eyes for a moment as he disminished a chakram, as a Heartless was wrenching away the heart of a boy her age, and Axel winced inwardly, looking away as well, knowing it was too late. Passing them, he stopped from his running, cautiously putting down Shigiku on the floor, thinking it safe for now. Grabbing her hand tight with his chakram free one, he led her as they began to jog together."Remember, Shi, defend yourself." Concentrating, he set fire to a massie group of Heartless in the premises surrounding some of the citizens, bursting them into flames, freeing a heart each time one disappeared. He noticed the people he saved as the inferno dispersed after doing its job staring at him in shock and horror, pehaps startled by what he did, yet it shouldn't be him they have to worry about now. "What the hell you all looking at?! RUN AND LEAVE, you ******s!!!" That seemed to wake them up as some scrambled to their feet, and began to run, grabbing their children as well as they began to find a safe spot.
Axel sigh in relief when the Guardian went for Xemnas instead, didn't change the fact that the thing can go below ground, however, it was dangerous putting Shigiku down. But now that it was distracted, he could now maybe help the people outside and get rid of the Heartless attacking them. It might be a bit too late, as perhaps many of them got their hearts clawed out, but that didn't mean the rest are sacrificial as well. He glanced over at Saix. "Hey, Werewolf, I think two against one is a little unfair, right?" He'll let the Diviner figure his message for himself, and then turned to Vexen, and Angel, beginning to walk off to the doorway quickly, diminishing the fire shield in the process. "I'm going to see what I can do to aid outside, though I'd prefer Angel staying away from Heartless, so help her, Vexen? The last thing we need is to see her turn into a Nobody." Giving a look to all, he left his room before the Guardian could notice, heading towards the screams and shouts down the hall.
"Yeah, well, she's absent at the moment, and so is Roxas, just when we need someone with keyblades. I don't have any ideas, as the Guardian can't die unless Ansem is destroyed...the best we can do is hold it down, which can only work for awhile...." Axel recited outloud, in a annoyed tone, his ears picking up that the voices outside were now even lower than before, and that they were all suffering the same fate he had. Saix wanted to help Xemnas, he guessed, and he would've tried to help the innocent pedestrians, but he had this Guardian to take care of. Axel saw as it disappeared underground, and quickly scooped Shigiku in his arms from the floor as he dismissed his chakrams for the second, carrying her, knowing that his shield wouldn't work if that pain in the a** came from the ground. Bending, he whispered to the girl, "Hold on tight with your arms and legs, okay? Is going to be hard fighting with you here, but can't risk your life, if anything, protect yourself." Glancing at Vexen, he then waited patiently to see where the Guardian would pop up, his senses focusing on any sign of movement. Trusting Shigiku to grasp on, he took back his arms from encircling her, and resummoned his chakrams again in sparks of fire, leaving the fire shield still in case of any emergency
"I can take care of myself," Larxene tried to snarl, but with her muffled voice it came more as a snort. Pouting in irritation, she went to sit upright again, and with a rustle, she took off the blanket that Zexion gave her rebelliously, and placed it on the bed, to lay unused now. She shudder a little at the cold, but tried not to show it as best as she could, though it all ended up for naught as she went to sneeze, two times now, only barely managing to cover her mouth in time. Blinking away the tears that formed from the sting in her eyes without her consent, she noticed that first, she should take off the uniform, which was what had gotten wet, and still was, a tiny bit. Larxene needed to get into something warm and dry, and get hefty amounts of tissues. She didn't know if Vexen had any medicine, but she'll ask for them anyway, not that it can kill the sickness. Medicine only takes away the symptoms, and the virus has to leave on his own, the least she can do is help her body destroy it (no resting, she didn't need to), unless of course, Vexen found the cure for the common cold. Wouldn't put it pass her. Standing up to her feet, and gazing at Zexion for a moment in a frown, she began haughtily, "I don't need rest. What I need is for you to leave, since I'm going to change, and even then I'd want you to leave. If it wasn't for the cold, you would be suicidal coming into my room, a rule that every male in this castle knows not to do, unless permitted. Shame I'm not in the mood for pain." Larxene then flapped her hands forward and backward in a message to get out, like he was a fly, while her face warned of him not doing so can lead to force. "Now shoo."
Keeping his eyes on the Guardian, he took a small glare at Vexen, obviously annoyed. Yeah, he had heard about that name too, which was obviously not true, and a insult. And this whole Mansex thing is getting old as well, okay, wow, Xemnas can spell out Mansex. Axel didn't find it particular funny, except for the first few times, then it just got boring. "Suck your old stick, Vexen, I thought you were better than stupid internet jokes." Muttering under his breath, he turned to Shigiku. "I rather not tell you my real name, Pumpkin. It doesn't matter or has any importance anymore in this life, and I can never return to it no matter how much I try. To you and everyone, I'm Axel, and Axel only."
Axel did a double take at hearing Shigiku's question, as he was still inside the fire shield, where Angel should be. She had a heartd to lose. He blinked as he stared down at the girl, and scrambled his brain for something to say fast. For some reason, he didn't want her to know what he is, what if she refused him then? He'll reveal the truth later, though, and wait for her reaction. But not now...not now. "Well, we are...immune to them, you see? Call it some kind of syndrome we have, that we placed in ourselves. Saix, Luxord, Vexen, and I are in a group called Organization XIII, Xemnas is our founder, leader, and our Superior. Other than us five, there are eight left you haven't met yet, unless you saw Roxas. And we're all numbered on the time we joined. For example, I'm Number Eight, because I was the 8th member to join the gang. We also...you see, 'Axel' is not my real, real name, is just my real name scrambled around with a added 'X'. That's why we all have 'X's in our names....you might get confused on that part." He took a pause there, before adding, "The reason we all know each other is because we all live in a big floating castle together..." Okay, that was half the truth, he just left the no hearts equals no emotions part. He breathed. "We all have powers of elements, and weapons. Mine's Fire and Chakrams. Any questions?"
Axel narrowed his eyes as a few more Heartless popped up, sensing the hearts here, and perhaps, the people were wasting fast. There's no way they could escape the Heartless, even if they get on the boats. The screams and yells of panic were even dimming down, and Axel shook his head as he closed his eyes in empathy. Damn, these innocent people and children... Some of them should go outside and help before the whole ship will be empty and all hearts freed or taken away. He couldn't leave because he had people to protect, but maybe if he told this to the others... Opening his eyes, the floor went in flames starting from his feet as a bunch of Heartless burned until they were nothing but wisps, and dead, the captured hearts released as they were flying away through the ceiling and out...to their Kingdom Hearts. At least this was somehow helping get closer to their goal. OOC: Shigiku should ask why aren't the Heartless taking Axel's heart :D, or the rest like Saix or Luxord, or even Namine.
I think the big shoes are to represent the fact that they are teenagers, or young. Zexion's (click on his name) are also a bit like that, but obviously smaller (and not really Mickey like shoes), so it makes me think he's around the age of 18 or 19. The same with Riku. Though yeah, is mostly on Sora and Roxas who have abnormal feet x.X. Axel has been stated as a "man", so he's in the 20-22 range, no big looking shoes for him. This has been already been posted too. But man, do I like Axel's pose...*stares at hotness*
Vexen - Shielders/Academics Lexaeus - Mercenaries/Silencers Zexion - Schemers Marluxia - Reapers (seriously, there isn't anything more fitting) Larxene - Savages Lexaeus was hard, and I got the names, because from the ones we know, they always attribute to something a Org. member has, whether it be weapon, or name, or anything else that is unique of them.
Larxene always reminded me of Bellatrix, though except the whole loyalty and obsession. Especially in the movie, where you hear her giggling and laughing like a nut. The others, though, I never made the connection. I'm guessing Kairi is Ginny? xP *crickets chirp* Just a thought... The 14th Member can be Narcissa too, with Larxene being Bellatrix. Though the Nymph also reminds me of Elle Bishop from Heroes, but that's another story.
