Chris made a low, grunting sound. It was what he made when he was startled. He ran to Erin, trying to hail him over.
He said something under his breath then turned to her. "For how long?" He remembered the hospital they put orphans in. It was absolutely horrible.
He shot a glance he knew Riku could see, even with the hood on.
