Yes, it is a form of music. Why wouldn't it be? It has rhythm and (often) instrumental background beats. Not to mention a bunch of musical styles and bands have at least been influenced by rap and hip-hop (Beastie Boys, Linkin Park, Bloodhound Gang and Rage Against The Machine to name a few).
Exactly my biggest concern with it. They'd want to do it by the book or not do it at all. They'll probably go for the second option. I kinda like the design, and most of his designs to be honest, although I agree that they look out of place. This one's the Lilypad, which is supposed to be a huge floating metropolis. Favored location was the coast of France.
