Which was the challenge to it, and increased the satisfaction of winning. Then again, we never really saw it as winning or losing or as a contest all the time. We spoke of "owning/overwhelming/humiliating" someone which wasn't achieved by simply posting the funniest picture either. Whatever works I suppose. Well, maybe it's for the best that it ended before it pissed people off.
Well it used to be custom to declare a spam war won when the loser admits the loser's defeat, and not the fangirls. ;)

Before you had claimed yourself the winner, was 007 even aware that he was competing against you? It's easy to beat someone in a race if that person doesn't even know that he's racing against you. ;)

Spam/image/insult whoring for at least five pages. Popular noob claims to have won without there being a contest. Groupie noobs (popular noobs but not really) concur. Styx enters the thread and sighs deeply at the amount of sawdust in people's heads.
