    Admiration

No. I like to keep a clean head on my shoulders and keep in mind that they're all human like the rest of us. Sure, not everyone is equal in terms of capabilities but I do realize that nobody's perfect and that I should have overly high expectations of anyone.

If someone were to badmouth my friends, I look at the credibility of that statement rather than the person it's coming from or is directed to. Of course I will give my friends the benefit of doubt but I won't get mad at anyone for saying something negative about my them unless that person made deliberately false accusations.

I've seen it. It's an awesome film with one-liners galore and hard action. It's one of the few Tarantino films I actually like, and quite possibly his best one imo. So yeah, I don't suck.

Probably not. Our personalities were a tad more vicious than yours at the time.

One member committed suicide, one stole a another member's girlfriend. These events lead to a schism within NU. A lot of underlying hostility arose even though we used to be great friends, or so we pretended I guess. :D Eventually we all stopped caring. We hardly talk anymore.

This takes me back. We had something called Noob United on my previous forum where we blended our original usernames with Organization names (Robxas, Lizxene, Marguxia, Oixord, Ramyx, Maxel, Staiyx, Kingxion, Jerxeaus, Davexen, Xaldimander and Xigbor). Had matching sigs after a while too. Maybe you guys should have something like that?

We served the same cause your Gentlemen collective does now: keeping the forum alive, bashing noobs, becoming staff eventually, awesome MSN convos etc. As a matter of fact there were only two major differences:
    * We were/got acquainted in real life. Went to rock festivals together and all that.
    * We weren't addicted to memes.
Of course, the second difference would make us vastly superior, were it not that the first difference eventually became our "disbanding".

I don't get repped unfairly. I'm so awesome that I just deserve positive rep all the time.

It was directed at the OP. Little did I know it ended right in the middle of a shitstorm. :D One which I'd like to see being put to an end sooner rather than later by the way.

Sexual selection is a part of natural selection. Natural selection isn't about survival of the individual per se; it's about what genes get passed on to the next generation.
So if, by means of sexual selection, a partner chooses to mate with you, then your genes get passed on to the next generation. It may not help the individual in its own lifetime though.

On the other hand, advantages in regards to survival also help the individual to help reach the age of sexual maturity so he can mate etc. Life's all about sex. Evolution says so.

I am misunderstood and I'm to blame for it. My opinions and choices of action either come out of the blue or seem to contradict eachother, because I have the habit of not filling people in all the time. There's a form of reason behind all that, but I'm not giving anyone a head start by telling them. I'd rather be misunderstood than see-through.

Not interested. The films are even worse than the books, and the books were pretty boring imo. I'm what you might call a twihater, although I'm more apathetic about the hype than anything else. I'm not going to watch it though, there are better movies out there.

By the way Pezz, try not to stray too far off-topic. ;)

    So....

I see what you mean. People grow out of the things they used to love.
And yes, this site has changed, or so I've heard. But a lot of great new people are joining too imo! Also, maybe you should try making an RP yourself, if you haven't done so already. Could be fun, right?
Even so, it's probably a good idea to find some additional pastimes as well. I'm sure there are other things you will enjoy once you tried them.

(By the way, is this a goodbye thread? If so, then I should move this for you.)
