Because I'm supposed to redirect entertainment on someone else's expense to the Spam Zone to reduce the odds of anyone taking it seriously. As much as I enjoy it, I don't feel like cleaning up the mess when things escalate. Better to snuff these things while they're still fun. That being said... I'm quite excited about this. It's only one fossil but I do believe that this is a discovery of great importance. I hope they'll come across more so we have confirmation. I'd love it if skeptical people would have to wave the "lack of a missing link" argument goodbye. :D Ticks you off when you read that they didn't appreciate the value of it, doesn't it? :p
The night before last night I dreamt about Barack Obama playing and singing Sweet Child O' Mine (he did sound exactly like Axl Rose in the original version though). I often have dreams like that.
Not all bacon is fatty though. In fact I prefer lean bacon myself.
