Quick sand is a living organism. And living things need to eat and drink, right? So what happens, is it takes ahold of you, using a different kind of mouth(Instead of opening, it just grabs you like a hand). And while you are going under, it eats you in a horrible way. It has seventeen rows of teeth, that spin around rapidly. Just imagine being sucked into a garbage disposal.

Ah, there you go. I suggest darkening a side a little more, and add some lighting. Also, gaussian blur the bg at about 1, erase what's over the render, and sharpen the render. Then, I would say blend the render in a little, by adding a clipping mask. If you would like to know what that is, pm me I guess o.O.
Your renders blend in too well with your bg, most of the time xD. Make the focal abit easier to see, and maybe add a few c4d's for flow.
