"Yeah, I like it..." Axel replied, a bit muffled due to his mouth in her shoulder blade, and he felt a bit happier to hear a laugh out of Rei. He guessed it was a stimulant to relax his own thoughts and emotions, but he had to open his eyes at Rei's question. Tensing, he moved his head softly, so that his chin was now resting on the same place his mouth just was, taking in what she had said. Axel wasn't aware that he had been executing pink aura, and he scrunched his eyebrows. Was he in love? He had feelings for Larxene kind of, but it was too fast and early to call it something as deep and important as love, and Rei was already placed in where she stood with him, but it wasn't like he could tell her his attraction either. Calm, instead, he just simply answered the question asked, shaking his head, "No, that's a bit too far for me..." Feeling Cloud yawn, she also found herself yawning as if contagious, and it was then Tifa wondered how long has it been into this dance, though it was probably long, it ended at 12. The slow song had finished, and with that, she slowly raised her head up, staring at Cloud, a bit confused on his show of sleepiness. "Are you tired? We can rest now if you feel like it, I don't mind...speaking of that, what time is it?"
Axel grinned, giving Angel a "look now, even someone is willing to learn" stare, before he placed his green eyes on the blonde girl standing before him, nodding his head to show his yes. "Of course I will teach you, at least somebody here wants me to." It was obvious he directed this at the other girl with him, but then began to look around, noting the beach. "Though, we have to meet at the pool in the ship, the beach won't do good teaching for beginners with the waves. Just tell me when you want to begin, and we'll do so."
Axel sighed, wondering what he had gotten himself into. But at least he understood a little, and could differentiate...he had mulled over carefully, and there was no denial from his heart or mind that he placed his emotions correctly for the two girls. He had held and kissed them both, and it was different, but with Larxene...what were they, once again? And...he even wasn't sure how far her feelings for him went, though it was worth it, he knew, even if just a while, and he offered her not only him, but his friendship. And talking about that...he couldn't help but think he was leading Rei on all this time, though now it was blatant why he didn't mind touching her, the way she danced with him, getting into the kiss...it made sense. He heard the song end, distantly, but remained in his spot on her shoulder anyway, not exactly ready at the moment. It was then he smelled the very scent of creamy vanilla, filling his nostrils full blast now...and he was a bit surprised he didn't notice it before. Before he could even stop himself, though he knew that was to relieve the tension, he husked, "You smell good and delicious..."
OOC: It wasn't meant to be funny xP, just to show a reminder, is all....^^;. And I have to so LOL at Cloud. Finally, he will xD, it's a pinnacle moment. But *cough* enough of that >.<. "No, it isn't..." Axel protested in a whisper, a bit altered to the whole thought now, though for some reason, he had a feeling he said it a bit too early. Still, it wasn't fine, because he knew just what unrequited feelings felt like, and it was hard...and he truly regret it bringing it up now. Bringing her more closer to the fact that their upper bodies were in contact again, he leaned his head down, digging his face into her bare shoulder, holding her strong and tight. "But you're really a great and amazing girl...that's obvious..." Rei fitted what he wanted in a girl, yet, he didn't think he would ever drive off the feelings he was having for Larxene at the moment, who was also a proper candidate, because, he was finally getting to know the blonde, and found that she was quite different than he perceived her to be...and he already admitted to himself that if the circumstances were different, he would have been with her so long ago. The only thing he was clear that made him question Rei, was that he was attracted to her, he knew that now, but there was nothing if driven by lust... Tifa nodded with a hum, his mind filled with the thoughts if maybe she was or wasn't. Well, she did wait this long, and there wasn't anything wrong with losing it to the one you're loving now. Tifa was even feeling nervous, but excited at the prospect, and even expectant. Sighing, closing her eyes tight to quell her contemplations, she said, "I may...but even if we don't do it, will you still sleep in my room anyway?"
Axel looked at her confused, not hearing precisely what she said, since he was a little farther away from where Angel stood, and Naminé. "What was that? Repeat it again, I didn't get it..."
OOC: No, I got the exaggeration part, that's why I edit it xP. And Vexen will never be convincing, got that vibe in CoM. Vexen just simply stared, not knowing exactly what to do or say. Roxas was bound to find out sooner or later, so could he just admit now, after all, it would be worse if Larxene came, and that would tear it up. He nibbled the inside of his bottom lip a little, wondering what type of decision should he make. The kid had a right to know...and it would only crash harder if he got all happy while he lied and said he was alright, and that he was awake...and alive. Roxas' smile dampered a bit, finding a foreboding tension thickening, that mad ehis hair stand up from the back of his head. It didn't help that both people just stood, there, not saying anything, or answering his question. A dread filled up his stomach, passing through his chest and arms and fingers like a ominous nerve, and beginning to breath quickly, he silently stepped to the machine, staring at the fire, wondering if this was one of Axel's tricks to surprise him with something. "Axel?! If you're in there, speak up, I'm not falling for any tricks you know! They won't tell me anything...." He waited for some type of sarcastic or dry reply like usual, but after a while, nothing came. At this, Roxas felt his throat dry, and the sensation of worry beginning to settle, and he found his voice shaking. "C-come on Axel, this isn't funny..I want to know if you're alright..." For some reason, this hit Vexen a bit hard, seeing the look on Roxas' face, and sighing grimly, he gave a look to Xangel to put off the fire. He had to know now.
OOC: Finally xD. A few were getting confused there, I'll put my post later, but Xangel doesn't have a heart...unless that wa spart of the exaggeration.
Axel just chuckled, thinking over Roxas and Naminé together. They would be cute, he would give them that, and this might work out for Roxas as well. In fact...he would like one of his own one day, in truth, ignoring the fact that they were Nobodies, and thus, can't feel. At least their kind of pointless argument was ceased now, but hearing what she said at the end, caught his interest. He raised his eyebrows questionably, wondering. "And what favor would that be?"
The reminder of Roxas made Vexen wince, but since he had come a long way from his panic state he was in, and "sadness" of his obvious failure experiment, he waved a careless hand. "It will be explained to him....you just have to st-" He was interrupted by a sudden swoosh, and felt his breath caught in his throat when he saw who it was. Roxas eyed the room a bit anxious, yet hopeful, looking around to see if anything was different. When he set his eyes to the two people in the room, Vexen suspiciously freezing at seeing him, he raised a eyebrow. Thinking it over, it was probably him that took him to his bedroom, and was probably nervous of what he'll do, but that didn't matter at the moment. He then noted Xangel, and the ring of fire surrounding the casket, and his eyes widened, a smile grazing his features. If there was fire, that must be Axel's doing. He ran to them easily, studying the flames that crinkled, and stared at the two expectantly, close to being excited. "It's fire, right? So Axel's in there and is fine?!" OOC: He doesn't know Xangel's power yet....this is going to kill me...
OOC: That avatar made me jump again xD. "It isn't rude, is true!" Axel exclaimed, defending himself a she pouted, rubbing the part where Angel slapped his arm, even though it didn't really hurt. He then turned his attention at Naminé knowingly, a amused grin on his face. "You don't do a good job hiding it, like now, for example. I've seen you....don't think I don't know...hey, Roxas might like you too..." Here, he gave her a nod, though his eyes were devious. "Yet...that is all I will say..."
Tifa had to laugh a litte, the sound and vibration feeding off on his chest, and blushing a bit when he gave her a kiss on the cheek. She even felt him shiver at the thought, and lowly said, "I think it would ne interesting...they'll call each other posers, I'd think..." Hesitating a little, she breathed out the next words so quietly that you coudlbarely hear them. "Are you going to sleep in my room tonight? Just a question, that's all..." Olette just finished drinking her own in one swoop, blatantly enjoying this alcoholic mixture. She wanted more, but she thought it would be a bit too risky, she was a bit hyped though. She turned to Roxas, "Is kind of funny how we always missed the slow dances...are you done yet?" OOC: I find this cool due to what Cloud said before about Roxas.
Axel just blinked at Naminé, surprised that she went to apologize when he should have done the same. Snapping himself back together, he send her a smile, his tone meaningful and honest, "It's okay. I should've been more considerate of people's feeling on it I guess, so I apologize too...for everything..." He then sent her a sly smirk, "Besides, it wouldn't be good if Roxas' best friend and his soon-to-be girlfriend are at odds at each other, right?"
Vexen shook his head, exasparated as he straightened up from his crouched position from searching what went wrong, placing it together with his brain. "Look at the machine, it has no indication of any outside interference, not even Axel, or Zexion with the wires, since they're are intact, it seemed to damage on the inside, and the gas pressure was off the charts. A definite malfunction..." He gave a sigh as he began to rub his temples with his forefingers, wondering what to do now. This was going to be hell if anything else are aware of this, and he needed to calm down and think right, but his machine... "Xangel, please make a wall of fire surround the machine, we can't let anyone know yet..."
OOC: Maybe interrupt on Axel and Angel...? "So, what do you say? Are you still willingnot to swim?" Axel asked, and so far has pressured unto Angel, as he eyed her nonchalantly, and waited patiently for her answer. He kind of knew the big deal in it, but he found it better that she shoudl really overcome it. "Come on, now...
"What do you think?" Olette asked Roxas, as she took more sips, this time more hungrily. It was getting to her, and this wasn't so evil and sinful as she thought, and the taste was great. "Not bad..." "That's really sweet, Cloud, surprisingly," Tifa teased, a wide smile grazing her face, as she rested her head on his shoulder now, closing her eyes in bliss as they moved so slowly and tenderly. Tifa just liked breathing in his scent, being in his warmth...and she wondered how she got lucky over Aerith. Completely entranced, she mumbled absently, "You know, maybe I should visit Edge City for a little bit...seeing everyone, and if you don't mind, I might bring Axel, just because it will be interesting if him and Reno meet...." "I live to please..." was all Axel said softly and silently to her respond, noticing the slight restraint when mentioning the "friend" execution. He was beginning to feel bad again for not giving her what she needed, she deserved it, but after what he has done, plus the kiss, he knew he couldn't hand her much else. He simply just sighed inwardly when she got more comfortable, and he rested his chin gently on top of her hand, half-lidding his eyes again. Absentmindely, he told her in the same tone from before, tainted with guilt, "I'm sorry that I can't return your feelings..."
OOC: The Axel video had me gigling a bit with the whole constant snapping xD. I've seen all of Oathkeepera's videos though, but it still makes me amused. And YES, Axel hotness!! Vexen was already pacing back and forth, in disappointed and failure, and in panic to the reaction of Roxas and Larxene. The kid will probably go off the hinges, and Larxene....he rather not think of. How?! How did his beautiful experiment fail!? He had placed so much into it, and so much research, unless something happened inside. His hands shaking, trying to work his brain into finding a cause, he heard Angel, and just yelled, "I don't know!" He heaved in a huge breath, quickly stopping his repeated walking, and went towards his ruined machine. Of course, he didn't care much for Axel, he did say he was a guinea pig, but he wanted to see what had happened. Studying it closely, he checked a few pieces, until he set his eye on the compass that placed how much the machine power's gave. Vexen found it broken, and the needle pointed all the way to the dangerous side, and then it clicked, muttering to himself. "The pressure for lasting too long or having too much work must have made it dysfunction..." Roxas had quickly changed and brushed his teeth, all in a matter of short minutes, berating and scolding himself for falling asleep as he went to do things quickly, his cloak swooshing behind him. The thing that confused him was that he woke up on his own bed, and he remembered enough to know that he slumped down on the lab, so someone must have taken him here. However, today would mark a complete day he guessed, and Axel woul dbe awake, unless it took another day and if somebody did something...which he would never forgive himself for...being so careless. His stomach clenched, thinking the worse, but he couldn't jump to conclusions right away, though he had a bad feeling.... Breathing out, he quickly began to portal to Vexen's lab, wondering if the old geezer was still there, and wanting to check immediately on how things were.
OOC: Funny thing, I am listening to Celine Dion now xD. I do like some of her songs admittingly. I can see Reixa in Rivals (or even here) singing To Love You More, if you see the lyrics xP. Axel felt her fingers caress his locks again, and he bit back a little laugh at how interested she was with it. The spiky hair that he and Roxas, even Sora and Cloud, were soft and smooth, because it was natural, instead of doing so with gel and hairspray. A lot of people complimented his color red though, since it was well...so genuine, bright, and firey. Pulling Rei more closer, he closed his eyes slightly, feeling at ease for now. "So..how has your night been so far?" "Great..." Olette dryly replied, taking in a breath, and slightly took a slight sip of her drink, enough to taste it properly. She felt her face tightend as her lips curled when she swallowed, the alcohol right there obviously, but perfectly mixed with the fruity flavor. It was actually kind of good...except for the slight strongness of it. "Well...I have to admit that is quite...nice. Though I have no idea since I've never really experiemented." Tifa, this time, smiled genuinely back, wrapping the one free arm around his lower waist, and hovering her head close to the curve between his neck and shoulder. She nuzzled her face in for a while, thinking over a few things. "Always ready." She then gigled quietly, feeling slightly better. "I would have thought this song will be too sappy for you..."
OOC: Lol xD. Though you can't write alot? You can take a break if you want after this, I'll be here all day xP. I'm not even feeling in the mood, and the irony is that it's cloudy to fit it xD. Axel just nodded without a problem, finding himself encircling her in his arms again closely, holding her tight, as usual, in case the music kind of makes him of tired. That will definitely lull him to a daze, and he wondered who was the one putting this music anyway, he could even do a better job, though it did fit for slow dancing. He heaved a breath as they began to sway together, and whispered jokingly, "I guess this is better for you?" Tifa just gazed at Cloud for a moment, before just giving a uneasy small smile. She still thought that she said too much about what she dreamed to share with him.and the fact that it kind of turned him off. Either way, she kept her eyes on Cloud resolutely. "Is special enough because you're the one who I'm giving it to, that's enough for me...you don't need to promise anything." Hearing the slow song playing, almost squealing when it was Celine Dion, she looked questionably at her boyfriend. "Do you want to dance this, or take a small break?" Olette shook her head, eyeing as she placed the liquid in the plastic cup, not believing she was actually going to try this. "Nope, I barely even drink unless it's for festivities, like Christmas, New Years, stuff like that. Are you getting one?" With the cup full, she lifted it up to her lips, hesitating, already smelling the alcohol in it, and she wasn't a expert, but it seemed strong. "Goodness, what did Axel put in here...?"
OOC: Lol xD. Is not fangirlism, is that a female will like to lose it with someone she loves, and Tifa has loved Cloud for a while :3. Tifa scrunched her eyebrows when she looked up to see Cloud's reaction, and found him with a distateful expression. She blinked, a bit anxious, wondering if she had said the wrong thing. It was true though, if she never got Cloud, then of course, she will have to move on, but if anything, she wanted him to be the first one, because your innocence is special, and you should give it to a very special person. Perhaps she said too much. She broke away from him, all contact, a bit embarassed as she clasped her hands behind her back nervously. Looking down on the floor, she mumbled a bit sadly, "Sorry, I guess that was too much. Just forget I ever said that, okay?"
OOC: Um...let me see *digs* Olette sighed, giving a shrug. They reached the now empty punch table, and she grabbed a cup, though a bit reluctantly. "I don't know, I talked to him, and asked if he was going to the dance, and he said he didn't know. He's been busy a lot too, though his work isn't exactly as big as mine's." She grabbed the ladle, preparing to add the punch. "I hope this doesn't get me drunk....have you ever drank or got drunk before? I mean, with Axel your friend and all...." Axel just simple shrugged, giving her a small smile. "Is your call, actually. Do you want to slow dance once again, or do you want to sit and rest?" It was then he waited patiently for her answer, yet a repeat of what happened at the end of the one before won't be done. While he was enjoying himself with Rei, and even came close to actually lust for her, he still note that he hasn't seen Larxene since the entrance, and pondered over where could she be. Sighing, knowing that he shouldn't waste time trying to find her in this crowd, at least not without his pretty date noticing, he got it out of his mind. Axel had to remember this was Rei's night.
