"Yes, yes it is," Axel responded, as he stretched his arms upward, tilting his head to look above as he turned to look at his wristwatch, and amazed at how much time passed. He couldn't believe it was almost done, and since it was going to end anyway, they could probably leave early. He turned to look at Rei to tell her this, only to raise a eyebrow as she was interested and involved on something else that caught her eye, her face exposing utter satisfaction. Curiously following her direction, he tried to see what had her attention, and look around. It wasn't long until something bright caught his eye, and when he knew processed the person, his eyes went wide with shock, and he gaped, horrified. "Larxene..?" It was, and her sexy and beautiful dress that he had liked was now tainted with letter spelling out "****" in clear view of everyone. A few people had noticed, most in shock like himself, girls with hands over their mouths, and others holding back laughter, though the rest were too busy dancing to notice yet. Hearing a fast pace music playing, ruining the lovely moment, he sighed, and pulled his head away from resting with hers, not didn't lose contact with any other part of his body. Riku gazed into her face, and smiled. "It seems like you have a few jokes on you, huh?" It was then he heard a bit of giggles and chuckles, very quiet but there, and he searched around to see people gazing at a place. Confused, he tried to see what was it, but some were blocking his view. "What is going?" OOC: Corrected xDD.
Roxas looked up tiredly, his eyes bloodshot as he looked at the girl who had asked the question. He didn't know where Saïx, he could proably be resting, be somewhere since it was the afternoon now, he didn't know. And he showed it by shrugging his shoulders, only to placed his head back down, giving a shaky breath. And it was then he realized it wa shis fault...his fault becaus eif he didn't fall asleep like he wasn't supose to hecould have saved him in time, that if he didn't leave he would've been alerted and...he wouldn't be gone. At this, his eyes beginning to tear again as he cried more, now feeling like the worst person of the universe, that he killed his best friend....because he could have saved him... He never self hated so much until now. "Is all my fault..."
Axel rolled his eyes after he got into the pool, following Naminé, not wanting to speak to the old geezer at the moment, so he just replied, "By learning to be a good swimmer." Ignoring him for a second, or maybe for the rest of the time if he felt like it, he turned his eyes to Naminé who was still acting all shy and self-conscious, and the redhead just shook his head. "You're going to have to go deep enough so the water reaches below your chest, and I should tell you now, it takes time to learn this."
OOC: We have to wait for chula to be mean to Larxene. Nooooo.... Riku just simply begin to sway them gently, closing his eyes in the long run as he fully relaxed, and quell his senses, feeling Sharix's body against his. This was nice, and it will get more romantic when the light finally turned off. He couldn't wait for that, and he whispered. "I think you're going to like what I have planned for you, I'm not the romantic type, so I did ask for advice, I admit..." Tifa went silent as she took two more sips from her drink, thinking over places they could visit. She wasn't sure, since she was new to this town still, but a place...just somewhere. There was a place on the countryside that she heard about, affordable...."I guess it will be somewhere, I think is call Aeterna Falls. Is a place in the coutnryside...heard is nice, is like a resort. Pool, a beach, um...arcade, many things."
Axel just gave a nod, and lead her to the shallow end of the pool, walking along close to the edges. When they reached the metal stairs to get in slowly (though Axel himself just dived in the deeper end), he turned to look at Naminé, "If you're ready, get in, I'll come after you. Did you bring a towel?"
Ignoring Angel's laughing, since he didn't think that was Naminé was doing was so funny as to crack up that way, unless the girl found the smallest things too amusing. Placing a hand on her shoulder, he replied, making sure Angel heard, "At leats you're willing to try and learn, unlike a coward that is over there laughing at nothing. And..." With that trailing off, he quickly grabbed her arms, and took them off her stomach, 'exposing' her. He chuckled, eyeing her. "You shouldn't be so shy. In my opinion, you have a great body for your age, and Roxas would have gotten a nosebleed if he was here."
Riku lead her away from the tables, and a sthey went pass a few he had seen Tifa, on one side, and then there was Axel, a bit on the far off end. It seemed everyone was sitting down, but the feeling that something was going to happen still reigned. Finding a good spot, he let go of Sharix's hand, and instead wrapped a arm around her waist, taking her to him. Softly placing his chin on top of her head, he encircled the other arm around her hips, and held her in a embrace as the music swam in his head. "Everything is so calm when slow dancing, and I think they're going to turn off the dim lights soon." Olette quickly shook her head, a happy smile on her face at the prospect of spendind the day ith him. She did have some work to do, but they could wait for Sunday. Hesitantly, she went to placed her arms around him carefully, and pulled into him, giving him a hug as she rested her head in his shoulder, her stomach, as they say, getting butterflies. "I'm not busy at all...I'd love to go with you."
Roxas listened to her, but proceeded not to answer anything, as he said, he wanted a moment of peace, and being here won't help him require it. He need time to set all this in, that Axel was gone, and he would never see him again.
Axel just rolled his eyes at Angel, finding that she shouldn't be talking at the moment, since she was afraid of getting even into one, and he snapped his head up from where hear the timid voice, and held back a laugh when he saw Naminé covering. "What are you doing?" He heard Angel's laugh. "At least she isn't scared of water!!"
OOC: Curious Gate, why are you invisible? x.X Tifa too another sip, smiling at the idea of going back home for a while, feeling a bit nostalgic. "That would be nice, though is really far...would we make it and come back in time on Sunday?" Not that she didn't want to go, she'll love to, but Midgar was long ways from Twilight Town, if they did go, it would be better on one week breaks so they could have all the time they want. "I'd say we do it on Christmas Break or some other break...that we will spend it with them. If we do go to Midgar now, it will be a quick trip, barely a few hours..." Riku just smiled at that, and this is what he needed her to say. After all, even though he was a bit concerned, as long as nothing was wrong now, and she accepts, Sharix did move on, perhaps. Breathing more calmly now, he stood, taking the hand he held with him. "Come on, there's a slow song on, I want to make this worth it." Olette looked at Roxas curiously, almost hopeful. "Are you asking me out on a date?"
Axel silently went inside the pool area, wondering when Naminé was going to get here, and simple watched as adults stayed quietly in there, conversing. They were so boring, but now he needed to take the time to see how will he plan his lesson. This had to be taken step by step, and it simply couldn't be done for today. He would teach how to stroke, kick, and make sure how to float, and when she got the hang out of it, swimming a little, it was then up to her to keep practicing herself, until her muscles were strong enough to stay up. They could meet once a day to do that.
Riku just gave a silent "oh", not knowing what to say to this. He was utterly shocked that she didn't have any parents, and such a great person like her lonely? He couldn't help, but feel for her, not in pity, but in sympathy. Riku didn't know what it would be like to lose your parents, but he could pretty much guess, since imagining his parents not there was horrible enough. Squeezing her hand more tightly, he whispered solemnly, "I'm sorry..." He then smiled weakly, trying to verve off the subect. Well, at leats heknew more about her. "But...everything is better know, right?" Tifa just rolled her eyes jokingly, a bit amused by Cloud's remarks on drinking, like if she was holding a bottle of Henessy and gulping it. Everybody drank at one point, whether in celebration ot otherwise, it was a normal thing in the world now. Airily, she replied, "If you say so...though, since tomorrow is Saturday, and we are allowed leave to visi tour families and stuff, why...don't we go on a trip?"
Roxas just simply shrugged to her apology, not even caring about anything anymore. The tears had stopped, even though his eyes burned, and felt puffy, he just wanted to be left alone for a moment.
Roxas gave a bitter laugh, watching Larxene portal out. "And there she goes again..." He threw his arms in the air to be more dramatic to that fact, and shook his head, still wondering what in the world Axel saw in her. Walking to a wall, he layed on it as he sat down on the floor, bringing his knees up, and digging his face there. The turbulence inside still wrecking, but he had managed to calm down now, yet the pain was still blaring. He felt so exhausted, and tired, and sick...
OOC: Yep xP. She just has to know and be aware, you write, and then Nymph can take it from there. "I don't drink alot," Tifa told him, as she took another sip, enjoying the sweet and yet tainted flavor. She really didn't, and alcohol mixed with another liquid substance wasn't as strong, so it was alright. "You really should try it though..it won't kill anyone..." Axel just glared at her, though a smirk was etched on his face. "Why my most embarrasing moment, hmm? Anyway, my favorite candy bar...it either has to be Twix or Snickers, I can't choose. The most trouble I've ever been in...well, you were there, weren't you? My almost supension, unless you're talking about my little rebel acts. And..." He eyed her seriously at this, "I am not telling you my embarrasing moment...because I have none." Or at least ones that he couldn't remember, he didn't think he had one...not in his high school years, he was sure. "Hmm?" Riku questioned her, a bit startled from her sudden question, or at least her tone. Thinking that he should answer it, he simply replied honestly, "Yeah...it was. We always used to hang out in the Secret Cave in one of the vacant islands, always sparred, play games...it...I kind of miss it sometimes, to be truthful. "He stared at her interestingly. "Why would you ask?"
Vexen shook his head, a bit graved at the loss of his precious machine. "No, no, it doesn't. I just wanted to see if you can smell him to be sure of his demise. However, my lab just became the place to wreck with emotions, is like a tornado, Roxas is there, some unknownn female is there, even though there is no possible way we can feel." He looked at Zexion sternly. "I don't know whether we should report this to the Superior, he will know soon enough, when he doesn't see him there...." Roxas just looked wide eye when the girl gave him a slap, placing a trembling hand to his cheek, a few more tears slipping down. But that wasn't the fact that shocked, is that he was actually being accused of killing Axel. Why in the world would anyone think such a thing? Not caring at how the other girl slapped the other for slapping him..whatever this crap was, he growled as another surge of anger came from Larxene's sharp words, and his wet eyes turned to her angrily, glaring her down, and acting on his swirled emotions. "Why the hell would you even think I'd kill Axel? YOU KNOW WHAT HAPPENED?! The machine malfunctioned, and he's gone. He's dead!" He spat, crying even more now as he processed the fact to himself, his body shaking even more as he croaked, "All because of trying to protect you...when you don't even deserve him! He was too good for you! You took one last glance and left like it was nothing! Instead of you questioning me, I should question YOU!"
OOC: Spam and eggs? x_X Where? Roxas ignored the people holding him back as his natural reactions and emotions took over, barely even hearing them, even with Rei as he just got up again, trying to get out of their grasps, but still beating the machine to a pulp, he wanted to destroy and make it die permanently just like it did to Axel, and his rage continued on...until there was nothing left but a broken, heap of what used to be a casket that held his once best friend. While it was fueled by anger, it was somehow a stimulant for him to deal with the pain, to thrash out on something to relieve himself, and when he was done, giving one last cry as he gave more waterworks, with a final clash, his Oblivion disappeared, and the Oathkeeper fell from his hand as they shivered, dispersing in a light as well. Breathing heavily now, his lung burning from the rush, he placed his head downwards, his mouth giving out gasps and sobs at the same time, more tears going from his eyes, as his body shuddered. Despite it feeling better, it still wasn't enough to make up for the loss, and he just wondered why Axel? As he sniffed, he whimpered to no one but him, "Why?..." It was from there a hatred for Saïx sparkled, since it was all his fault Axel was dead...all his fault. It was then he froze for a second when hearing Larxene.
Axel felt like he just got candy when that random remark came out of his mouth and saw her laugh. It felt good since he was the cause of her gloomy mood, so he was a bit proud that he got her to a lighter atmosphere. He laughed a little too, what he said resonating in his head, knowing it sounded weird, but able to be understandable. "Actually, no, I don't love alcohol like a fat chick loves cake, that would make me a drunkard." He then gazed at Rei, grinning very sweetly. "So what do you want to talke about? Hey, about this! You ask me questions that you've been wanting to know, and I'll have to answer truthfully, I swear, I promise, I will." Tifa went to the punch table, barely passing a happy Olette and a dazed Roxas, and chuckled quietly to herself. They really made a cute couple, but she wondered if Roxas would ever have the guts to ask her out. Getting a cup, she poured the fruit punch into it, looking down at it for a second, before lifting it up to her lips and taking a sip. As she tasted it, she noticed the alcohol was obvious, a bit stronger than usual, but still didn't affect the flavor of the juice at all. It was good, and she had to give Axel that. With the drink in her hand full, she went back to the table where Cloud was, looking around. Tifa eyes widened when she spotted Rei and Axel sitting down at one not far off, and she saw them both laughing. Grinning now, she happily made her way to her boyfriend, thinking that this meant good news that they were both having a good time. "Man, this punch is good. I should have ended up working in my bar..." She eyed Cloud as she sat down. "I can't believe the dance is coming to a end already...and still no sight of what Rei had planned for Larxene..."
OOC: Axel just died, because the machine he wa sin malfucntioned and, well, now is reactions. But to amore better topic, this is what Axel would so look like if he was in CGI: Axel Basis Axel Basis 2 By the way, for those who don't know, just in case, that's Reno from Final Fantasy 7, who Nomura based Axel off of :3 (he has red marks under his eyes too, it matches with his hair, so you have to look close xD). I would change a few tiny things, but that's as close as I can get :/. Roxas finally lost the will to stand and slumped to the floor carelessly, shaking his head as the tears coursed through his cheeks, not feeling anything but the pain and hurt that...he lost his best friend forever. He couldn't even think straight anymore...his hands that were now shaking were passing throughout his body, and he sobbed mercilessly, not accustomed to the emotion of losing a special someone, or the raging feelings that surrounded every flesh inside. There will be no sardonic remarks, no jokes, no cockiness, no guidance...just no Axel... His fists clenched more, making a slight sting present, and he would have felt it if he wasn't experiencing a more effective grief....a more, more, horrible grief. Why...just why....it was going to be fine, he was making it...it was so close...that machine was working...it was going to save him. And as if something just clicked in his head, out of nowhere a sudden fury exploded inside him from the turmoil that his body was going through, making his arms shake more violently as he shut his eyes tight from the anger, and his mind went blank. Soon, he found himself holding his Oblivion and Oathkeeper, and began to hammer down that machine, destroying it even more, hearing the clashes and planks of metallic being pummeled on as a blessing, one harsh hit after the other, his red eyes now opened but blind, as more tears spilled down, this time, with both woe and frenzy. He had completely lost control of himself. "STUPID MACHINE!! YOU WERE SUPPOSE to SAVE HIM!! YOU TOOK HIM AWAY!!! YOUR USELESS!" He gave a strangled grunt as he kept hitting it, pieces now breaking off and flying everywhere, sparks of electricity now flowing around due to the constant damage, the room resonating with the sound of bumps. OOC: Roxas went loco...then again, he did beat down that computer in rage, didn't he? xD
Axel just followed her lead, and sat down, pulling up a chair, and somehow having another sense of deja vu. Yet now, he didn't think the conversation will be just as warm hearted from the last time. He eyed Olette guiding a flustered Roxas to dance, and smirked, shaking his head a little. He needed to have a talk with him, about how to satisfy your girl, not that he was doing a good job himself at the moment, but he was. The table was quiet for awhile, a uncomfortable silence, at least for him, none saying anything while she was in thought...from her expression a confused thought. It was then he remembered that she must be lost, considering he just told her he didn't feel the same way, or it doesn't run that deep, and that she just tried not to invade personal space...when he didn't even say he didn't want her to. Looking up, he merely mumbled to her, "If you're confused...I just didn't want you to think that just because of what I said, you have to hold back, you get me? I truly don't mind your actions..." He eyed honestly for a moment, before thinking of a way to release this tension dragging into his back with something random, "You know I love alcohol like a fat chick loves cake?" Riku hesitated for a little, before also saying, "Not only that...I'm a only child, live with my mom and dad, and I didn't come from Twilight Town originally. I came from Destiny Islands, a bit far, but no too far, with Sora and Kairi. The thing was Sora's parents wanted to move there, and after he left, me and Kairi went crazy to beg our parents to go there too, and since they understood our closeness, it was done. Of course, I think that was around the fourth grade..." He then chuckled a bit there. "Kairi was always crazy for Sora, or the two of them really, even back then. I admit I was sometimes jealous....and I was, before you. I just wanted someone to call my own, as I told you before...." "Alright then!" Olette exclaimed, throwing the cup near a trash can as she grabbed hold of Roxas' hand, leading him to the dance floor, in a more cheerful state. "The night is almost over, and I want to dance enough with you."
