Hmmm..... This is basic knowledge....... I think if you don't know this, you should uninstall GIMP/Photoshop right this second xD. Anyways, very basic like I said, and Isn't the best way to do this. BUT, I give you props for taking your time to write this.

I was not offended by it, but that guy slaughtered people, if you didn't know. I think some people were borderline disgusted by that, even though it was making fun of him.
Hmmmm It seems you are just about up to par with your old stuff! Hmmm...... They seem a little flat, but the lighting is good. Blending is good. I would suggest making the borders a litte tiny bit smaller. There is also no flow really. They're pretty good though, good job on em. EDIT: oops, I like the Ocelot one better ^_^
