If only I had that card back then... Still I don't see a problem. Maxx "C" is splashable and helpful against things like that. Besides you'd never see a field of 5 facedowns and 5 monsters on only the 2nd turn of the Duel in the real game anyway. I think this helps promote conservative play.
Even if you use Maxx C at the beginning of their turn without them knowing it till they had already set up that big field of Synchros?

Continue your move. OOC: I think it's a helpful counter to what you and Yusei do. I mean it's pretty much the only defense against a field with 5 Synchros and 5 Facedowns. Well mainly if some of the said Synchros are a Shooting Quasar Dragon, a Shooting Star Dragon and a Stardust Dragon.
I've always wanted to take on a deck based around one of the Wicked Gods. Sounds fun. I've only taken on ones based around Dreadroot.

Because the opponent is totally gonna be doing almost nothing but setting monsters and hardly ever summoning anything the entire Duel right?

@Goyo Guardian: Yeah I see what you mean. I definitely understand why he's Banned. He's pretty dang broken. Not only is he extremely powerful for only a level 6 but he's also a permanent Change of Heart on a 2800 ATK Beatstick. I guess he really should be Banned. @Pot of Greed: Yeah that's true. I once used Pot of Greed in my WC2011 videogame and in one Duel where I had a bad starting hand and it turned out those 2 extra cards I gained on that very first turn were all I needed to ensure my victory in that Duel when I would've otherwise lost. Still I always thought it was fun to use and fun to play against back when it was Limited. Same goes for GC. @Lightning Vortex: I just think it's too good to be at 2 or 3. I mean being able to clear the opponent's entire front field at the cost of only a -1 is just too powerful. And some decks like Fables and Chaos can use the cost to their advantage.
I intentionally didn't hit him. Because I want to make sure I know exactly what the rules are going to be before I start. Also we haven't gotten word back from Lyris yet to know if she wants this to be a Tag Duel with me as her partner or not.

Lol I put Call of the Haunted as Banned by mistake. I meant to Limit it. EDIT: And because I'm sure some people will ask; Glow-Up Bulb is not on there because it's balanced. It's not broken. Just good. And Pot of Duality is not on there because it's a completely fair card. It shouldn't have gotten hit. There's nothing amazing or broken about it...And Pot of Avarice is too situational if you ask me. I mean if you got 3 on the first hand that wouldn't be good lol. And I don't find Solemn Judgment Limit-worthy either due to it's steep cost. It's a great card alright but not broken, just good. I don't see how anyone in their right mind would want to run 3 because of it's cost...As for Pot of Greed and Graceful Charity I don't consider them that cheap. Just helpful. But I do see them as being Limit-worthy. Banning them is overkill in my opinion. I find them fun cards to use as well as fun cards to play against when Limited. Regarding Lightning Vortex, I mean come on it's just way too good to be at 3. With the kind of power it has it should at the very least be Limited...Awhile back Konami Limited Smashing Ground while doing absolutely nothing about LV...REAL SMART... Regarding Burden of The Mighty, I just think that it's too good to be at 3 as well. I mean it has no cost and greatly cripples the opponent. And Xyzs are no excuse to leave this card alone and to move Level Limit Area B and Gravity Bind down on the list. It's unfair to people like me and Terra for example who prefer to not use Xyzs most of the time. Regarding Banisher of Radiance and Macro Cosmos, I mean those cards are pure brokeness...Not only do they break Banish Decks but they also shut down a good many decks too...Skill Drain also wrecks and breaks a good many decks. Regarding Bad Reaction to Simochi, Chain Energy and Secret Barrel etc. Well Hey, Have you guys seen how powerful Burn Decks can be when built right? They can FTK among other things...I seriously have no idea how or why they aren't topping at YCS and why Konami has hardly touched them...

When the time is right I think I will return to DN. I really like the changes they've made. It's nice to not have to be bound by Konami's banlist. In that case I think it truly is worth coming back. After all their ridiculous list is the main reason why I quit in the first place. And I had the very same idea for playing with a custom format.
