Beucette looked to one side as Malkira walked off, going left. Meanwhile Mizuki trailed off to the right. "Uh, i dunno about all y'all, but i don't think splittin' up is a very good idea. I mean, it IS a maze in an ancient ruin, and one of the ways has gotta be wrong. I know that we can like track each other and everything, but still. Wrong turns usually lead to like...pits to hell or somethin'. God knows why they're in here. No wait that's the desert...Probably giant axe blades or spike walls or somethin' like that. But you know what Black X means trouble, Trouble means things to kill, the oracle said that i need to kill **** to upgrade my sword." So, she turned right and ran after the two, putting her arms around their shoulders. "Heeeey~" Now, one of them was probably considering killing her. The other probably wasn't. Yet, anyway.

Ezekiel was a bit disappointed that she didn't know anything about Fiyero. He sighed, and listened to her explain what she knew. Evidently, she'd been grieving for some time. This woman had been caretaker to her sister, Nessa, who hadn't been able to walk. Whether it was due to an injury, or she was simply very young wasn't specified. He sat in silence for a moment, before remembering when they'd first arrived. "When we came to you, you seemed afraid of something. You had the door barricaded. Is there some kind of danger here? I may be able to help you, especially given that Fae saved my life." He offered. If there was something he could do to help them, then perhaps he could repay the debt he owed her

Ezekiel entered the room along with Fae. Immediately, she asked who he was, and Fae introduced him as Fiyero. Fiyero? Ezekiel looked curiously at her, though said nothing for the moment. He simply watched the interaction between the two. It wasn't long after that Fae had been sent away, to fetch some water and the old woman turned to him. "Someone who's traveled far as you... all the way from earthland oh boy, needs some pills for sure." He considered taking the pills, but decided against it. There was nothing overly wrong with him at the moment. Nothing rest wouldn't fix, at least. He shook his head. "It would seem she's mistaken me for someone else...That would explain her reaction when we first met. Tell me, who is Fiyero? It must be someone important to her."

He hadn't exactly noticed it before, given his condition, but the woman who had helped him was carrying a flying broom. It wasn't uncommon to see magical items, though this was a bit of an oddity. He mounted the broom with her. He held onto the girl lightly as they flew, to prevent falling from it. It wasn't long before they approached a castle. She began to speak, but cut herself off, before stating the name of the area. Kiamo Ko. He looked at her curiously, but decided not to press the issue. He followed behind her, through the orchard without saying much as she pulled him along.

After they'd gone a ways up the tower, she stopped at a room, and rattled the doorknob. Something was odd about this. The old woman had evidently locked herself inside the room. From the sounds of things, even barricaded the door. What was she so afraid of to go to such lengths to prevent entry? He noted that the woman he'd been saved by was named Fae. It would be good to be able to refer to her, though now was hardly the time for introductions. "What's she talking about? Being murdered in their beds? Is there some kind of danger here?"

Alrighty, so, they met this fish centuar horse thingamabobby. It was all like "yo dawg. I got some riddles for you. If you can answer them right, then y'all good to go. But if not, then the room will start flooding" So first up, it was all like "something something stars something. moon. yes." Anyway sabernotsabershieldperson solved it. Then it was like...you know what you read all this ****. it turned out that they had to be humble. Beucette was nervously sweating. Being humble wasn't exactly her strong suit. Her sword was named ego for chirst's sake. So, she'd just uh...let them handle this one. Although she totally knew all the answers right from the getgo. even before he asked the question. she was that good.

Quinn raced through the air, when they finally came across Erigor. He knocked Cassandra to the ground, causing her to drop Caleb. Lowering down, he dropped Jack and Ander on the ground. They might have to roll to stick the landing, but they shouldn't be hurt by it. He'd done his job and gotten them there. Now, they had to handle themselves. There would be no way he could do this if he had to carry them throughout the entirety of the fight (literally, at least. He'd be doing it figuratively for sure). He raced toward Erigor as fast as he could, without those two to weigh him down. It would take about a second for him to close the distance between himself and the dark wizard. He expected the wind to blow him away, just like it did with Cassandra, but he would make it a bit harder. Right before the collision with the wind that would have knocked him aside, he shifted into his Invincible form, using the force to crash into Erigor and hopefully drag him to the ground.

Quinn glared at Ander. He was sitting there, talking about Dark Guilds like he was the only one to ever have seen one. "Ander, do me a favor and shut the fuck up about dark guilds. I'm bringing you into battle and i'd rather you don't have a broken jaw for the fight, so stop talking before i decide that it's worth it." That kid was pissing him off with his know-it-all self-righteous attitude. He didn't know anything about them. Quinn had defeated guilds just like this one before...He just prayed he didn't have to do it again. A pang of guilt struck his heart, but he didn't change his expression. There was no time to worry about the past. Just like then, there was no time to worry about the future. All that matters is the present. "Machina Soul: Highwind." Quinn grabbed onto Jack and Ander, holding one under each arm. "Keep your jaw tight and don't move your tongue, or you're likely to bite it off." With that, he took off from the ground, accelerating as quickly as he could.

Ezekiel watched as the woman shook and asked if they left him here to die. She'd apparently met them. That would support his theory that she was banished here, the same as him. He looked at her as she began to cry, and the tears seared her face. Did she have some weakness to water? "Please, stop." He stood, and offered his hand to the woman."The first thing we should do is get out of this desert. Please, lead me to this place."

Ezekiel was somewhat surprised as the woman put her hands on his face, brushing his hair away. She'd just saved his life, so he didn't say anything about it. He just let her do as she pleased. Then, she said something about her going home. To his home. Did she mean Sian? No. Why would she be here if she were going to a country on earthland? He decided not to press the matter as she proceeded to ask him a fair few other questions. "I was banished to this desert as a punishment. I declared war on a Wizard's Guild called Sapphire Eclipse. They ended up winning the war. I was stripped of most of my power, and banished here as punishment." As he told the story, there was no sense of bitterness in his voice. He was simply recounting the tale as a matter of fact. He'd been banished for a crime, and he was serving his punishment. It was a simple truth. He didn't begrudge them for it.

Ezekiel lay in the desert sand, the heat of the sun beating down on him. He'd used far too much magic energy. The magic he'd used in the fight with the creature...It wasn't something humans were meant to use. It had been the spells available to him in his ascended form, yet at a fraction of their true power. Even still, they'd sapped nearly every ounce of magic in him. "So this is where i die...?" Ezekiel thought to himself in the blur of his consciousness. It had been a while since the fight, yet he remained unable to move. He'd gathered enough magic back to remain conscious, but he was dehydrated. His lips were cracked and dry. His skin felt like it was on fire from the heat of the sun. But, he heard a voice call out to him.

"F-Fiyero." It said. He was dazed, but he could tell that it was the voice of a woman. The next thing he knew, he had been pulled closer to her. She was chanting. He recognized the language. He'd studied a multitude of tongues. He couldn't make a direct translation. He wasn't that fluent, but he could make out a few words. One of which being "water". It was an incantation. His eyes slid open and he looked up at the green skinned woman. Though it was odd, she was still fairly pretty. Next to the two of them appeared a pool of water. Weakly, but hurriedly, he reached in and cupped his hands to scoop up some of the water. Bringing it to his lips, he quickly drank it.

He did this repeatedly for several minutes. By the end of it, he was a fair bit healthier than when she'd arrived. "Thank you. I don't know who you are, but you saved my life. Might I ask what you're doing in this desert?" He said, introducing himself to her. It wasn't impossible that she was another banished by Evanora to this wasteland. If that were the case, he was curious as to her crime.

Beuce followed after Goofy and his son, chasing the heartless until they came to a hooded figure. He began to chew out the heartless for not doing its job properly, a pretty clear indication that he was the one letting the things loose. Beuce summoned his keyblade for the likely event they'd have to fight this guy. He taunted them, before summoning a rather peculiar keyblade. It looked dark, but incomplete. If he had a keyblade and was looking for the book, along with Mickey, then there was a good chance he was with the apprentices. There was nothing to say that the ones they'd encountered were the only ones that existed. A bead of sweat dropped down the back of Beuce's neck. If he were a strong as Nequa, they didn't stand a ghost of a chance. (Hah!...Why is that funny?)

Then Karina tried to seduce him. This had to be the stupidest plan he'd ev-...Scratch that, not even close. Well, there was a pretty good chance that they couldn't beat him in a fight. If Karina wanted to try and get with him for information, then awesome. Granted the likelihood of him falling for it was next to none, but whatever. Go Karina! Embrace your inner slut!

It looked like Lexcifur's attack had done seemingly nothing. He had guessed there'd be a bit of a darkness resistance from him, but he didn't realize it would be approaching a complete immunity. He wondered if it would defend him from his fighting style, as it wasn't so much the darkness, as just the sheer force of the collision that did the damage, more often than not. In the worst case scenario...Well, it was a bit late for keeping cover now, so there wasn't much point to not using it, but the idea of it left a bad taste in his mouth. He'd left his world behind, exiled himself, and made his own way. He even crafted his own form of wielding the darkness, separate from the way he'd been told of his father using it. If he used it now, then he may as well have just been running and hiding behind his parents. Using their deeds to win his battles. If he did that, then what was it all worth? He'd only use it if he was out of options.

Snapping him out of his thoughts, Dane swung his scythe in the direction of Zavion. Rather than backing up, Zavion saw it as an opportunity to go on the offensive. He stepped toward Dane. To avoid him simply pulling the scythe back towards him and making quick work of him, Zavion shoved one of his forearms against the blade, wedging the tonfa between himself and the bladed weapon. His other fist flew toward Dane's left temple.

Rienzel was a bit overwhelmed at the unorthodox fighting style his opponent. He'd never seen someone with that kind of command over the wind. He threw the weapon in a cyclone, no doubt having seen that it worked last time. Rienzel was a bit more prepared for it this time, but in addition, Stratos charged at him. In an instant, the weapon was no longer flying through the wind, but was in the boy's hands. Clenching his fists, Rienzel created a fold in the veil, thickening the fabric of existence in the space they were in. It was a draining magic, and had been performed with no time to spare. The weapon was mere inches away from his face. While the effects were lesser on Rienzel himself, he was not unaffected. He moved at a painfully slow speed, he'd simply made Stratos move slower. If someone were to use projectile magic on him during this time, he'd be rather vulnerable and incapable of deflecting it.

Although, he had him in a stasis field. This was a golden opportunity. One of his most dangerous attacks was also a powerful defensive measure. A slight yellow glow began to run across his body, fading moments after it passed the body part. Where the glow had traveled was left translucent and ghostly. He was in a state of limbo, only half in this plane of existence. Extending his hand, it appeared as though he were about to touch Stratos' face, but his hand simply went through his head, inside it. He could only sustain the intangibility for a second or two, but he would return to this plane with an explosive force. It wouldn't kill him, He'd need to be standing fully within them for that, and given they were inside a stasis field, he wasn't exactly fast enough to attempt such a position. Though, even this would be a painful experience if he failed to get out of it. Like, maybe a QSS or Zhonya's or flash or something, but he wasn't a fourth wall breaker so he couldn't call upon league abilities.

Bartholomew briefly considered just taking the cuts and draining away Phantom's life to restore himself, but he'd realized that fire was a good way to stop the draining, or rather, reduce the healing. The wounds fire inflicted were fairly grievous. So, he took a step back to avoid the immediate slashes, though more were sure to follow. Raising his sickle, he attempted to parry the blade. "So you've got yourself a lightning sword as well? Just like Ghost. You know, i can see into the farthest corners of your deepest nightmares. I know what drives a person to their wit's end, and then i become it. Although, it's not your fear i'm going to become. It's his." Bartholomew then proceeded to hurl a crow shaped ball of wind at Phantom. You know, that sounded a lot less stupid in my head. All the while he was talking, he stared into the boy's eyes, trying to find what he feared most.

It came as no surprise to Ghost that Caleb had managed to withstand the assault. He may not have been the same man that he'd once known, but his combat skills had far from diminished. He sighed as Caleb yelled that he was getting in his way. "Caleb, you just don't understand." Ghost removed three Shuriken from his belt as Caleb readied the blades. The blades came at him with blinding speed. So quickly that few would have been able to react in time to get out of the way, let alone defend against them. Throwing each shurken at a different blade, he knocked them aside enough to throw them off their intended target. That left three, and Caleb himself. There was a fraction of a second to react. He closed his eyes, steadied his breathing. Time itself seemed to slow down in this ultra-enhanced state of concentration. "It is you who are in my way. It is my purpose to destroy those like Dane, and you have allied yourself with him."

Ghost readied his blade. His eyes jerked open as he performed the painstaking technique that he'd perfected over the years. Four targets. Four strikes. "Tsubame Gaeshi!" The first strike was an overhead arc, knocking a blade off to his right. The next two were parallel horizontal strikes. One coming from the right to destroy the blade on his left, and the other from the left to destroy the blade on his right. The final strike was an vertical slash upward, to deflect the strike to his heart. Four blades to counter, Four strikes to counter them. Each of these strikes had been exactly simultaneous. With Caleb's assault briefly halted, this was the time to counter. Ghost threw Narukami high into the air. Pulling from his person thirteen shuriken, he threw them out into a circle around them and was gone in an instant. The blade landed, planting into the ground and calling down a bolt of lightning to strike it. The electricity arced out to each of the shuriken, linking them in what appeared to be a ring. A Maelstrom began to rain down from the sky, striking everywhere on the ground relentlessly.

Simultaneous, three phantom images of Ghost appeared in the form of three shadows around Caleb. Running forward, the converged on him, before collecting into a red mark on his chest. This mark was a dark assassination technique, not learned by any Assassin in nearly eight generations. Even Ghost was only able to perform it through the aid of his armor. The man who mastered this technique of his own power was one that should be feared. The mark would, after a few seconds, begin the "shadow" the injuries inflicted onto Caleb. Though not in their full severity, it would deepen and inflict once again all the wounds that he suffered throughout its duration.

Like a shadow in the night, Ghost emerged behind the man he had once called his friend. With a spin, he raked two Kunai across the man's back, then raised a single hand. The Shuriken, filled with Narukami's energy, bent to his will. Spiraling inward toward the duo, he commanded them to raze through the guardian of the light, and return to him. He gathered them together, and walked over to Narukami. He plucked the sword from the earth, the electricity gone from the blade. "You have lost sight of the light in your despair. Drown in your fallen ideals and die." He sheathed the Katana, and the mark of shadows detonated.

Quinn had never before seen anything quite so convenient as that. Evidently, Zephyr had rescued a celestial spirit which happened to have the ability to effortlessly dig tunnels beneath the earth, allowing them to bypass the wind wall. It seemed a bit strange, but he wasn't one to look a gift horse in the mouth. Especially not now. Not when there was so much at stake. Following through the tunnel, Quinn emerged and saw Cassandra. "Cassandra, it was a distraction. This was never their goal at all. They lured us into a trap. I managed to get some information out of someone in the broadcast room. Their real target is Clover. They're going to use Lullaby on the guild masters!" He warned.

Listening to the message from Dale, Ra looked to the others. Rising from his seat, Ra seemed willing to help hunt this dragon along with the rest of his team. "No dragon can defeat us." He said confidently. He knew this would be no easy fight, but they'd conquered seemingly impossible odds before, there was no reason they couldn't do it again. Ra gave a slight smirk beneath his mask as Charlotte began to drag Thomas to their destination. "Perhaps one day you will be able to handle Edric in a drinking competition, Thomas." With that, he followed suit as they headed toward this Inn where someone supposedly awaited them with information on a dragon.

Quinn glared at the man he'd just defeated. "They could have at least sent some decent goons...Jeez, that was insultingly easy." Evidently, the man wised up and realized if he didn't tell Quinn what he wanted to know, he wasn't getting out of that room alive. "Clover...Dammit, the guild masters! If they play lullaby there, the master of just about every official guild in Fiore is going to die, Evanora included. We gotta get going!" Before he left, he took one last look at the man that tried to stop them. He should just kill him right there...No, not this time. Although, he didn't mind slowing him down. Aiming Veritas, he fired a shot into the man's right kneecap, followed by one into his left. "Don't go running off. I'll send someone back to get you, then you can rot in prison for the rest of your life, if they decide to let someone like you live. You're lucky I'm even giving you that long." With that, he motioned for Alessia to follow.

Running out the door, he bolted back to where he'd last seen the group. He needed to warn Cassandra about this. Along the way, he ran across the young man who had just joined the guild recently. "Yo! We need to get to Cassandra, quickly!" He called out, continuing to run. "He said that they trapped us...So, does that mean there's no way to get through this wind wall?"
