Ben walked where it seemed that everyone was. So..I'm a 'half-blood'? none of this made any sense to him. He saw the houses, or at least they looked like houses, were shaped in a U form. He saw somebody waiting in the middle, and wondered what he was doing. He seemed to be waiting for someone, but it didn't seem like he was waiting for him. He walked a bit closer, but then hesitated. He knew far too well that he didn't care about him. He looked around, Yep..definitely won't be fitting in anytime soon.
Maddox (Or now he calls himself Max) was wandering through town, people passing by him as if he was invisible. He saw lots of people making a fuss about something, when he passed by a group of giggling girls he overheard "The ball! I'm so excited!" and did a shrill girl scream. When passing by another group "I can't wait!" Guess this is a big fuss.. he said under his breath. He walked off the busy street and kept on walking on the deserted back road hearing the steady thump thump of his shoes on the pavement. Finally he turned off into an area with no houses or no sign of life. He sat down in the middle, and in his hand appeared the giant sword. "What to call it.." he said aloud, startled by his own voice through the silence. He sat there, thinking long and hard. After what seemed like an eternity of silence, his own mind whirling, he said "If I can't think of a name, it will come to me when it's time." he assured himself .Then he stood up and studied the tip of the blade, the way the blade both seemed so dark but so light..this all confused him. His hand gripped around the hilt tighter, "Any minute..I'll awake on the nice soft concrete in the back alley of Twilight Town.." he sighed, not being able to grip reality OOC: GAH LONG POST (or at least for me) :3

Jen ran up to Dan. "Oh...hey..by the way, considering that your new, wait you are new right? Your new or I'm getting old. Anyway, back on topic, pretty good archery there, but that coming from me...well, welcome to Camp Half-Blood!" She shouted as she jogged into her cabin.
OOC Sorry to be a butt head but should I just meet people at the ball or something? Maddox heard nothing anymore but his feet thumping against the pavement. He stopped and looked around, "If I'm stuck here, might as well start out fresh." He muttered, "Something new, like," he paused for a moment, "Max, yeah, I'd like that." he assured himself. He saw something shine a little bit and immediately jerked his head in that direction. He saw something on the ground, it looked like...a giant sword. He hesitantly stepped over to the sword and picked it up. It was heavy in one hand and he had to support it with two. It felt perfect. He looked around, even though it seemed like the outskirts of the place, he still thought it would look crazy for a kid to pick up a giant sharp sword. He looked around hastily, and when he saw somebody look through the window the sword vanished at will. "Guess this isn't so bad after all.." he said under his breath. EDIT: Updated with a BIC. Maddox heard somebody shouting in the distance, but he couldn't make out the words. He decided that since he was stuck here on this beach island kind of thing that he might as well look for people. He started running toward where he heard the noise.
Maddox woke up with a start, his heart beating fast. "What just happened.." he muttered. He stood up and looked around, he didn't see anyone or anything besides some sand and water. But it had looked like people had been there before. Then as he stood up he realized he was no longer weak. "Guess it had something to do with the Lanes Between," he said out loud."How did I know that?" he shouted. OOC: Where are you guys? (BushyBrow and Destinys Hand)
Jen woke up slowly. She stood up and stretched "Hmm..I'm gonna go annoy some wood nymphs" she said as she jogged off toward the forest.
Jen woke up and looked over at the Apollo cabin "Just...wanted...sleep," she muttered, then feel asleep again.
OOC: Thanks :) Sorry if this is too short or too long etc. Maddox looked down the streets, nobody was there, quite strange on a regular day. He walked down the alleyway, and reached the dead end that always scared him. He put out his hand and closed his eyes. He felt that strange tingle in his hand, and opened his eyes, finding the dark corridor that he never understood. He doubtfully took the breath he thought would be his last, and walked into the portal. All of the sudden his eyes stung, and he opened his eyes to somewhere...sunny, that kind of looked like a beach. He suddenly felt extremely weak and tired, probably from the he thought. Barely able to stand he sat down, and closed his eyes hoping a good rest would help this strange weak sensation.
