She looked over at Metal, surprised to finally meet Sonic face to face. So this was him, huh? Wow Lacus thought, pausing to look at everybody gathered here. It looked kind of packed, and if the rest of the survivors were here, than if they stick together, they can get through this. They probably all had their own skills.
Lacus sighed, and walked forward, bringing the girl with her gently. She glanced over her shoulder at Metal with a small smile, "I choose the mansion. Though we better be careful..." She still wasn't sure, but they had nowhere else to go. And if anything, she thought she spotted some people.
Lacus gave a silent cheer, and grab the girl's hand softly, giving her a reasurring smile, who couldn't be much older than her, but her motherly instinncts were taking over. Looking to where Metal Sonic was pointing at, she saw a old mansion. Though she narrowed her eyes. "A mansion in the middle of a forest?" She couldn't keep the uncertainty from her tone, but wasn't that a bit...suspicious?
Lacus nodded again, but still asked with a closed fist as she put it under her chin, "Can the girl come with us?" OOC: She's talking about Mint, but since NoD isn't on yet..
OOC: I think I'm gonna be Tifa. But later. "Yeah, I know you do, but I wonder if he does," Axel spat, not getting what gave off hints to Riku that they might like each other. A Prep? Absolutely not. Just like he didn't care about her and Marx, he didn't care what she thought, or who she was. Even though their last argument ended in peace, that didn't mean that he liked her. Yes, that's right. Riku doesn't know what he's talking about. And if, if, he ever did, they can never be together anyway.
"Me? Mad? No!" Axel laughed a bit more, shaking his head fast along with his hands. "Larxene will never ask me. I never said to anybody I like her, and I don't. She doesn't either. Riku doesn't even know what he's doing. You know what would happen if they ever spot us together like that? Both of our respective groups would shun us. It might not be you, but the rest of them won't accept. This is serious stuff in this high school. Trust me, I've researched. Dating one of the opposite is a betrayal, and I rather not do that. Even for one dance. I'm planning on taking Tifa anyway."
Axel blinked. Then blinked again. Only to crack up laughing at what Roxas just admitted. He clutched his stomach and leaned on a wall, it was just so funny to him. That Riku is freakin' nuts. When the mirth subsided for a little, but he chuckled now and then, he looked at Roxas amused and with a grin, shaking his head. "Roxas.,..hahaha, you can't be serious! Hahah, Larxene wanting to ask me to the dance? And that I like her? And that he want us to be together? Oh man! The guy does not what he's doing! You couldn't tell me that?"
"Roxas, why can't you just tell me?" Axel asked, getting a bit agitated, though that gave him a ache. He and Roxas always told each other everything, and there was something he was hiding. Axel could sense it and see it in his eyes. "And you're not a lowlife, he's the only one who matches that description perfectly. Come on, Roxas, you can tell me anything. You're lucky it was me that caught you and not another Skater."
Axel narrowed his eyes at his suppose best friend. Why did people think he's going to fall for their lies? Did he look that dumb? He was very perceptive, and he hated to be underestimated this way. Crossing his arms, he gazed at Roxas sharply. "There's more to it. Why in the world would Riku help you find Olette?"
"What was that all about?" Axel questioned immediately as Roxas reached him, eyeing Riku as he disappeared in a dark portal with a piercing glare. He then looked at Roxas with a almost confused and hurt look, dread filling up from his heart to his lungs, to his stomach. "Why were you talking to him?"
Axel finally got tired of lounging around the lunch room, and his iPod, so he turned it off, putting it back in his pocket as he got up. He grabbed his empty bottle of soda and flung it at the trash can, making it in, and walked away, opening the doors. Axel wasn't sure whether to go to his dorm, or stay around the school. So he just traveled the hallways, having nothing better to do, only to spot Roxas and Riku talking. They seem to be in cool conversation, and Axel thought with a pang of fear if Roxas was actually betraying them. They weren't suppose to even be near each other for long, unless they were spitting verbal spats or about to have a fight.
OOC: Lol. Yeah, we kind of did xDD. Okay. Just say you were outside or something, instead of sleeping ^_^;. Makes more sense... I'm gonna come back later.
OOC: Hey, Gatekeeper, yyou know you're with Axel and Larxene in a cave right?
OOC: Yeah, you got Rikku. Axel eyed the two as they left, but he decided to stay. He just wasn't in the mood for walking, and he was comfortable just there, listening to music, doing nothing, but just relaxing. And Demyx's purposeful horrible singing was gone with Roxas now. Heh.
"I just want to know how it happened," Axel muttered to himself, leaning back on his chair as he graced his thumb over the iPod he was holding on to for such a while. He wasn't going to worry about it, however, or care, and listened calmly to his music, already claiming this Sharix on his bad list. Not because she was a Prep, precisely, but because of her actions. He wouldn't judge a person after Marx, but he would stay with that view until she proved otherwise.
That was prove enough for him right there. Sharix just ran off, and he wasn't about to give chase to someone that probaly wouldn't matter in the long run. And Undecideds never had any fear from both groups, because they didn't have the intention of joining either one of them. So she was in the Preps, or she suddenly didn't want to associate with them. And he was going for the former. Standing for awhile, as he gazed at her back, he turned himself around diligently, heading to the table. Axel didn't get that far, and he sat on his chair sooner than what he expected, glaring at the ground intently as the music blared in his ears. In a serious voice, he said to Roxas, "I think is a good idea not to talk to her anymore. She's definitely giving vibes that she is a Prep. I'm sure of it."
What if she succeeded? Axel asked to Roxas in his mind, but didn't say it outloud. He eyed Sharix cautiously as she stood up and started to leave, and he couldn't help, but be suspicious. If she was friends with Roxas, why didn't she greet him? Or even wave? And why was she looking so upset? Whatever it was, he was going to find out now. It was in his nature to see what people's intentions truly were. "I'll be right back," he dismissed to Roxas, before quickly getting up, grabbing hold of his iPod, but leaving his soda there, and headed towards the girl before she could get out. He yelled at her for she could stop, "Hey, Sharix! Hold up!
Axel looked to where Roxas directed, and widened his eyes in surprise. Even though she was covering her face, the familiar built and the hair gave it away for him. It was the exact same girl that he caught with Larxene. They were talking as friends, he remembered, before the whole running out of here. But she was back again. Now he was confused. "But I saw her hanging out with Larxene earlier."
"I don't think so, as it may just been here from the strong winds of the storms or something to that affect. But who knows?" Axel responded absentmindedly, as he stared around the ground at the leaves, and there were a few sticks and branches, he noted as well. Little, but what they will need for now until they adjust. Bending down to gather them up, he went into the process of collecting them in his arms, placing them one by one in the middle of their newfound cave. They were light, and not heavy, so the gathering wasn't so hard, thankfully. When he was done, managing not to clear off the blaze that still flickered in his hand, he put it near a branch where its point was sticking out, and lit it on fire. Straightening up to stand, he watched as it quickly spread the embers, turning it into a bonfire in a matter of seconds, the stronghold sputtering with orange brightness and glow. How he loved his element.
"Anyway," Axel emphasized boredly, looking around the cafeteria. "Is she somewhere around here? She piqued my attention."
