Axel felt a sudden dread come over his stomach, not really wanting to hurt Naminé's feelings, as the girl was just too nice and sweet for rejection. He didn't even want to do it, but he can't lead her on either. And Roxas....man, Roxas... He gazed at her with a anxious look, not knowing how to word it, "Yeah..I heard. Naminé I..." He bit his lip, already feeling guilty, and not in any way pleasant. This was too stressful, his job never proved to be this hard before.
"A girl who doesn't do her job," Axel answered bitingly, giving a glare to Larxene, before looking at ZC. "No problem, by the way," Axel smiled back, shoving him softly forward. This kid was really cool, and he wondered if he should add him in their group, just not now. He needed to tell him and Roxas."You should go before you miss any of your classes. Is the first day of school, you know, introduction and all. Hope to see you around." OOC: See? Axel's nice when people aren't a b*tch to him xP.
"Wait!" Axel exclaimed, grabbing ZC's arm to stop him from rushing out of here. He let go to grab the printed out paper where ZC's classes were inscribed, and passed it to him, smirking slightly, "You can't run off without your schedule."
"I-I'm fine," he stuttered breathlessly, picking himself up with the help of the table, his palm set on it to lift him. Managing to stand up, albeit a bit weakly, he bent down to pick up the chair, setting it straight again, and sat down on it, knowing he needed the support now. Axel closed his eyes and breathed, not believing this was happening. Great. Freakin' fantastic. Not only did one of his friends liked the girl he had been pining for a long time, the girl his best friend was crushing on liked him. Which shouldn't even be possible. And not to mention...what would he say?
Axel rubbed one eye with his hand at the question, not really knowing what to say. This kid was a certified genius, that was for sure, a real Dexter, but he was positive that the robot didn't need to be signed in either. He wasn't human. He explained this to him, "Well, honestly, I don't think a robot has to be assigned, so you can keep him as your back pack. I think is good enough." Axel didn't even work here, and he was doing other people's responsibilities. Like, guiding new student's in, for example, was the Student Council's job. Not his.
All that Axel was aware of before he lost his balance and flew backwards, crashing his chair and himself painfully on the floor, was the word "you". That damn, agonizing, no good word of "you". Somebody, kill him now. Grunting, he rubbed his back as he slowly got up stumbling, glad that the fall wasn't that hard, but it didn't stop the shock of what Naminé just admitted. Him? She likes him?!
Axel jumped in his chair in shock, surprised that a metal object just greeted him. What in the...? Leaning forward, peering at the 'back pack' fascinated, he gaped at, what he guessed to be, a robot, and almost got startled again when two little eyes were looking at him. Now, Axel had seen many things, one more weirder than the other, but he had never experienced a alive computerized object before. Only in shows or movies. Still a bit amazed, he eyed this ZC, remarking, "This is freakin' cool. Where you got it from?"
"Tell me," Axel urged, looking up at the ceiling still in the same pose on the chair, and not paying attention to the way Naminé was acting. "If you can't tell me who he is, there's no way you can ever tell him in front of his face about your feelings, which I think are a bit off the direct path of who you like. So, come on, tell." He wasn't positive that what he said was true, but he had to say something. If she admits who it is, he might be able to speak with the guy and explain what is happening. If Axel was lucky, he wouldn't have feelings for her too.
"ZC...." Axel mumbled absentmindedly, typing it into the search box, as he leered at the bright screen. Once he pressed enter, ZC's file popped up, and he edited so that it will confirm ZC's spot of the list of students. After that, he went towards the schedule and ordered it to print. Done, he eyed the new kid, hearing him say something about a back pack...? That was strange, who points to their back packs? "Did you say something about your back?"
"And who is that 'someone else who has all those qualities and more', if you don't mind me asking?" Axel questioned curiously, rocking back and forth on his seat. He needed to try a new tactic to get Naminé into thinking Roxas was the one for her, and she probably is. Hopefully, this will turn out alright. He didn't need his best friend going emo, as well as the whole Demyx and Larxene situation piling on him.
OOC: Lol. Really? Thanks! xP Axel held in a laugh at actually being called "Sir", and paid attention to the shy looking kid next to him. Raising both his eyebrows as he grinned, he gave a careless wave and slung his arm in the armrest, "Please, don't call me, Sir. The name's Axel. 'Sir' makes me sound old, and I'm too sexy for that. But, right, the point...um, just tell me your name, or your phone number." With that, he focused back on the computer, putting in the username and password. He waited as it logged in, and once it did, he drove the mouse to the student files quickly and double clicked, waiting for the boy to tell him the information.
OOC: True xP, but this is Naminé's opinion, and he is a bit kind, he did help Sora, and he's cocky and confident. Though it does reflect Roxas more... "Think about it Naminé," Axel helped, now making his chair grind on its two legs, expertly balancing himself. He was still able to look at her through the corner of his eyes. "Doesn't that fit Roxas?
"And finally..." Axel stressed, holding back a yawn as he read over the last piece of writing, and grinning to himself at the contents, he proclaimed, "For the students favor, we will have a new brilliant plan for you all brainless fools this Friday. The staff has come to the conclusion of having a Welcome Back To School dance, and everyone is invited. There will be music, food, and drinks served every hour until closing, and we ask you to find a date for your enjoyment, as well to keep in mind that there will be chaperones. Well, isn't that fantastic....hope most of you got game. Furthermore, not sorry for wasting 8 minutes of your lives, this will be all, and I hope you have a horrible day. Thank you for hearing me rambling." Axel clicked off the speaker swiftly, and sank into his chair, sighing tiredly. Knowing that the new fish will be coming here to get their schedules and all, he went to turn on the computer, and while waiting it to load, not hearing the quiet "hello", he shouted, "If any student is out there, get your carcass in here!"
Axel looked at his watch nervously, counting down when Saïx will appear. He was always right on time when he worked, so he had to end this fast. "The notices....they're not much. Just a reminder to the teachers not to forget the meeting after school, and that not showing up without a probable excuse will have a warning consequence of irresponsibility and failure to be on time being put in their work files permanently. Wow, what a b*tch...anyway, also for new students, like a particular a*shole I had the pleasure to encounter, it is important that they should come to the office to get themselves signed and be given their schedules as soon as possible. To activities... Practices will be held to find new ditzes for the cheerleading squad on Wednesday straight after classes end at 3, and for any of the guys interested, boys basketball try-outs will be held in the gym tomorrow after school at 4 PM."
OOC: It really is xP. Axel was writing all this down as she described, only to stop suddenly when she was done. He glanced at her surprised, and a bit lost, perfectly knowing that these were all Roxas' traits. And she didn't like him that way? Placing his items down, he crossed his arms, leaning on the back of the chair lazily. He raised a brow, asking, "Doesn't that person sound familiar to you?"
OOC: ...you're already in. Look at the front page. Hoping Saïx doesn't come early, as he's the real man in this school, and will castrate him if caught, he continued, "Though I have to say to the Prep that if Saïx finds out, he will be suspended, but education isn't important in this hell hole, so we move on peacefully. To introduce myself, my name is Axel. A-X-E-L. Got it memorized? And...we are suppose to do the flag salute, but since I'm in control, we'll just skip that since it makes absolutely no sense praying to a piece of cloth. Is not like the nation is going be blessed by the pointless ritual anyway. Now for the real notices..."
"Man, Rox, this looks bad for you already," Axel mumbled quietly, biting his bottom lip as he thought over what to do. Seeing the distressed expression Naminé was wearing, he shook his head, giving her a smile. "Sorry for the questions. I did warn you. And I guess is whatever you feel..." Taking out his pen and clicking the top, he scribbled this information on his pad, eyeing her closely. "Then... what kind of guy do you like?"
Grabbing what he was looking for, he rolled the chair to the left, heading towards the computer desk which Sora didn't clobber in all the anger that he was, where the speaker was. Placing the papers down, looking it over fast, he turned on the microphone, getting close to the mouthpiece. Axel blew on it to test it first, and heard his breath resonate in the room and beyond. Perfect. Clearing his throat, trying to sound sarcastically dignified, he spoke, "Welcome back students, to another hell of a year in Twilight High! Isn't that utterly wonderful? No. Of course not. I'll be taking over for Xemnas for today, as he is sadly unavailable right now due to someone trashing his office in rage. But I digress."
Wrong answer, Axel thought to himself wincing, hearing what she said. This is going to be way harder than he planned. I mean, a brother? That's going to be hard to break. Sighing, he eyed the girl with widened eyes, questioning, "A brother? Are you sure about that, I mean, that could be what you think you feel. You might never be too sure. Just saying."
Getting inside the accursed room again, the workers not minding that he was walking into the principal's office, he passed by them, wondering to himself how hasn't the school been in ruins by now. Axel opened the door, peeking in, and fortunately, finding it empty and Xemnas free. Making his way behind the now destroyed desk again, he sat on the big office hair, that wasn't harm that badly, thankfully. He rolled around on the seat, to the book shelf behind him, knowing that this is where Xemnas kept his announcement notices.
