I see no problems with people staying friends with exes depending on the situation. I've seen multiple scenarios in my life to argue for and against it though. Like, for against: my aunt stayed friends with an ex with the full intention of hoping she could get him back. Don't do this, let them move on and don't just stay in someone's life because you refuse to let them move on. Staying friends with an ex is something common for my family surprisingly though. It's usually because my family has a tendency to date the people who were their best friends, and then they find out it didn't work out in a romantic setting, so they just went back to being friends. I say it depends on your own mental health and if you are up for it. If your ex wants to maintain a friendship with you, and you do too, then try it out. If it doesn't work, don't beat a dead horse.
Spoiler: Flashback 4 "We need someone here that knows about this launch, if anything were to happen to us we need a fall back." "But wouldn't letting someone know raise suspicions? Why don't we just go?" "If someone got injured for whatever reason, how would we get help?" "Seiza you worry waaaay too much. What could possibly go wrong?" Spoiler: Mechanics down, please switch into manual "Just stay calm and stay still!" "I want to help!" "You aren't helping unless you stay still!" "I'll press the brake-" "You have messed up enough here! Just stay right there and don't touch anything!" "YOU DON'T TRUST ME!" "STOP BEING SUCH A BRAT AND SIT BACK-" "I HATE Y-" "Kaida, get down!" Spoiler: Battery 5%. Oxygen levels low. "Wake up... wake up... I don't hate you... please... wake up... I'm sorry." "I'm sorry..." "Seiza please wake up." "I promise I'll listen to you... please..." Spoiler: And then, a light flashed. It was a relatively calm night in Central Haven. Or at least the side that was supposed to be night. There weren't a lot of people wandering about, and those that were tended to be sitting around taking notes about the sky. One keyblade master paced around heading back for the Order Headquarters and had taken a look at the sky to stare at the stars before they noticed something peculiar about the sky. A star seemed to be heading in their direction, and their face for a moment stared in confusion before a look of panic struck as the light became painful to look at. People ran off from the area afraid of what was going to happen exactly, and then the star made impact with the ground. Everything seemed to shake and the spectators of the sight covered their eyes to not go blind. When things seemed to fade out, a figure was seen laying on the ground, while the light continued to shine on one object. The master ran towards the man and leaned down to make sure he was okay, but as they went to check the pulse they couldn't feel it. The master yelled for help to get the man to the medical section as soon as possible before something terrible could occur. When the group helped the man to move him, the master walked closer to the light as it seemed to fade, and stared in awe as the figure of a small, possibly twleve year old girl seemed to be reaching in the direction of where the other figure was. Her eyes were shut but there were clearly traces of what were tears in her eyes. The master checked for a pulse, and received a normal pulse. The master looked up to the sky to see if something were up there that could explain how the two got there, but nothing seemed out of the ordinary. The master moved to pick up the child and had her in their arms and headed towards the medical section, but was stopped still for a brief moment as they heard her mumble, "Please don't die because of me..." Kaida was doing her best to obey the laws of time travel, and since DJ had left her fairly quickly it was even more tempting for her to run off and warn people in advance... but she didn't. She was now an hour back in time, and had managed to leave just in the time, perhaps minutes before they would have been locked in. She glided towards where Disneytown should have been, she was very nervous about having so much of a weight on her shoulders due to how important this mission was, but she kept having her mind go back and wonder if everyone was alright. She figured everyone would be able to get out of there. Seiza can't leave. He can't get out of there because of his heart. If only I hadn't been so careless back then... I hope he ends up okay... Kaida took a deep breath and shook her head under her armor, she would try to push back these thoughts, she was helping, Seiza would be okay. Or at least she hoped. She stared at the path ahead as she finally began to approach Disneytown.
hell no I'm not paying a fee
Here in New England there's been a lot of chaos going on lately, and I had not been knowledgeable of most of it because I have been cut off from civilization for about three weeks. But Robin Williams dying was one of the few things that managed to get to me. I didn't know how he had died at first for about... three days. I was still really upset and it really had gotten to me, because I was raised on Robin Williams movies. But on Wednesday someone told me the cause of death, and I just couldn't stop crying. I really hadn't know about his depression issues, I think I had missed that. But it's just heartbreaking that a man who's put so many smiles on his face... just couldn't really smile to himself in the end. R.I.P. Robin Williams.
HEYA I'M HOME I THOUGHT IT'D HAVE STARTED ALREADY BUT IT DIDN'T I KNOW YOU HAVE A FULL PLAYER LIST AT THIS POINT BUT AT LEAST NOW I KNOW I CAN ACTUALLY COVER FOR Y'ALL. (best of luck)
I LIVE!!!!!
Kaida reacted in pain and realized that despite the umbrella, he was a lot stronger than her. So she decided to enlist for help, and she summoned Maximus saying, "Hey friend, help me out, alright?"
Kaida had been silent after Hikaru had left. She was trying to let his words sink in, and was unaware, even though she could hear a voice behind her, that she was threatened to be attacked, and when she heard DJ speak, she snapped back to reality, and found herself looking at Vanitas, who was frozen, and DJ, who seemed to have done the freezing, and he asked: "You alright, Kaida?" Kaida stared for a moment, blinked a couple times before she spoke, "Well I would probably not have been if you didn't stop him so yeah." "Hehe, 'stop,' get it?" She let out an annoyed grunt at the pun and she walked a little bit closer to him, still constantly looking towards Vanitas. She kept considering kicking him while he was down, but due to the butt kicking she had earlier, she wasn’t quite sure if that was a good idea. DJ looked over at Vanitas as well and spoke, "He'll be only out of it for a minute or so, so I've got to fast forward through some stuff with you" "And what would that be? Should I run over and get the group and Hika- oh no are they going to be alright?!" “Yue and Lea or heading to the Hall, with Orion joining Kuma at the training grounds, but you've got to listen to what I'm about to say..." DJ shifted Kaida and himself away from earshot of Vanitas and he whispered, "The world's been locked down... no access through gliders, and the universal clocks have been stopped in place. We're all confined for now." Kaida’s face appeared to be calm for a moment before she laughed and her face showed clear fear, "Oh... GREAT. That just sounds WONDERFUL. So we've got superhuman here, how many more do we think there are gonna be? And if there's more-" Kaida grabbed DJ’s sleeves and nearly shook him letting out a shout, “HOW ARE WE GETTING OUT OF HERE!?" DJ forced her to take deep breathes as he spoke, “1 or 2 signatures were detected before the lockdown initiated… I didn't know what it was until I had a thought." DJ held up two of the belts, one was the Gamma belt Krowley had given to him. Kaida stared in a bit of disbelief before she mumbled, "The belts... the belts aren't affected by this at all?" “Like I said, the universal belt is rendered useless, but the inner clocks still work! If you and I go back to before the lockdown happened, we can glide out of here and search for answers!" "That sounds remarkably easy... are we able to take people back in time with us though? What's going to happen to all of the keybladers... the groups that came in? Cat, Glen, Hikaru? Or Seiza? Seiza can't leave after all..." Kaida was clearly showing a lot of worry, feeling like she was committing some sort of betrayal, "I don't know how to feel about abandoning them..." DJ placed a hand on her shoulder and answered,"... Krowley told me to go through with it. We're the most resourceful in our group. Yue and Lea might be able to escape through darkness, and Merlin through warping, but the transmitters that caused this only allow passage for 1 person. 2 would be pushing it... If there's another route out, it'll reveal itself." "Krowley knew you'd be leaving with the belt already? How long have you guys known there was an attack happening?" "Not long, which gives us little time to reflect on it. But know this Kaida... we're only there to leave. We can't change what's already happened. First rule of Time Travel Law.” Kaida was trying to find out a logical solution to the entire problem, "Can't we leave some sort of warning that this is going to happen? You know... so they could..." She trailed off, getting very quiet, before she pushed DJ’s hand off of her shoulder. "I know the answer you don't have to tell me." "I know it's hard. Sometimes you have to play out things that make you uncomfortable. But that's a responsibility we're burdened with as a warrior of light. Your friends are resourceful... If there's a way out, they'll find it.” Kaida used that to justify everything before she nodded,"...Fine... so we're going back and time to a bit before then... then we are leaving... where do we go after that?" “Disneytown. It's a long whiles away, but it's a place we've always found refuge against weary eyes Find Queen Minnie and tell her the order's in danger... You'll need to do this alone though. I have to find some answers of my own” Kaida looked over at Vanitas, thinking about how if he wasn’t alone, he had help. She wasn’t trying to figure out if Aux was here, at this point she had almost forgotten about Aux entirely for the situation. She took another deep breath, looked over at DJ and spoke, "Alright then... lets go…" Kaida grabbed one of the belts DJ offered, and she put it on. She activated it and sent herself back in time, despite still feeling a little bit of regret about leaving her friends behind.
Oh please, you think you have spam email? At least your provider's spam filter allows spam to go through and NOT actual emails. And the spam keeps telling me I only have a few years left to live D:
Teen Titans Go Why did it have to be Teen Titans Go
Kaida stared in complete shock over the fact that a meer umbrella turned into the scariest weapon known to man. Kaida freaked the heck out and dodge rolled and for once in her life, dodged successfully. She let out a quick "yes" then ran at Steel yelling, "I THINK SKILL JUST BEAT LUCK... MAYBE! LET ME BELIEVE THAT." and she swung her keyblade at him for a combo.
Alright y'all, it's time for part two of my departure.... and this time it's longer! is it a real pizza, or a picture of a pizza
Okay, this has been a subject that has made me curious what people's opinions are for it, because I notice this is becoming a more and more common thing among roleplays. Now, when I say RNG or coin flipping I mean these scenarios: -RNGing groups together based on a number system -Determining who wins and loses a fight based on a coin flip -Determining whether someone lives or dies based on random chance -Determining the outcome of a scenario based on random chance (whether it be RNG, coin flipping, dice rolls, or another method) -Determining how much damage an enemy does to the player -Determining how much damage the player does to the enemy There are many other ways these can be used, but these are the scenarios that tend to pop up the most. When you hear that RNG is being used, do you not care, or do you get really bothered but just stay silent about it. My opinion on the RP chance game changes depending on how it is used. I prefer if RNG is being used to be told about it beforehand, so I can know whether or not I will join an rp because of it. I do not mind, if for instance, your rp has a predetermined destiny that all players are aware of, and RNG is just picking who goes first, I don't mind that. What I do not like, is when RNG conflicts with other systems within the RP. Imagine something like so: You play a nobody in a kingdom hearts rp, and you have spent a lot of time levelling up your character to make sure they can fight in the final battle because you know you will last that long. But something happens in the RP and the creator takes a list of every character, gives them a number, and presses the randomize button. Your character's number was chosen, and no matter what the outcome is, your character will die. You can fight all you want but the result will still be the same, all because a computer picked your number. And now that my thoughts are out, what are yours?
Tal still held onto the box, trying to figure out some sort of method to get to the part under their necks. She wasn't quite sure if she could, but she analyzed everything around her just to see. Then she heard a little voice in her head. "Diffadon! I'm coming to help you with what you need." The little dragon flew in past the ring and over to Tal and he let out a "mighty roar" and Tal gave him a look and Ember spoke, "I can get the part under their necks, no problem at all! And I won't have to use brisingr, since I teethed." Tal looked around to make sure a golem wasn't after her at that point but she nodded at Ember and he flew up to the golem trying to not get noticed, and went to the little part under it's neck and it attacked the gem. Tal meanwhile made sure she didn't drop the box and started whispering encouragements towards Ember.
